Device and method for interconnecting two subnetworks
An interconnection device for interconnecting two sub-networks, on which UPnP devices are connected: determines actual IP addresses and port numbers of servers of the UPnP device; allocates a port number to each server, establishes a connection with a UPnP device of the femtocell and a connection with a UPnP device of the local area network; replaces, in frames received via one of said connections, each actual server IP address and port number allocated by the interconnection device to said server; and replaces, in frames received via one of said connections, each actual IP address and port number with an IP address of the interconnection device to said server; and replaces, in said received frames, each IP address of the interconnection device and port number allocated by the interconnection device to a server with the IP address and port number of the corresponding server.
Gateway for remote direct memory access over converged ethernet
A system, switch device, and method of operating a switch device are provided. An illustrative system is disclosed to include a first router block configured to receive a first type of Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) packet, a second router block configured to receive a second type of RDMA packet, and a gateway positioned between the first router block and the second router block. The gateway may be configured to translate the first type of RDMA packet received from the first router block for transmission as the second type of RDMA packet by the second router block.

System and Method for Improving Content Fetching by Selecting Tunnel Devices
A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The tunnel device is selected based on an attribute, such as IP Geolocation. A tunnel bank server stores a list of available tunnels that may be used, associated with values of various attribute types. The tunnel devices initiate communication with the tunnel bank server, and stays connected to it, for allowing a communication session initiated by the tunnel bank server. Upon receiving a request from a client to a content and for specific attribute types and values, a tunnel is selected by the tunnel bank server, and is used as a tunnel for retrieving the required content from the web server, using standard protocol such as SOCKS, WebSocket or HTTP Proxy. The client only communicates with a super proxy server that manages the content fetching scheme.

Data Communication Method and Terminal
A data communication method, where a first device receives a request message from at least one second device, where the request message requests the first device to forward group data, and the request message carries a group identifier. The first device returns a response message to the at least one second device, where the response message carries a layer-2 address and an Internet Protocol (IP) address corresponding to the group identifier, and the first device sends the group data using the layer-2 address when receiving the group data sent by a third device to the IP address.
IN-BAND MANAGEMENT INTERFACE WITH USER SPACE DATAPATH
A method of utilizing the same hardware network interface card (NIC) in a gateway of a datacenter to communicate datacenter tenant packet traffic and packet traffic for a set of applications that execute in the user space of the gateway and utilize a network stack in the kernel space of the gateway. The method sends and receives packets for the datacenter tenant packet traffic through a packet datapath in the user space. The method sends incoming packets from the NIC to the set of applications through the datapath in the user space, a user-kernel transport driver connecting the kernel network stack to the datapath in the user space, and the kernel network stack. The method receives outgoing packets at the NIC from the set of applications through the kernel network stack, the user-kernel transport driver, and the data path in the user space.
Method and apparatus for connection management
In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method, comprising receiving in an apparatus a first message from a second apparatus located in a different domain as the apparatus, the first message comprising a logical name of the second apparatus and a first global address, receiving a second message from a third apparatus, the second message comprising a second global address, and determining whether the first and second global addresses are the same address, or where the first and second global addresses are IPv6 addresses, whether they belong to the same network, and responsive to the first and second global addresses being the same address, or in the case of IPv6 belonging to the same network, causing transmission of information comprising at least one of a logical name and a local address of the second apparatus to the third apparatus.
Automated IPv4-IPv6 Selection for Voice Network Elements
A computing device, such as a mapping application server, may track data associated with a plurality of user devices, such as an Internet Protocol version. A system, such as an IMS system, may use may use the data associated with the plurality of user devices to process messages. When messages between devices are received, the computing device may provide information regarding at least one protocol associated with a communication. The computing device may respond to queries from various network elements. The responses may provide data that may be used to identify a protocol version, such as a Name Authority Pointer (NAPTR). Any necessary protocol interworking may be provided by the system.
