The system and method of the present invention may allow a calling party to make a called party to be aware of its intention to establish a call session with it in one or more ways. According to the present invention a calling party may be automatically offered alternatives to voice session or may be allowed to change the silent mode of the called party to a non-silent mode or may be allowed to address a query to a third party via the called party or may be automatically offered to re-establish a connection with a called party if it was disconnected by the called party in error.

A tool for contacts management and automated calling. The tool displays, by one or more computer processors, a contact page for adding a contact, wherein the contact page includes at least one conditional flow statement field. The tool program prompts, by one more computer processors, to configure the at least one conditional flow statement field. The tool saves, by one or more computer processors, the contact based on the at least one control flow statement field. The tool initiates, by one or more computer processors, an automated call to the contact based, on the at least one conditional flow statement field. The tool applies, by one or more computer processors, the at least one conditional flow statement field to the automated call to the contact.

A method comprising receiving information indicative of an incoming communication, determining a notification that signifies the incoming communication, causing rendering of the notification, receiving information indicative of a point of interest selection input that identifies a selected point of interest, and causing performance of a location response action associated with the incoming communication, based at least in part, on the selected point of interest is disclosed.

According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a user may receive various information via a personal electronic device (PED), based in part on the individuals or contacts with whom the user associates and based in part on the activities, events, or locations with which the user has affiliated. In certain embodiments, the user may receive notifications to the user's PED without preselecting contacts, activities, events or locations. In other embodiments, the user may receive notifications relating to any one of the contacts, activities, events or locations that the user has preselected. Systems and associated methods for implementing and practicing the present disclosure are also described.

A computerized system and related method for assisting a user with placing a telephonic call, comprising a user interface, computerized processing, and computerized storage for: a user specifying an originally-specified telephone number to place an intended telephonic call, which telephone number, as originally-specified, for at least one particular reason, cannot be used to successfully complete the intended telephonic call; the user, after specifying the originally-specified telephone number, later specifying later-specified telephone number elements, including the possible deleting or ignoring of part of the originally-specified telephone number; and causing the telephonic call to be successfully signaled using the originally-specified telephone number in combination with the later-specified telephone number elements, without the user having to re-specify the originally-specified telephone number.

The present invention includes systems, methods, circuits and associated software for managing communications from a mobile device to other parties and retrieving and managing data stored on the mobile device and associated with the communications to other parties. The systems and methods of the present invention may further allow a calling party to make a called party to be aware of its intention to establish a call/communication session with it in one or more ways. According to the present invention a calling party may be automatically or manually offered alternatives to voice or other communication session. Further, many communication alternatives and other data for a party may be stored and organized in a local memory of a device and may be updated based on data retrieved from exterior sources, possibly from third party data storages accessed over a distributed data network, such as the internet.
