ACCESS CONTROL AND OWNERSHIP TRANSFER OF DIGITAL CONTENT USING A DECENTRALIZED CONTENT FABRIC AND LEDGER
20220210061 · 2022-06-30 ·

Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized content fabric. In some implementations, one or more processors are configured to provide fabric nodes of an overlay network, including one or more fabric nodes that receive a client's request to access digital content on the overlay network. The request includes an authorization token digitally signed by or on behalf of a user of the client. The fabric node(s) extract a user identifier (ID) from the authorization token, then determine that one or more rules maintained on the overlay network are satisfied. The one or more rules condition access to the digital content upon the extracted user ID matching an ID associated with an owner of a digital instrument. The digital instrument, which can be a non-fungible token, is stored in a blockchain ledger as a unique representation of the digital content.

Disclosed is a sharding block chain generation method based on a tree structure. Method comprises: dividing a server system into at least one group, and respectively selecting a leader of each group; packaging to generate at least one block by leader according to an own local database state, and broadcasting at least one block to all members of group in which leader is located; verifying consistency of at least one block, executing block according to a verification result of consistency, and synchronizing block to other groups. According to method, by means of tree grouping architecture, efficiency of generating block by a block chain framework is improved, block is generated according to own local database state of the leader, a resource waste phenomenon when block is generated in system is reduced, and delay when the block is generated is reduced.

METHOD FOR PLAYING ON A PLAYER OF A CLIENT DEVICE A CONTENT STREAMED IN A NETWORK
20220191260 · 2022-06-16 ·

The present invention relates to a method for playing on a player of a client device a content streamed in a network comprising a peer-to-peer network of client devices, including: (a) receiving from the player a request for a current segment at a first quality level; (b) determining, as a function of at least one parameter representative of a capacity of said peer-to-peer network, a second quality level; (c) estimating an optimal response delay such that providing the requested current segment at the expiration of said optimal response delay will cause the player to request according to its ABR logic a next segment at said second quality level, as a function of a model predicting the ABR logic of the player; (d) providing the requested current segment from the first buffer at the expiration of said estimated optimal response delay.

Resource sharing method, device and system

Provided are a resource sharing method, device and system. The method includes: establishing, by a cloud desktop system based on a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), links with multiple terminals; and acquiring, by the cloud desktop system, resources of the multiple terminals through the links, and sharing the acquired resources to the multiple terminals.

Information Processing Device and Information Processing System

A client terminal and a server system having a plurality of processing units processing game applications are connected to each other via a network. In a game system as a cloud computing system, the server system makes the client terminal wait for a start of processing of an application when there is no processing unit assignable to the client terminal. When the processing unit becomes assignable, the client terminal displays a screen inquiring whether to start the processing of the application. When a user does not respond for a predetermined time, the server system takes action.

Methods and Apparatus for Internet of Things Resource Management

Methods, Internet of Things (IoT) devices and network nodes for network resource management, the method in the IoT comprising: initiating a device shutdown procedure; and triggering the sending of a device shutdown message to a network node.

Dynamic resource movement in heterogeneous computing environments including cloud edge locations

Techniques for dynamic resource movement in heterogeneous computing environments including provider substrate extensions are described. A dynamic resource movement service of a provider network monitor conditions of heterogeneous computing environments, including provider substrate extensions of the cloud provider network, to evaluate customer-provided movement policy conditions governing when to move customer application resources from these environments, where to move the resource to, and/or how to move the customer application resources. The customer-provided movement policy conditions may be based on a variety of factors, such as a latency between end-users of the customer application and the application itself.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MINIMIZING NETWORK BANDWIDTH RETRIEVED FROM AN EXTERNAL NETWORK

A system and method are provided of minimizing network bandwidth used from an external network by client peers in a local network. The method can include the operation of organizing a plurality of clients each having media streamlets and a client parent in a structure within the local network. Mapping information propagates through the structure. The mapping information represents local streamlet locations as stored by the plurality of clients. Another operation is retrieving a local streamlet from a client identified in the mapping information as having the local streamlet for the requesting client.

Adjusting parameters of a transmission in response to interference

Methods and apparatuses for determining whether to perform transmissions or receptions. A method for a user equipment (UE) to determine whether to perform the transmissions includes receiving a n for a search space set for receptions of physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) according to a common search space (CSS) and receiving a PDCCH that includes a downlink control information (DCI) format. The method includes determining a set of time resources and a set of frequency resources based on an indication in the DCI format and canceling a transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS) in time resources from the set of time resources based on determining that the SRS transmission would include frequency resources from the set of frequency resources. The method includes transmitting a physical uplink control channel in time resources from the set of time resources and in frequency resources from the set of frequency resources.

Edge sharing orchestration system

A network device includes a processor and a memory. The processor effectuates operations including instantiating an edge share orchestrator that identifies edge devices including a customer device. Edge share orchestrator also determines that the customer device lacks computing power or functionality to perform at least a portion of an existing or augmented service and identifies at least one additional device of the edge devices capable of providing additional computing power or functionality for performing the at least a portion of the existing service or augmented service associated with the customer device. Edge share orchestrator also meshes the additional computing power or functionality of the at least one additional device with the customer device and performs the at least a portion of the existing or augmented service associated with the customer device using the meshed additional computing power or functionality of the at least one additional device and the customer device.
