NR broadcast channel transmission
The disclosure relates to a method performed by a wireless device, for receiving system information from a network node of a wireless communication system. The system information is received in a synchronization signal (SS) block of an SS burst set comprising at least one SS block. The system information is multiplexed with information providing a time index indicating which SS block of the SS burst set that is being received. The method comprises receiving the information providing the time index, and receiving the system information, which comprises descrambling the system information using a scrambling sequence generated based on the information providing the time index. The method also comprises determining an accuracy of the information providing the time index, based on an error-detection code related to the received system information. The disclosure also relates to corresponding network node method and apparatus.

Signal processing device and associate equalization circuit and signal processing method
A signal processing device for a receiver includes: a descrambler, descrambling an input signal to generate a descrambled signal; a phase recovery circuit, performing phase recovery according to the descrambled signal to generate a phase recovered signal; an equalization module, performing equalization according to the phase recovered signal to generate an equalized signal; and a decoder, decoding the equalized signal to obtain data included in the input signal.

Unique word (UW) based multiple access signal acquisition technique
A communications terminal comprises an encoder configured to encode a digital data signal to generate an encoded signal, a scrambler configured to scramble the encoded signal based on a scrambling signature, and a modulator configured to modulate resulting data frames for transmission via a random access communications channel. Each frame comprises a data payload, including a block of the scrambled signal, and a header, including a start of frame (SOF) sequence associated with the scrambling signature. Use of the SOF sequence for each frame provides a synchronization reference and serves to designate the associated scrambling signature for decoding the respective data payload. Use of the SOF sequence for each frame further serves to distinguish between the data frame and data frame(s) originating from further communications terminal(s), transmitted via a common time slot of the channel, for which different scrambling signature(s) were used to scramble respective encoded signal(s) thereof.
Data Scrambling Method and Scrambling Apparatus
A data scrambling method and a scrambling apparatus, where the method includes a scrambling apparatus scrambling a data stream including a first data block and a second data block. The first data block and the second data block may belong to a same sub-data stream, or may belong to different sub-data streams. A specification of the data stream when the first data block and the second data block belong to a same sub-data stream is different from a specification of the data stream when the first data block and the second data block belong to different sub-data streams, and the scrambling apparatus can scramble data streams of different specifications.
Dynamic shift in output of serial and parallel scramblers and descramblers
Methods, systems are provided for reconfiguring the position of a first tap in a descrambler circuit LFSR after the LFSR has been trained and synchronized with a corresponding scrambler circuit LFSR. A data path from the second tap position to the descrambler output by-passes logic elements located in the data path from the first tap to the descrambler output, thereby reducing delay in the descrambler circuit after the reconfiguration (i.e., the lock-shift operation). The tap position change may be communicated by a mode manager to a corresponding scrambler circuit, for applying a matching reconfiguration in the scrambler circuit, either directly via an I/O line or indirectly. The indirect route includes in-band transmissions between two ICs with two sets of self-synchronizing scrambler/descrambler pairs, and is based on monitored receiver LFSR output signals that indicate when a scrambler/descrambler pair is synchronized or whether the output of a descrambler circuit comprises descrambled data.

Data processing method and apparatus
The present application discloses a data processing method and apparatus. The technical solutions of the present application include: coding received data; distributing the coded data to multiple PCS lanes; and performing self-synchronizing scramble separately for multiple data streams distributed to the multiple PCS lanes, where the multiple data streams are in a one-to-one correspondence with the multiple PCS lanes. The technical solutions provided by the present application may be used to reduce occupied logical resources during a data processing process at a physical layer.
