Adaptive signaling for network performance measurement, access, and control

Systems and methods are provided for initiation, use, access, and control of functionality of a network. In one aspect, the systems and methods can be utilized to generate information defining signaling or control performance and operational characteristics associated with the functionality in a variety of network environments. In another aspect, based on such information, adaptive signaling can be utilized to monitor, analyze and detect specific signaling signatures associated with the functionality. Managing signaling or control messages in response to information collected by monitoring and analyzing the adaptive signaling permits originating or requesting the functionality without conventional operation of a network component.

A remote sensor interface is co-located with the plurality of remote sensors. The remote sensor interface includes a communication bus having a plurality of nodes to transmit data from the plurality of remote sensors. A plurality of subsystems are each adapted to receive data from the plurality of remote sensors simultaneously and in real time via the remote sensor interface. A remote sensor data acquisition method for an aircraft includes sensing one or more parameters onboard the aircraft via a plurality of remote sensors and transmitting sensor data from the plurality of remote sensors to a plurality of subsystems independently and in real time via a remote sensor interface.

Gateway device determining whether or not received frame is appropriate

A gateway device for a vehicle network system installed in a vehicle is provided. The vehicle network system includes a network, an electronic control unit connected to the network, and the gateway device connected to the first network and configured to communicate outside the vehicle. The gateway device receives a first frame from outside the vehicle; determines whether or not the first frame is appropriate; generates a second frame when the first frame is not determined to be appropriate; and transmits the second frame to the network. The second frame includes control information and additional information based on content of the first frame. The control information restricts processing of the additional information included in the second frame by the electronic control unit, after the second frame is received by the electronic control unit.

A network configuration apparatus configures a closed network constructed independently for each user in an open network as a cloud LAN, generates an access point for accessing the cloud LAN assigned to each of a plurality of terminals that belong to a user using the cloud LAN. A user information management apparatus selects an access point assigned to a connection terminal accessing the cloud LAN via a mobile data transfer network, and notifies the connection terminal of the access point selected. An address management apparatus delivers an address for the connection terminal to access the cloud LAN in response to a request from the connection terminal.

Virtual private cloud flow log event fingerprinting and aggregation

Techniques for fingerprinting and aggregating a virtual private cloud (VPC) flow log stream are provided. Each VPC flow log event in the VPC flow log is first determined to be a request event or a response event. A fingerprint is then generated for each VPC flow log event. The fingerprint for a VPC flow log event is generated based on the determination whether the VPC flow log event is a request event or a response event and by concatenating and encoding data contained in a set of data fields corresponding to the VPC flow log event. Based on the fingerprint generated for each VPC flow log event, related events can be detected and aggregated to form an aggregated event. Information stored with each aggregated event can then be used to better monitor the VPC.

Disclosed is a vehicle-mounted relay device that relays data flowing through a vehicle-mounted network mounted in a vehicle, including a control unit that controls processing relating to relaying of the data, wherein the control unit derives a threshold relating to a state of the vehicle-mounted network, and determines, based on the derived threshold, whether or not there is an abnormality in the vehicle-mounted network.

Switch device, monitoring method and monitoring program

A switch device includes: a switch unit configured to relay an Ethernet frame between a plurality of function units installed in a vehicle; a monitoring unit configured to monitor predetermined data in the Ethernet frame; and a specification unit configured to specify a protocol being used by a target function unit which is a function unit serving as a transmission source of the Ethernet frame, based on a monitoring result of the monitoring unit. The monitoring unit performs an operation monitoring process of selectively monitoring an operation of the target function unit according to the target protocol that is the protocol specified by the specification unit.

Distance vector negative southbound topology information for routing in fat trees (RIFT) route

In one embodiment, a method is performed. A spine node in communication with a network may determine a subtree of a shadow cone of the spine node. The subtree may comprise a plurality of nodes and a plurality of links connecting pairs of the nodes. The spine node may determine a disaggregated route to a first leaf node to which a disaggregated prefix may be attached. The disaggregated route may be propagated to the plurality of the nodes of the subtree.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

One aspect of the present invention is a communication device including: a first control unit that converts, when data including partial data obtained by fragmenting a user frame and a user frame is received via a passive optical network, the partial data into data that is not discarded in a transmission line through which the user frame is transmitted, and transmits the data through the transmission line through which the user frame is transmitted; and a second control unit that receives the data via the transmission line through which the user frame is transmitted from the first control unit, converts the received data into a user frame that is transmittable through the passive optical network, and transmits the user frame via the passive optical network.
