METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A MULTITENANCY TELEPHONE NETWORK
A method and system for operating a multitenancy telephony system including a call queue that stores call requests received from a plurality of users; an expandable and contractible telephony resource cluster that establishes call sessions for call requests; a analysis system that calculates capacity requirements of the system; a resource allocator that manages the scaling and operation of the telephony resource cluster; and a plurality of telephony network channels that are used as telephony communication channels for call sessions.
Device and method for providing mobile internet call service
There are provided a device and method for providing a mobile Internet call service. In order to reduce a call waiting time for an mVoIP call, when a call is an initial call after power of a terminal is turned on or using the main call number, information for a call connection is acquired in advance and a light weight session is maintained. When the mVoIP call is made later, the maintained light weight session is used to make a direct P2P call. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a call connection time. As a result, when the mVoIP call attempt is made, a call waiting time is significantly reduced and thus it is possible to provide a rapid response and improve user satisfaction. When the light weight session is maintained, access to a separate server system is not performed. As a result, it is possible to connect a P2P call even when call traffic is heavy.
WEBRTC API REDIRECTION WITH INTERCEPTION TECHNIQUES
A computing system includes a server to execute a first portion of a real-time media application so as to integrate with other desktop applications and other operating system functionality, and to redirect intercepted APIs of the real-time media application based on redirection code injected into the real-time media application so that a second portion of the real-time media application is redirected. A client computing device communicates with the server, and executes the redirected second portion of the real-time media application. The redirected second portion of the real-time media application corresponds to real-time media processing and networking off-loaded from the server to the client computing device.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING AN ADDRESS BY DEVICE TO BE MANAGED OF A NETWORK
The invention provides a provision method performed by a managed device (CPE4) of a first network (R1) to provide an address to a management device (ACS4) for managing the managed device and situated in a second network (R2), the address enabling the management device to request the establishment of a management session with the managed device, there being at least one intermediate device (CGN5) situated between the first and second networks, the method comprising: identifying a server (6) suitable for controlling the intermediate device; sending a request to the server to cause the intermediate device to set up static routing to the managed device to enable packets received by the intermediate device and addressed to a reachability address associated by the intermediate device with the managed device to be conveyed to a contact address of the managed device; receiving a response from the server including the reachability address; and providing the management device with an address including the reachability address for use by the management device to request the setting up of a management session with the managed device.
Enabling vertical application layer server for peer-to-peer media parameter negotiation
A method, computer program, and computer system for enabling peer-to-peer media streaming using service enabler architecture layer (SEAL). The method may be executed by one or more processors, and the method may include receiving, by a vertical application layer (VAL) server, a request for a media session negotiation between one or more client devices, and retrieving, by the vertical application layer (VAL) server, transport layer information associated with each of the one or more client devices using network address translation traversal. The method may further include transmitting, by the vertical application layer (VAL) server, agreed session description protocol (SDP) parameters based on the transport layer information, wherein the agreed session description protocol (SDP) parameters are used to establish a peer-to-peer media streaming session.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING THE USE OF IP ADDRESSES
The present invention relates to communications methods, apparatus and systems for efficiently managing NAPT bindings and mappings. An exemplary embodiment of operating a communication system includes the steps of (i) receiving, at a real-time communications entity, a media session offer from a device, (ii) transmitting, from the communications entity to a Network Address and Port Translation entity (NAPT), a request signal to allocate a public Internet Protocol (IP) address and port number pair corresponding to an interface on the NAPT for the session; (iii) determining, at the communications entity, a remote IP address and port number pair corresponding to an interface on the device to be used for communicating media of the media session; (iv) transmitting, from the communications entity to the NAPT, a signal identifying the determined remote IP address and port number pair; and (v) releasing, at the NAPT, the allocated public IP address and port number pair.
Call set-up systems
A call set-up system sets up a call, which may be a voice call, between terminals through a plurality of packet switched networks using call agents. The networks are interconnected by network address translation (NAT) devices, and the messages to successive call agents include media addresses in the associated networks for the actual data packets of the call when it has been set up. The call set-up message includes the media address sent to at least some preceding call agents enabling NAT resources to be saved. The call agents can be incorporated into NAT devices, and the media addresses can be encrypted or in the form of a reference.
REGISTRATION OF SIP-BASED COMMUNICATIONS IN A HOSTED VOIP NETWORK
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for implementing a registrar component or functionality in a telecommunications network. In one implementation, the registrar functionality is handled at a Session Border Controller (SBC) or Network Address Translation (NAT) Traversal Manager (NTM) device of the network to alleviate an application server of the network from performing the registration function.
WEBRTC API REDIRECTION WITH ALTERNATIVE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY STEERING
A computing system includes a virtual desktop server and a client computing device. The virtual desktop server is within an enterprise and includes a real-time media application to provide real-time communications (RTC) for peer-to-peer networking, and a native RTC engine to execute a portion of the real-time media application when received by the native RTC engine. An API code redirection module redirects intercepted APIs of the real-time media application intended for the native RTC engine so that the portion of the real-time media application is redirected away from the native RTC engine to a client RTC engine in the client computing device. The portion of the real-time media application being redirected includes provisioning information directed to a media server. A network edge appliance associated with a branch within the enterprise provides alternative network connectivity options for the peer-to-peer networking.
WEBRTC API REDIRECTION WITH INTERCEPTION TECHNIQUES
