Signal generating method, signal generating unit, and non-transitory recording medium storing computer program
A signal generating method for generating a visible light signal is provided. The method includes determining, as a method for transmitting a visible light signal from a transmitter, one of a single-frame transmitting method for transmitting data as one frame and a multiple-frame transmitting method for transmitting the data while dividing the data into a plurality of frames. The method further includes, when the multiple-frame transmitting method is determined, generating partition type information indicating a type of data to be transmitted, and generating combination data by adding the partition type information to the data to be transmitted. Further, the method includes generating the plurality of frames each of which includes each of a plurality of data parts by dividing the combination data into the plurality of data parts, and generating the visible light signal by adding a preamble to a head of each of the plurality of frames.
Systems and methods for determining a destination location for transmission of packetized data in a network system based on an application server attribute
Various embodiments are described herein for systems and methods that can be used to determine a destination location in a network fabric. In one example embodiment, the method comprises receiving an application server attribute at a fabric controller from a source port, generating at the fabric controller a destination location based on the application server attribute and mapping information stored on the fabric controller, and transmitting the destination location to the source port, where the source port transmits packetized data to a destination location based on the destination location.
Energy product instant rebate engine
Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed for providing instant rebates before a transaction is completed. This involves ingest of customer and rebate data from two or more utilities, where the data is parsed and normalized into a standard format across all of the utilities. The customer data is then stored in an accounts database, while the rebate data is further processed along with utility rebate rules to determine a set of rebate eligibilities for a variety of scenarios. The resulting rebate profiles can be stored in a rebates database and linked to corresponding customer account data in the accounts database. Third-party frontends can then request rebate eligibility based on a customer identifier and retail channel, and various services can work in tandem to query the rebated database and return a set of eligibilities with so little latency that the eligibility check appears instant from a customer's standpoint.
ROUTING FOR LARGE SERVER DEPLOYMENTS
In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method comprising: receiving a first request from a client device; generating a plurality of uniform resource locators (URLs), each of the plurality of URLs comprising an encoded representation of a network address associated with a respective node from a plurality of nodes in a computer cluster; sending a first response to a client device, the first response comprising the plurality of URLs; receiving a second request from the client device, the second request comprising a first URL from the plurality of URLs; determining the second request should be routed to a first network address based on decoding the first URL, the first network address associated with a first node from the plurality of nodes; and forwarding the second request to the first node in response to the determining.
MIGRATION OF DURABLE CLIENTS IN A CLUSTERED PUBLISH/SUBSCRIBE SYSTEM
Migration of a durable client in a publish/subscribe system from a first server of a cluster to a second server of the cluster. The method comprises the second server receiving subscription information of the durable client; the second server establishing a message queue for the durable client; the second server sending a switch command to all active servers of the cluster; in response to the second server obtaining, from an active server, an acknowledgement of the switch command, the second server inserting a marker to the message queue indicating switching point of the active server; and in response to the second server obtaining, from the first server, a message indicating the first server flushed all messages prior to respective switching points for all active servers, connecting the durable client to the second server and transmitting messages thereto by the second server. As a result, the durable client is migrated from the first server to the second server without disrupting data traffic to uninvolved clients.
INSTANT REBATES FOR DEMAND RESPONSE ENROLLMENT AND CLAWBACKS
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing instant rebates before a transaction is completed. This involves ingest of customer and rebate data from two or more utilities, where the data is parsed and normalized into a standard format across all of the utilities. The customer data is then stored in an accounts database, while the rebate data is further processed along with utility rebate rules to determine a set of device and demand response rebate eligibilities for a variety of scenarios. The resulting rebate profiles can be stored in a rebates database and linked to corresponding customer account data in the accounts database. Frontends can then request rebate eligibility based on a customer identifier and retail channel, and various services can work in tandem to query the rebated database and return a set of eligibilities with so little latency that the eligibility check appears instant from a customer's standpoint.
