SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE, SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to a signal processing device, a signal processing method, and a program capable of reducing influence of crosstalk.
Provided are: a plurality of comparators; a delay unit adapted to delay output of each of the plurality of comparators; and a subtractor adapted to subtract, from a supplied signal, a signal from the delay unit. The signal processing device processes signals transmitted in N phases and includes (N−1) or more comparators. Each of the plurality of comparators has a different threshold value set and compares a received signal with the threshold value, and in a case where the signal transitions between a plurality of voltage levels, the threshold value is set to a value within adjacent voltage levels. The present technology can be applied to a reception device that receives a signal transmitted in multiple phases and via multiple lines.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING RESPONSIVENESS IN EXCHANGING FRAMES IN A WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK
A method and system for improving responsiveness in exchanging management and control frames in a wireless local area network are disclosed. An initiator sends a frame (action frame, management frame, CSI frame, control frame, or data frame) to a responder. Upon correctly receiving the frame, the responder sends a response frame to the initiator instead of directly sending an acknowledgement (ACK) packet. The responder preferably accesses the wireless medium to send the response frame in a short inter-frame spacing (SIFS). With this scheme, a long delay associated with having to contend for the wireless medium to send the response frame is avoided and therefore, the responsiveness and timeliness of the feedback mechanism is significantly enhanced. The response frame may be piggybacked on or aggregated with another packet.
Signal processing device, signal processing method, and program
The present technology relates to a signal processing device, a signal processing method, and an electronic device that reduce the influence of crosstalk. In one example, a signal processing device includes a plurality of comparators; a delay unit adapted to delay output of each of the plurality of comparators; and a subtractor adapted to subtract, from a supplied signal, a signal from the delay unit. The signal processing device processes signals transmitted in N phases and includes (N-1) or more comparators. Each of the plurality of comparators has a different threshold value set and compares a received signal with the threshold value, and in a case where the signal transitions between a plurality of voltage levels, the threshold value is set to a value within adjacent voltage levels. In a second example, a reception device that receives a signal transmitted in multiple phases and via multiple lines.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, TRANSMITTING STATION DEVICE AND RECEIVING STATION DEVICE
According to the present invention, a transmitting station apparatus includes: a plurality of modulation units that modulates a plurality of streams into which transmission data is divided to generate a plurality of first data signals; a training signal generation unit that generates a known training signal; a linear equalization unit that linearly equalizes the plurality of first data signals using a tap coefficient for removing inter-antenna interference and inter-symbol interference and outputs second data signals on which transmission beam forming and equalization are simultaneously performed; and a plurality of transmitting station communication units that transmit the training signal or the second data signals to a receiving station apparatus and receive the tap coefficient from the receiving station apparatus, and a receiving station apparatus includes: a coefficient estimation unit that estimates a channel impulse response from the training signal and calculates the tap coefficient based on the channel impulse response; and a receiving station communication unit that receives the second data signals or the training signal and transmits the tap coefficient calculated by the coefficient estimation unit to the transmitting station apparatus.
WIRELESS DEVICES AND SYSTEMS INCLUDING EXAMPLES OF MISMATCH CORRECTION SCHEME
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication are described. Input data for in-phase branch/quadrature branch (I/Q) imbalance or mismatch may be compensated for or non-linear power amplifier noise may be used to generate compensated input data. In some examples, a transmitter may be configured to transmit communications signaling via a first antenna, the transmitter including a filter configured for digital mismatch correction; a receiver may be configured to receive communications signaling via a second antenna; and a switch may be configured to selectively activate a first switch path to couple the transmitter and the first antenna and a second switch path to couple the receiver and the transmitter to provide communications signaling received via the transmitter as feedback for the filter through the receiver.

A method for transmitting a reference signal in a multi-antenna system is provided. The method includes: selecting at least one orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol in a subframe containing a plurality of OFDM symbols; allocating a channel quality indication reference signal (CQI RS) capable of measuring a channel state for each of a plurality of antennas to the selected at least one OFDM symbol; and transmitting the CQI RS, wherein the CQI RS is allocated to an OFDM symbol which does not overlap with an OFDM symbol to which a common reference signal to be transmitted to all user equipments in a cell or a dedicated reference signal to be transmitted to a specific user equipment in the cell is allocated.
ERROR DETECTION AND CHECKING IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
A device capable of operating in a wireless communication environment. The device may be configured to determine a plurality of control signaling bits. The device may determine a plurality of cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits based on the plurality of control signaling bits. The device may apply a channel coding scheme to the plurality of control signaling bits and the plurality of CRC bits. The plurality of CRC bits may be distributed among the plurality of control signaling bits prior to applying the channel coding scheme. The device may transmit the channel coded plurality of control signaling bits and CRC bits.

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for calculating an EVM of a transmitter. One apparatus includes a processor and a receiver that receives a signal via a propagation channel from an antenna port at a transmitter, the antenna port comprising multiple antennas and with an antenna connector for each antenna. The processor measures the received signal using an unbiased linear MMSE equalizer and calculates an EVM of the antenna port, where the EVM is calculated as 100 times the square root of the mean square error of the symbol estimate at the output of the unbiased linear MMSE equalizer.
MITIGATION OF TRANSMISSION ERRORS OF QUANTIZED CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION FEEDBACK IN MULTI ANTENNA SYSTEMS
Methods are disclosed for improving communications on feedback transmission channels, in which there is a possibility of bit errors. The basic solutions to counter those errors are: proper design of the CSI vector quantizer indexing (i.e., the bit representation of centroid indices) in order to minimize impact of index errors, use of error detection techniques to expurgate the erroneous indices and use of other methods to recover correct indices.
