An electronic device according to various embodiments of the disclosure may include: a first housing including a first conductive portion, a first non-conductive portion, and a first segmented portion extending from the first conductive portion, a second housing configured to accommodate at least a portion of the first housing and to guide a slide movement of the first housing, the second housing including a second conductive portion, and a flexible display including a first area connected to the first housing and a second area extending from the first area and configured to be bendable or rollable, wherein, from a slide-in state to a slide-out state of the first housing with respect to the second housing, the first conductive portion and the second conductive portion may be spaced apart from each other, and in the slide-in state of the first housing with respect to the second housing, at least a portion of the first non-conductive portion may overlap the second conductive portion.

Disclosed is an electronic device, including: a housing, which is provided with an opening; a functional module retractable into the housing or extendable out of the housing through the opening; and a driving mechanism, which is arranged in the housing. The driving mechanism includes a driving source, a lead screw, a nut set, and a caliper. The driving source is drivingly connected to the lead screw. The nut set includes a fitting part, and the fitting part is threadedly fitted with the lead screw. A first end of the caliper is in position-limiting fit with the fitting part, and a second end of the caliper is fixedly connected to the functional module. The cross-sectional shape of the fitting part is a polygon.

In an example, a display device includes a rollable display including a display side and an opposite non-display side. The rollable display includes a conductive material with a pattern disposed on the non-display side. The device includes a housing configured to house the rollable display and configured to roll in and roll out the rollable display along a first direction, and a capacitive sensor including a transmitter and a receiver electrode disposed within the housing and configured to sense the pattern.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise: a display which can be expanded or reduced; at least one sensor; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: identify whether an input is received; based on identifying that an input has been received, identify whether the display is expanded or reduced within a given period of time, using the at least one sensor; and based on identifying that expansion or reduction of the display is started within the given period of time, execute a specified function corresponding to the identified input.

An electronic device and method of preventing deterioration by an operation of an antenna are provided. The electronic device includes a display configured to be folded and unfolded, and provide content, a sensor configured to detect a state change of the display, an antenna configured to transmit and receive an electromagnetic wave, and at least one processor electrically connected to the display, the sensor, and the antenna, in which the at least one processor is configured to detect a state change of the display by using the sensor, identify one or more operating electronic circuitry among electronic circuitries in the electronic device, determine an electronic circuitry in which deterioration is caused by an operation of the antenna among the one or more operating electronic circuitry, based on the state change of the display, and deactivate a certain beam among beams generated by the antenna to reduce deterioration of the determined electronic circuitry.

An electronic device including a detection sensor is disclosed. The electronic device may include: a housing structure including a first housing and a second housing movably coupled to the first housing in a moving direction, a flexible display supported by the first housing and the second housing, and having a size of a display area visible at a front surface of the housing structure configured to change based on relative movement by the second housing with respect to the first housing, a detection sensor including a first electrode and a second electrode disposed side by side, and a dielectric disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and configured to detect a change in the size of the display area, and a processor.

The disclosure relates to an electronic device including a flexible display for screen recording, and a method thereof. The electronic device may include: a memory, a display module including a flexible display, and at least one processor electrically coupled to the memory and the display module. The at least one processor may be configured to: record a screen of the display displayed in an visible area of the display in a reference screen size, based on a screen size of the visible area being changed by extension or contraction of the display during the recording, control the display module to display an object to which a visual effect related to at least one content displayed on the screen is applied, in part of the visible area corresponding to the changed size, and in response to completion of the extension or contraction of the visible area of the display during the recording, control the display module to display an extended or contracted screen in an extended visible area or a contracted visible area.

An example electronic device may include a housing, a flexible display, wherein at least a portion of the flexible display which is positioned in the housing is configured to be exposed to an outside of the housing as the housing slides, a speaker, and a processor operatively connected with the speaker and the flexible display. The processor may be configured to control the speaker to output a first sound at a first volume value while a state of the housing is a normal state, identify a size of a first area of the flexible display exposed to the outside, based on a first slide of the housing to change the state of the housing to an extended state, and control the speaker to output the first sound at a second volume value higher than the first volume value based on a size of the first area while the state of the housing is the extended state.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing in which a rack being configured to guide sliding of the first housing is disposed, a flexible display including a first area and a second area extending from the first area and configured to be bendable or rollable, a motor disposed on the first housing and configured to be capable of sliding relative to the second housing, the motor being configured to transmit a driving force to a gear configured to rotationally move along the rack, and a first electrical component disposed in the first housing and configured to be capable of sliding together with the motor, wherein the motor may be disposed not to overlap the second area of the flexible display.
