CREATIVE WORK CONTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Described is a creative work contribution system. The system includes a server, a creator computing device and a plurality of contributor computing devices. The creator computing device and the plurality of contributor computing devices may be coupled to the server. The server may be programmed to receive and store a creative work request from the creator computing device; automatically process the creative work request and send the creative work request to the plurality of contributor computing devices for display and for entering contributions to the creative work request; receive and store the contributions entered by the plurality of contributor computing devices; and automatically deliver the received contributions entered by the plurality of contributor computing devices for display on the creator computing device. The system allows for crowd sourcing of creative input into specific types of creative works to help a creator overcome mental obstacles.
USER-CONFIGURABLE SPATIAL AUDIO BASED CONFERENCING SYSTEM
A client device receives an arrangement of at least a subset of participants of a virtual meeting. The client device additionally receives an audio stream for each participant of the subset of participants of the virtual meeting. For each participant of the subset of participants, the client device determines a location based at least in part on the received arrangement, and modulates the received audio stream of the participant based on the determined location. The client device generates a combined modulated audio stream by combining the modulated audio stream of each of the participants and plays the combined modulated audio stream.
Automatic issue identification and status notification of screensharing in a virtual meeting
A system and method for automatically detecting issues during screensharing in an online meeting. The system and method allow automatic status notification of screensharing, which facilitates efficient and convenient use of virtual meetings. The system and method also use a live status indicator to provide constant and continuous data about the health of the ongoing screensharing session, which prevents computer and network resources waste on status inquiries. The system and method also recognize a problem/issue of the content-sharing and provide virtual meeting participants real-time action guidance to optimize the quality of content-sharing.
Compliance auditing for encrypted video conferences
One example method includes receiving, by a compliance auditing server, an indication of an encrypted video conference; sending, by the compliance auditing server, a request to a video conference provider to join a compliance auditing participant to the encrypted video conference, wherein the video conference provider does not have access to the compliance auditing server; receiving and storing, by the compliance auditing server, encrypted streams of audio and video from a plurality of participants in the video conference, wherein: the compliance auditing participant is one of the plurality of participants; and the video conference provider does not have access to the cryptographic meeting key; receiving, by the compliance auditing server after the encrypted video conference has ended, a request for a portion of the encrypted streams of audio and video; and providing, in response to the request, the portion of the encrypted streams of audio and video.
Methods, Systems, and Devices for Presenting an Audio Difficulties User Actuation Target in an Audio or Video Conference
A conferencing system terminal device includes a display, an audio output, a user interface, a communication device, and one or more processors. The one or more processors present an audio difficulties user actuation target upon the display during an audio or video conference occurring across a network and concurrently with a presentation of conference content. Actuation of the audio difficulties user actuation target indicates that audio content associated with the audio or video conference being delivered by the audio output is impaired.
Proactive provision of new content to group chat participants
Techniques are described herein for automated assistants that proactively provide content to participant(s) of multi-participant message exchange threads (e.g., group chats, audio and/or video calls in which oral messages are transcribed for analysis, etc.) based on signals such as individual participant profiles associated with participant(s). In various implementations, automated assistant(s) that may not be explicitly invoked may analyze content of a message exchange thread involving multiple human participants and/or document(s) associated with the message exchange thread. Based on the analyzing, the automated assistant(s) may identify topic(s) pertinent to the message exchange thread. Based on individual participant profiles associated with the participants, the automated assistant(s) may identify shared interest(s) of the participants. The automated assistant(s) may then select new content based both on the pertinent topic(s) and the shared interest(s) of the participants and proactively provide the new content to one or more of the participants.
TARGETED POSITIONING OF MESSAGE CONTENT FOR INTERFACES IDENTIFYING MULTIPLE USERS
The techniques disclosed herein provide a system that can generate targeted positioning of message content for multi-user communication interfaces. In some configurations a system may generate a user interface that displays a number of video stream renderings, wherein individual video stream renderings, e.g., thumbnail views, show a participant of a communication session. When one of the participants sends the user a private message, the system renders at least a portion of the private message in a semi-transparent format as an overlay on the video rendering of the sender. This allows a traditional video stream interface to also function as an organizer for private messages sent to a particular user. This user interface format allows a user to readily identify a broader perspective of chat activity without requiring a user to enter specific chat user interfaces or provide a number of manual input entries to view the private chat content.
Multiple device conferencing with improved destination playback
Disclosed are systems and methods for providing a virtual conference using personal devices of the participants. In one embodiment, a proximity value is generated and encoded in audio streams from each device. A server can compare proximity values and enable a suitable microphone, while disabling the remaining microphones. Systems and techniques for improving capturing and synchronization of source audio and improved audio playback at destination are also disclosed.
Video conference calendar integration
In an example embodiment, a tool to provide calendar integration with video conferencing technology to allow for the rendering of a specialized graphical user interface during a video conference that displays not only an identification of which users are currently attending or otherwise connected to the video conference but also an identification of users that have been invited to the video conference but not yet attended.
Scalable extended reality video conferencing
Some embodiments of the present inventive concept provide for improved telepresence and other virtual sessions dynamic scaling and/or assignment of computing resources. An XR telepresence platform can allow for immersive multi-user video conferencing from within a web browser or other medium. The platform can support spatial audio and/or user video. The platform can scale to hundreds or thousands of users concurrently in a single or multiple virtual environments. Disclosed herein are resource allocation techniques for dynamically allocating client connections across multiple servers.
