Methods, apparatuses and systems for cloud-based disaster recovery are provided. The method, for example, includes receiving, at a cloud-based computing platform, first internet protocol (IP) information relating to a first network environment associated with a server used by a client machine; translating the first IP information, without having to interpose a camouflage layer into the first IP information, and generating second IP information based on the translated first IP information, the second IP information used for creating a second network environment for the server; creating the second network environment for the server; and deploying the server in the created second environment.
Systems and methods for communication routing and optimization among multiple distributed ledgers
Systems and methods for communication routing among a plurality of distributed ledgers are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a distributed ledger routing engine comprising at least one computer processor, a method may include: (1) registering a plurality of participants, each participant associated with at least one distributed ledger; (2) storing identifying information for each of the participants, the identifying information identifying the at least one distributed ledger that the participant is associated; (3) receiving, from a messaging entity, a message for one of the participants; (4) identifying, from the identifying information, the distributed ledger with which the participant is associated; and (5) routing the message to a messaging service for the identified distributed ledger. The messaging service may write the message to its node in the identified distributed ledger.
Content delivery to physically-proximate devices using a mesh-assisted cache
A plurality of WiFi-enabled devices that are physically proximate to one another form an ad hoc mesh network, which is associated with an overlay network, such as a content delivery network. A typical WiFi device is a WiFi router that comprises addressable data storage, together with control software operative to configure the device seamlessly into the WiFi mesh network formed by the device and one or more physically-proximate devices. The addressable data storage across multiple such devices comprises a distributed or “mesh-assisted” cache that is managed by the overly network. The WiFi mesh network thus provides bandwidth that is leveraged by the overlay network to provide distribution of content, e.g., content that has been off-loaded for delivery (by content providers) to the CDN. Other devices that may be leveraged include set-top boxes and IPTV devices.
Blockchain-based property management
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for blockchain-based property management are described herein. According to a first embodiment of the disclosure, a plurality of computing systems may be established at a plurality of points along a supply chain associated with the manufacture, shipment, and sale of a physical property item. At each of the plurality of points, the plurality of computing systems may identify data corresponding to the physical property item, which may be stored on a blockchain associated with a decentralized peer-to-peer (e.g., P2P) network. According to a second embodiment of the disclosure, content creator computing devices may transmit digital property item upload requests to a digital property management computing device, which may generate smart contracts corresponding to the requests. Through execution of the smart contracts, access may be granted to digital property items and fees may be provided to the content creator computing devices.
Reconciliation of data stored on permissioned database storage across independent computing nodes
Reconciliation and subscription-model permissions of data stored across independent ledger instances of a database. A system includes a resource manager coupled to a plurality of client accounts. The system includes an execution platform and a shared permissioned ledger comprising independent processing and storage nodes for executing data operations for the plurality of client accounts. The resource manager defines a settlement group comprising one or more client accounts and authenticates an observer node associated with the settlement group. The resource manager assigns ingested data an encryption level on a key hierarchy based on content of the ingested data.
METHOD FOR TRANSMISSION DATA AND APPARATUS FOR EXECUTING THE METHOD
A computing device according to an embodiment includes one or more processors, a memory in which one or more programs to be executed by the one or more processors are stored, a network information manager configured to transmit a peer-to-peer (P2P) network information of the computing device and network quality information at the time of connection of the computing device to a management server, and a network monitor configured to generate network quality information by measuring a network quality at the time of connection of the computing device.
DECENTRALIZED CONTENT FABRIC
Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized content fabric. In some implementations, one or more processors are configured to execute a software stack to define a fabric node of a plurality of fabric nodes of an overlay network situated in an application layer differentiated from an internet protocol layer. The defined fabric node is configured to: obtain a request for digital content from a client device; obtain, from one or more of the plurality of fabric nodes, a plurality of content object parts of a content object representing, in the overlay network, at least a portion of the digital content; generate consumable media using: raw data stored in the content object parts, metadata stored in the content object parts, and build instructions stored in the content object parts; and provide the consumable media to the client device. In some instances, the consumable media is further generated using a digital contract stored in a blockchain.
System and method for implementation of a distributed data flow-based framework
A system for implementing for implementing a distributed data flow framework. A controller creates a flow configuration file for at least one runtime. A distributed data flow deployment subsystem deploys one or more nodes and one or more interconnecting wires of the at least one runtime. A flow neighbour identification subsystem identifies one or more flow neighbours associated with the at least one runtime, determines a publisher and subscriber service information for each of the one or more flow neighbours. A bridge wire identification subsystem identifies one or more socket roles and a unique identification number corresponding to each of the one or more flow neighbours, enables the at least one runtime to establish a transmission control protocol connection with each of the one or more flow neighbours directly, implements one or more bridge wires with the at least one runtime and the one or more flow neighbours.
Newnode: decentralized content distribution network
A method and apparatus of a device that downloads content to a local device using a decentralized content distribution network is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives a request from an application to download content using the decentralized content distribution network. In addition, the device determines a plurality of nodes in the decentralized content distribution network to download the content. For each of the plurality of nodes, the device attempts to establish communications between the device and that node. In addition, the device downloads a portion of the content from that node if communication is established between the local device and that node, wherein the size of the portion is based on at least a characteristic of that node. Furthermore, the device downloads a portion of the content from a proxy if communication cannot be established between the local device and that node, wherein the size of the portion is based on at least a characteristic of that proxy.
