RADIO NETWORK NODE, WIRELESS DEVICE AND METHODS THEREOF USING GMSK MODULATION APPLYING NEGATIVE MODULATION INDEX
A radio network node comprised, and a wireless device configured to be operative, in a wireless communication system. The radio network node obtains downlink data and converts it to a baseband signal. The conversion comprises Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) modulation of the downlink data. The modulation applies a negative modulation index selected based on a type of wireless device that is a target for the downlink data. A radio signal is provided based on the baseband signal and sent to, and received by, the wireless device that provides user data based on the radio signal.
Millimeter-wave modulation device
Provided is a lower power and high efficiency millimeter-wave modulation apparatus capable of modulating digital data into transmitting signals in a millimeter frequency band, the millimeter-wave modulation apparatus including; a modulation part, which carries out a modulation of a constant envelope attribute, and to which a first local oscillation signal is fixed according to a rate of input data; a phase shifter adopted to shift a phase of an output of the modulation part; a power amplifier adopted to amplify an output of the phase shifter; and an antenna connected to an output of the power amplifier.
Data processing for automatic modulation classification of wireless signals
Systems and methods for classifying a modulation scheme of a wireless signal are described. In some embodiments, a system receives a wireless signal modulated based on a modulation scheme having a constant modulus. The system can generate a resampled signal from the wireless signal based on features extracted from the wireless signal and perform blind equalization on the resampled signal based on a constant modulus criterion to generate an equalized signal. Then, the system can cause a modulation classifier to classify the received wireless signal to a modulation scheme from a plurality of predetermined modulation schemes based on the equalized signal. By preconditioning the wireless signal to reduce feature variability imparted by a propagation channel onto the wireless signal, the system can increase the classification accuracy of the modulation classifier.
Method and sensor bus system
A method for transmitting data in a sensor bus system and a sensor bus system. The sensor bus system includes an electronic controller, a plurality of sensors, and a twisted two-wire line between the electronic controller and the sensors, wherein the electronic controller is designed to supply electrical energy to the sensors via the twisted two-wire line, and the sensors are designed to transmit received information to the electronic controller in an I/Q-modulated manner via the twisted two-wire line.
Power Modification of Transmitted Symbols
A wireless transmitter mitigates the effect of nonlinearity in power amplifiers. The wireless transmitter obtains symbols encoding data to transmit wirelessly, and determines a total power to transmit the symbols. Each symbol includes a respective magnitude correlated to the power to transmit that data symbol. The wireless transmitter generates transformed symbols by applying a transformation to the symbols that lowers a Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) for the transformed symbols by adjusting the respective magnitude of at least one transformed symbol. The wireless transmitter also generates rescaled symbols by adjusting the respective magnitude of each transformed symbol by a scaling factor, and transmits the rescaled symbols. The scaling factor preserves the total power to transmit the plurality of symbols.
