A volume adjustment method is provided. The method is applied to a terminal device. In the method, a screen of the terminal device in a first physical form receives first input information of a volume adjustment region; a volume of the terminal device is adjusted based on the first input information; the screen changes from the first physical form to a second physical form, where the first physical form is different from the second physical form; and the volume adjustment region adapts to the second physical form to automatically change in location; second input information of the volume adjustment region is received in the second physical form; and the volume of the terminal device is adjusted based on the second input information.

DISPLAY SCREEN POSITION SENSING USING INDUCTIVE SENSING

A method and a system may inductively determine a position of a display screen of a computing device. Associated processes may generate a magnetic field by providing an alternating current to a driver coil, and may generate a voltage at a sensor coil in response to the magnetic field. The system and method may additionally include determining a position of the display screen by executing an algorithm at a processor. An input to the algorithm may include voltage data associated with the voltage generated at the sensor coil.

Electronic Device Having Foldable Screen and Display Method

An electronic device having a foldable screen, where when the foldable screen is in a folded state, the foldable screen is divided into a primary screen and a secondary screen. When a first component disposed on the primary screen is in a working state, or an application that invokes the first component is in the working state, when a screen switching event is detected, the electronic device is prohibited from switching to a state in which only the secondary screen performs display, to avoid a case in which a user is close to the primary screen but the primary screen does not perform display.

Antenna Configuration for a Foldable Device

Techniques for antenna configuration for a foldable device are described and may be implemented via a wireless device to adapt to a variety of different wireless scenarios. For instance, configuration of an antenna system of a wireless device is adapted to optimize wireless performance in different physical configurations, such as open configurations and folded configurations. Generally, the described techniques optimize performance in different frequency bands based on changes in device configuration between open positions and folded positions.

The state detection apparatus includes: at least one connection assembly, including a first component and a second component, the first component and the second component being electrically conductively coupled or decoupled correspondingly according to a motion state of the folding screen; and a detection assembly electrically coupled to the connection assembly, and configured to detect a state of electrical conduction connection or disconnection between the first component and the second component and determine a state of the folding screen according to the state of electrical conduction connection or disconnection between the first component and the second component.

Electronic Devices and Corresponding Methods for Modifying Voice Coil Motor Drive Signals in Response to Influencing Magnectic Fields from Device Operating Conditions
20220159170 · 2022-05-19 ·

A method in an electronic device includes determining, with one or more processors, an operating condition of the electronic device influencing one or more magnetic fields measured by a voice coil motor sensor of the electronic device. The method inlcudes obtaining, by the one or more processors from a memory of the electronic device, an expected voice coil motor sensor measurement that is a function of the operating condition. Thereafter, the method includes causing, by the one or more processors, a voice coil motor driver to modify a voice coil motor drive signal until the voice coil motor sensor detects the expected voice coil motor sensor measurement, thereby compensating for effects of the operating condition affecting the voice coil motor.
