Communication apparatus and communication method
The present disclosure provides a method of generating codebook in a wireless communication system with multiple antenna arrays, as well as a wireless communication system, base station and terminal using the codebook for communication. The method comprises steps of: providing a basic codebook which contains multiple pre-coding matrices; and assigning phase offsets to certain pre-coding matrices in the basic codebook to form a codebook with phase offset. The feedback overhead from a client to a base station side is reduced and a good precision of feedback for multi-antenna array is kept by applying the method of generating codebook and using the generated codebook in the wireless communication system, base station and terminal.
Measurement method, and apparatus
The present application discloses a measurement method and an apparatus, so that a measurement result meets a CoMP requirement while feedback overheads are reduced. The measurement method includes: sending, by a first network device, a restricted channel state information CSI measurement instruction to a second network device, where the restricted CSI measurement instruction is used to instruct the second network device to perform restricted CSI measurement; and receiving, by the first network device, CSI sent by the second network device, where the CSI is generated after the CSI measurement is completed based on the CSI measurement instruction.

Millimeter-wavelength network map for use in a beamforming procedure
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network server may configure a base station for beamforming communications based on a service type of data used by a user equipment (UE). The network server may determine the service type of the data based on position data of the UE, along with other statistical information related to data usage. The position information may include global position system (GPS) information, gyroscope information, accelerometer information, or information related to the UE's subarray geometry. The base station may receive the position information from the UE and convey it to the network server. The network server may use the position information to generate a network map and to identify the service type of communication.

Uplink access method, apparatus, and system
The present application provides a method for a terminal device to transmit uplink service data to a base station. The terminal device obtains uplink service data from a user input in a service session. The terminal device obtains a codebook from a preset codebook set of the terminal and a pilot sequence corresponding to the codebook. The terminal device generates an uplink data signal according to the codebook and the uplink service data, and generates a pilot signal corresponding to the pilot sequence. The terminal device transmits the uplink data signal and the pilot signal to the base station.
Interference avoidance for beamforming transmissions in wireless communication devices and systems
A first wireless communication device includes transceiver circuitry to access data corresponding to a beamforming transmission, transmit, from the first wireless communication device to at least one second wireless communication device, a first sounding packet, and receive, from the at least one second wireless communication device, at least one second sounding packet. The second sounding packet includes channel feedback determined at the at least one second wireless communication device. Processor circuitry is to determine a steering matrix based on the channel feedback. The steering matrix is configured to at least one of reduce and avoid interference caused at the at least one second wireless communication device by transmissions from the first wireless communication device. The transceiver circuitry is further to perform the beamforming transmission to at least one third wireless communication device in accordance with the data corresponding to the beamforming transmission and the steering matrix.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
A communication apparatus comprises a generator that generates frequency resource position information corresponding to a first information which is based on the communication quality information received from user equipments, the frequency resource position information indicating validity or invalidity of the first information for each frequency resource, and a transmitter that transmits the first information, the frequency resource position information and a cell ID which the frequency resource position is applied, to another communication apparatus via a backhaul.

Signal spreading techniques for non-orthogonal multiple access wireless communications
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which different spreading sequences may be used to distinguish concurrent non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) transmissions. The spreading sequences may be selected based on one or more codebooks configured at a user equipment (UE) and a codebook for an uplink NOMA transmission determined based on a set of common resources allocated for the uplink NOMA transmission and a number of expected transmitters in a transmitter group. The UE may identify data to transmit in the uplink NOMA transmission, apply the spreading sequence to the data, and transmit the spread data in the uplink NOMA transmission. A base station may receive multiple concurrent uplink NOMA transmissions, perform receive signal processing to identify spreading signals and UE identity, de-spread the signals based on different spreading sequences, and demodulate and decode the de-spread signals of the NOMA UE.
