Full-duplex communications over a single-wire bus
Full-duplex communications over a single-wire bus is described in the present disclosure. In embodiments disclosed herein, a master circuit and a slave circuit(s) are able to communicate forward (master to slave) bus telegrams and reverse (slave to master) bus telegrams concurrently over a single-wire bus consisting of one wire. Specifically, the master circuit is configured to modulate the forward bus telegrams based on voltage pulse-width modulation (PWM), while the slave circuit(s) is configured to modulate the reverse bus telegrams based on current variations. In addition, the slave circuit(s) is further configured to harvest power from the master circuit concurrent to receiving the forward bus telegrams and sending the reverse bus telegrams. By supporting full-duplex communications over the single-wire bus, it is possible to improve efficiency, cost, and power consumption in an electronic device wherein the single-wire bus is deployed.
OPERATING A FIRE SYSTEM NETWORK
Methods, devices, and systems for operating a fire system network are described herein. One method includes receiving a plurality of time-slotted maintenance messages over a period of time from each of a plurality of fire system devices located in a facility via a first spreading factor, receiving an event message from a fire system device of the plurality of fire system devices responsive to the fire system device determining a fire event, the event message sent via a second spreading factor, and sending a block actuate message to the plurality of fire system devices responsive to receiving the event message, wherein the block actuate message is configured to activate a fire alarm.
Broadcast response method and system
A system and method for broadcast response generally employing RDS, DARC, or similar technology is provided, including a method for responding to a broadcast comprising extracting an event identifier from a broadcast signal; detecting a response by a user to the broadcast signal; polling a communications device to determine a user identifier; and communicating the event identifier and the user identifier when the user response is detected.
Multiple multicast network system and method for ensuring reliability
A multiple multicast network system and method for ensuring reliability in such a network are provided. A multiple multicast method in a multiple multicast network system may include grouping terminals having data to be transmitted to each other in a group. The method transmits, by each of the terminals in the group, data of each of the terminals to the other terminals in the group. In response to receiving the data, the method provides, to the terminals in the group, as feedback, missing packet information, and generates, by a terminal among the terminals in the group, a secondary network-coded packet by performing network coding based on a successfully received packet and data of each of the terminal, and transmits the secondary network-coded packet to the other terminals in the group based on the missing packet information.
File Repair Method, Related Apparatus, and System
A file repair method includes receiving, by a broadcast/multicast service center, a file repair request message sent by user equipment, where the file repair request message includes a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) corresponding to file data to be repaired and a transmit session identifier of a File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport FLUTE session that transmits the file data. The method further includes determining, according to the transmit session identifier, the FLUTE session that transmits the file data, and determining repair data of the file data according to the FLUTE session that transmits the file data and further according to the URI corresponding to the file data.
Method and Device for Determining and Processing Indication Information, Method and Device for Processing Request Message and Computer Storage Medium
The disclosure discloses a method and device for determining and processing indication information, a method and device for processing a request message and a computer storage medium. In the method, whether or not user plane data born on a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) is congested or overloaded is determined to configure first indication information; and the first indication information is sent to a Group Communication Service (GCS) Application Server (AS).
Technique for reliable bulk data delivery
Presented is a technique for broadcasting content data from a broadcaster (including a multicaster) to a plurality of clients. After a client receives content data from the broadcaster, a plurality of available proxy servers may be contacted, within a specified time interval, for post-processing after the content data broadcast is determined. The client subsequently randomly selects one of the available proxy servers to contact for post-processing after the content data broadcast. The client then randomly selects a delay time within the contact interval for the selected proxy server, at which time the client contacts the selected proxy server at the delay time to initiate post-processing.
Multicast Feedback Configuration Method and Apparatus
This application relates to the field of communication technologies, especially to V2X, intelligent driving, intelligent and connected vehicles, and the like. The method includes: sending, by a first terminal, first information to a second terminal, where the first information includes information indicating a feedback manner of first data, the first data is a data packet sent by the first terminal to the second terminal, the feedback manner is a first feedback manner or a second feedback manner, the first feedback manner is that the second terminal feeds back, to the first terminal, only acknowledgement information indicating that the data packet fails to be received, and the second feedback manner is that the second terminal feeds back, to the first terminal, acknowledgement information indicating that the data packet is successfully received or fails to be received. The method is applied to a multicast transmission process.
GROUP-BASED SIGNALING FOR A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a network device from a server, first data associated with an application. The method further includes, during a first monitoring occasion associated with the application, transmitting, by the network device, the first data to a first group of multiple user equipment (UE) devices that execute the application. The method further includes transmitting a message to the first group after transmitting the first data. The message indicates completion of the first monitoring occasion.
Highly resilient protocol servicing in network-attached storage
A mechanism is provided a data processing system for protocol servicing in network-attached storage. A protocol service executing in the data processing system in a clustered file system establishes a high priority recovery thread. The high priority recovery thread monitors health counters that count total requests in and total requests out for a client accessing a network-attached storage device via the protocol service. The high priority recovery thread determines a category of health of the protocol service based on the health counters. The mechanism takes corrective action based on the category of health of the protocol service.
