Routing Incoming Calls Made To One Or More Unreachable Numbers Into A Data Client
A method and a call routing system (CRS) are provided for routing an incoming call made to one of multiple numbers of a user to a call receiving client application (CRCA) deployed on one or more user devices when the called number is not reachable. The CRS, in communication with the CRCA deployed on one or more user devices, sets up a user account using one or more of the user's multiple numbers. The CRS detects availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over a data network to accept an incoming call. The CRS receives the incoming call made to one of the numbers, when the called number is not reachable. The CRS routes the incoming call to the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network on detecting the availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network.
PERHIPHERAL DEVICE SHARING OVER PEER-TO-PEER CONNECTION
Disclosed is a computing system capable of performing a method that involves receiving, from a first device, a first indication that a peripheral device associated with the first device is available for sharing; sending, to a second device, a second indication that the peripheral device is available for sharing; receiving, from the second device, a request to access the peripheral device; and based at least in part on receipt of the request, causing a peer-to-peer connection to be established between the second device and the first device, the peer-to-peer connection enabling communication between the second device and the peripheral device. The peer-to-peer connection may, for example, enable direction of the peripheral device to the second device so that the peripheral device is a virtual device of the second device.
Network System and Method for Establishing Data Link by Using Relay Node
A network system includes a server, a first node, a second node, and a plurality of relay nodes. The first node is linked to the server for transmitting data. The second node is linked to the server for receiving data. Each relay node of the plurality of relay nodes is linked to the server for relaying data. When the first node and the second node belong to a configuration of network address translation type 3, a relay node is selected from the plurality of relay nodes. A first data link is established between the first node and the relay node. A second data link is established between the second node and the relay node.
System and method for geographic SIP scaling
A system and method for scaling a session initiation protocol communication system that allows components of the system to be distributed and/or scaled across multiple and different hardware, networks, systems, and locations.
WebRTC API redirection with interception techniques
A computing system includes a server to execute a first portion of a real-time media application so as to integrate with other desktop applications and other operating system functionality, and to redirect intercepted APIs of the real-time media application based on redirection code injected into the real-time media application so that a second portion of the real-time media application is redirected. A client computing device communicates with the server, and executes the redirected second portion of the real-time media application. The redirected second portion of the real-time media application corresponds to real-time media processing and networking off-loaded from the server to the client computing device.
Method of IMS (SIP network) webRTC optimized P2P communication
A WebRTC system, device and method enabling a P2P communication when both ends of a communication are WebRTC enabled devices. The system and devices also enable a WebRTC client to SIP device communication. A SIP interworking function is configured to receive a SDP1 from an originating WebRTC and obtain local media information from a media interworking function. The first SIP interworking function is configured to create a SDP2 based on the SDP1 and the local media information, create a SIP message comprising a message-body field including the SDP2 and an SIP extension header field including the SDP1, and send the SIP message to an IMS or SIP server.
Relay optimization using software defined networking
Various embodiments provide a system for modifying a channel binding in order to relay packets between a relay client and a peer in a peer-to-peer (P2P) communication event across a network. A relay server receives a request to bind a channel in order to relay the packets for the communication event. The relay server creates requirements for a communication path. The relay server sends the requirements to a Software Defined Networking (SDN) controller. The SDN controller in turn creates and installs flows and flow tables in SDN switches to relay the packets across the network for the communication event.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR NETWORK ADDRESS TRANSLATION (NAT) TRAVERSAL USING A MEET-IN-THE-MIDDLE PROXY
Systems and methods for bypassing firewalls using a server management protocol is provided. In various embodiments, a proxy component serves as a “man-in-the-middle” between an edge client and a server client. The proxy component can receive a server connection request from the edge client to connect to a requested server client using a managed network name associated with the server client. The proxy component can establish a proxy connection with the requested server client, and routing data packets between the server client and the edge client. The edge client and the server client are connected without the public advertisement of the private addresses of the edge client and the server client.
REMOTE CONTROLLED INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEMS
Provided is a process that controls an information display system (IDS) using a mobile computing device associated with a user by establishing a connection between the mobile computing device and the IDS, and transmits input events, such as touch events, on the mobile computing device to a server associated with the IDS, which further transmits the touch events to the IDS for performing one or more operations in the IDS responsive to the touch events.
OVER THE TOP NETWORK TRAFFIC CLASSIFICATION
A system and method is disclosed to transform Over-The-Top (OTT) call log data collected by telecommunications network operators into a peer-to-peer log in order to determine more accurate information. In this method the IP addresses in the call log records are compared to a list of known mediator server IP addresses and the records in the log that contain mediator server IP addresses are removed from the log to create a peer-to-peer log containing only those records that contain peer IP addresses. The data in the peer-to-peer log can then be categorized with confidence to determine network performance information as well as, for example, the percentage of traffic to a particular country. Conclusions may then be inferred regarding the removed data records based upon the data found in the peer-to-peer log.
