SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POLICY-BASED MULTIPATH WAN TRANSPORTS FOR IMPROVED QUALITY OF SERVICE OVER BROADBAND NETWORKS
An approach is provided whereby multiple broadband connections operate together to provide a highly available secure private networking solution. Data packets of a communications flow are received by a networking device, for transmission to a remote destination node, over a wide area data communications network. A service classification is determined for the data flow. A sequence number is generated for each data packet, where the sequence numbers indicate an order by which the data packets are received. An indication of the service classification and the sequence number is added to each data packet. For each data packet, a transport policy is determined that indicates one or more VPN tunnels through which the data packet is to be transmitted, where the determination of the VPN tunnels is based on the service classification, and wherein each VPN tunnel is carried over a respective WAN transport of the wide area data network.
CYBER PHYSICAL SYSTEM
A cyber physical system including at least one monitoring and safety device for monitoring various parameters of a machine with regard to the maintenance of setpoint values and for generating an error signal in the event of an error and a hard-wired interface to the Internet and a transmission and/or reception unit for transmitting and/or receiving data over the Internet, wherein the monitoring or safety device is connected to the transmission and/or reception unit for transmitting the error signal over the Internet. The hard-wired interface is connected to a controllable switch for physical disconnection and enabling of the connection between the cyber physical system and the Internet, and the cyber physical system has at least one control unit connected to the monitoring or control device for triggering the controllable switch for brief enabling of the connection between the cyber physical system and the Internet.
METHOD FOR AND SYSTEM OF VEHICLE-CARRIED AUDIO AND VIDEO TRANSMISSION, VEHICLE-CARRIED TERMINAL AND SERVER
The present disclosure discloses a method for and system of vehicle-carried audio and video transmission, a vehicle-carried terminal and a server. The method comprises the following operations: the vehicle-carried terminal acquiring an audio and video transmission request transmitted by the user, establishing a connection with the server through a plurality of physical links according to the audio and video transmission request, receiving a plurality of audio and video data packets transmitted by the server, merging the plurality of audio and video data packets into one audio and video data stream and decoding the audio and video data stream and outputting the decoded audio and video data stream.
System to interface internet protocol (IP) based wireless devices with subtasks and channels
A method and apparatus in which multiple Internet Protocol (IP) based wireless data transmissions are simultaneously provided between a wireless device and a server, including providing multiple antennas, multiple T/R units, multiple processors and multiple I/O ports on the wireless device. The method includes receiving multiple IP data packets on the I/O ports at substantially the same time, and sending multiple data packets from the wireless device to the server, whereby the transmission rate between the wireless device and the server is increased.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FACILITATING EXTENSION OF FIBER NETWORKS
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, systems and methods for identifying a first subscriber device that operates as a fiber connection extension control point, where the first subscriber device is connected to a fiber network via a wired connection, based on the identifying and a first subscription agreement, providing a predetermined fiber connection resource to the first subscriber device, identifying a group of neighbor subscriber devices located proximate to the first subscriber device within a predetermined threshold, slicing the predetermined fiber connection resource into multiple segments, and distributing, via the first subscriber device, the multiple segments to the identified group of neighbor subscriber devices. Other embodiments are disclosed.
