Persistence based on server response in an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS)

Embodiments are directed towards managing persistence of network traffic using deep packet inspections of network response packets from an application server. In one embodiment, the network packets are associated with SIP messages. A traffic management device (TMD) interposed between client devices and a plurality of application servers receives messages from the client device and/or the application servers. The TMD performs a deep packet inspection to determine if a defined key value pair that includes a session identifier is detected. If so, and the message is from the application server, the session identifier is then mapped to an application server identifier to persistently refer each subsequent inbound packet from a client device having the same session identifier to the application server mapped to the session identifier.

SIGNAL GENERATING METHOD, SIGNAL GENERATING UNIT, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM

One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a signal generating method for generating a visible light signal. A signal generating method includes: a step SD11 of determining, as a method for transmitting a visible light signal from a transmitter, one of a single-frame transmitting method for transmitting data as one frame and a multiple-frame transmitting method for transmitting the data while dividing the data into a plurality of frames; a step SD12 of, when the multiple-frame transmitting method is determined, generating partition type information indicating a type of data to be transmitted, and generating combination data by adding the partition type information to the data to be transmitted; a step SD13 of generating the plurality of frames each of which includes each of a plurality of data parts by dividing the combination data into the plurality of data parts; and a step SD14 of generating the visible light signal by adding a preamble to a head of each of the plurality of frames.

Methods for managing workloads in a storage system and devices thereof

The present technology relates to managing workload within a storage system. A quality of service parameter proposal associated with managing incoming network traffic is generated and provided to a plurality of nodes. The generated quality of service parameter proposal to manage the incoming network traffic is modified based on a response received from the nodes. The incoming network traffic is serviced using the data from the modified quality of service parameter proposal.

System and Method for a Dynamic Mobile Web Server Fallback

A relay server is coupled to a URL database within an open firewall. First and second Internet devices are configured for communication with the relay server and include respective first and second websites behind closed firewalls, wherein the second website is operative as a “fallback” website to the first website. A web browser on a client Internet device is connected to the relay server. The relay server is provided with software to facilitate communication between the web browser and the first Internet device website so that if the first Internet device website goes offline, the relay server will connect the web browser to the fallback website on the second Internet device.

Load-Balanced, Persistent Connection Techniques

Techniques for creating a persistent connection between client devices and one or more remote computing resources, which may form a portion of a network-accessible computing platform. This connection may be considered “permanent” or “nearly permanent” to allow the client device to both send data to and receive data from the remote resources at nearly any time. In addition, both the client device and the remote resources may establish virtual channels over this single connection. If no data is exchanged between the client device and the remote computing resources for a threshold amount of time, then the connection may be severed and the client device may attempt to establish a new connection with the remote computing resources.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CLOUD AWARE APPLICATION DELIVERY CONTROLLER
20170230451 · 2017-08-10 ·

The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods of managing cloud-based services via a network. A controller intermediary to clients and servers of a cloud environment can receive account information related to each of a plurality of instances of one or more services provided by the servers of the cloud environment. The controller can determine a weight for each of the instances based on the account information. The weight can indicate a performance of the instance of the service provided via the cloud environment. The controller can select an instance of the plurality of instances to direct network traffic from a client. The controller can select the instance based on the weight for each of the instances.

METHOD FOR ADVERTISING AVAILABILITY OF DISTRIBUTED GATEWAY SERVICE AND MACHINES AT HOST COMPUTER

Some embodiments of the invention provide a novel network architecture for advertising routes in an availability zone (AZ). The novel network architecture includes a set of route servers for receiving advertisements of network addresses as being available in the AZ from different routers in the AZ. The novel network architecture also includes multiple host computers that each execute a router that (i) identifies network addresses available on the host computer, (ii) sends advertisements of the identified network addresses to the set of route servers, and (iii) receives advertisements from the set of route servers regarding network addresses available on other host computers. The identified network addresses, in some embodiments, include at least one of network addresses associated with data compute nodes (DCNs) and network addresses associated with services available at the host computer. The route servers advertise the received network addresses to other routers in the AZ.

Specification-guided migration

A conformance checker is received on a system that contains hostable content, and is executed. One or more results provided by the conformance checker are evaluated; and the hostable content is migrated to a destination host in accordance with the evaluating step.

Method and system for distributing load by redirecting traffic

Disclosed is a system for servers to redirect client requests to other servers in order to distribute client traffic among the servers. A client is assigned to a server although the client may be unaware of that assignment. When the client accesses a server, a server possibly identified to the client by a name service, the server checks the client's assignment. If the client is not assigned to this server, then in some scenarios this server redirects the client to its assigned server. The client responds by sending its request to the assigned server. In other scenarios, the first server accessed by the client proxies the client's traffic to the assigned server. A database is kept of client-to-server assignments. If the present load distribution is less than ideal (e.g., clients are assigned to an unavailable server), then the assignment database is updated to reflect how the load should be distributed.
