In a portable terminal device, it is possible to display information of caller and the like when a call is received. Incoming call signal reception means (11) receives an incoming call signal including a caller number, caller information, and ring type information. Image generation means (12) generates, based on the incoming call signal, a caller information image including at least a portion of the caller information as character information. Telephone dictionary registering means (13) registers the caller number, caller text information, and the caller information image in a telephone dictionary (14). Incoming call screen display means (15) receives the caller number and acquires the registered caller text information and the caller information image corresponding to the received caller number from the telephone dictionary (14). Incoming call screen display means (15) displays an incoming call screen including the caller text information and the caller information image.

A communication terminal and a method of providing a unified natural language interface to the same are disclosed. The method includes: determining, when text information containing many characters is created, whether the text information conforms to one of preset grammatical constraints; extracting, when the text information conforms to one of the grammatical constraints, tokens of one or more of characters from the text information, and extracting, when the text information does not conform to one of the grammatical constraints, one or more characters having an attribute probability higher than a reference probability as a token; and analyzing the extracted tokens to determine a function to handle the extracted tokens, and executing the determined function based on the extracted tokens.

An example method of suggesting contacts in a communications routing system includes: routing, via a routing engine, communications events between a communications device and a plurality of further communications devices coupled to the communications routing system as VoIP calls using respective VoIP telephone numbers; storing, for a user account associated with the communications device, a contact database representing VoIP telephone numbers stored in a contact tracking application of the communications device; storing, in the contact database for the user account, a log of communications events including a record for each new telephone number; and when the record for a new telephone number satisfies a threshold condition, providing a prompt, at the communications device, to add the new telephone number to the contact tracking application.

The present disclosure provides a method for adding contact information, and user equipment. The method includes: receiving gesture information input by a user on a communication interface of an instant messaging application, recognizing contact information in communication information according to the gesture information, and adding the contact information to an address book of user equipment.

Systems and methods for automated contact updating based on content communications are disclosed herein. A rule is retrieved from a rules database, the rule defining criteria for identifying contact-related data within a content item electronically communicated from a source account to a destination account. Based on the rule, the contact-related data is identified within the content item. In response to identifying the contact-related data within the content item, a contact database is automatically searched, based on the contact-related data, for a contact entry that corresponds to the source account. Based on the contact related data, a determination is made as to whether the contact entry should be updated. In response to determining that the contact entry should be updated, the contact entry is updated in the contact database based on the contact-related data.

Systems and methods for automated contact deletion based on content communications are disclosed herein. Based on a content item electronically communicated from a source account to a destination account, a contact deletion trigger is generated to define a criterion for deleting a contact entry that identifies the source account and is stored for the destination account in a contact database. Based on the contact deletion trigger, a determination is made as to whether the criterion for deleting the contact entry has been met. In response to determining that the criterion for deleting the contact entry has been met, the contact entry is automatically deleted from the contact database.

One embodiment provides a data processing method including: acquiring a first identity information inputted by a user; inquiring, based on the first identity information, a second identity information corresponding to the first identity information in a second information list different from a first information list; acquiring, based on the second identity information, a second communication code corresponding to the second identity information, wherein the second communication code is used for the first device to initiate a voice communication connection or a data communication connection to a second device corresponding to the second communication code. A method for automatically saving an unknown number in a mobile phone includes comparing a telephone number being answered or dialed with numbers in an address book, and determines whether the telephone number is an unknown number. If yes, conversation content is monitored, and keywords of the conversation content are extracted after the call is successfully connected. After the call ends, a user is prompted whether to save, if yes, the keywords are arranged in order for the user to select.

A method and system are disclosed. An active application, which is an application other than a phone application and an address book application, displays information. A selection is received of an information portion from within the displayed information, the information portion being other than a telephone number. Based on determining the pressing of the call-initiation key while the information portion is selected, and based on accessing contact information stored within the address book application without opening or displaying the address book application, a detected contact entry stored by the address book application is determined where the detected contact entry includes the information portion. A target telephone number associated with the detected contact entry is determined based on determining the detected contact entry. A call to the target telephone number is placed.
