ENABLING STEREO CONTENT FOR VOICE CALLS
Disclosed are systems and methods to modify the Bluetooth mono HFP protocol to support bi-directional stereo operation for high bandwidth audio including 12-KHz wide-band, 16-KHz super wide-band (SWB), and 24-KHz full band (FB) audio. The techniques leverage the larger packet size and longer duty cycle of the 2-EV5 transport packet and expand the block size of the audio frames generated by the AAC-ELD codec to increase the maximum data throughput from the 64 kbps of the mono HFP protocol to 192 kbps using a stereo HFP protocol. The increased throughput not only supports stereo operations, but allows the transport of redundant or FEC packets for increased robustness against packet loss. In one aspect, the AAC-ELD codec may be configured for dynamic bit rate switching to flexibly perform trade-offs between audio quality and robustness against packet loss. The stereo HFP may configure the maximum throughput based on the desired audio quality.
RING-SHAPED EARPHONE
A ring-shaped earphone may be configured to be worn in an ear. When not worn in the ear, the ring-shaped earphone may be conveniently stored on a finger. In one example, the ring-shaped earphone may include a ring-shaped body defined by an outer cylindrical surface and an inner cylindrical surface. The earphone may include a speaker within the ring-shaped body. The speaker may be configured to project sound through a speaker opening in the outer cylindrical surface. The earphone may include a microphone within the housing. The microphone may be configured to receive sound through a microphone opening in the inner cylindrical surface.
Method and system for headset with wireless auxiliary device
In one example, an apparatus comprises a headset and an auxiliary device. The headset includes a first microphone to detect first egress audio signals and a speaker to output ingress audio signals received wirelessly from a mobile device. The auxiliary device includes a container to hold the headset, as well as a second microphone to detect second egress audio signals. In a first operation mode, one of the headset or the auxiliary device can transmit wireless signals including the first egress audio signals to the mobile device. In a second operation mode, one of the headset or the auxiliary device can transmit wireless signals including the second egress audio signals to the mobile device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD FOR PERFORMING COMMUNICATION CONNECTION WITH PERIPHERAL DEVICE
An electronic device may include a first housing, a second housing, at least one wireless communication circuit, and at least one processor. When the electronic device is in the first form, the at least one processor may establish a wireless communication connection with a first peripheral device mapped to the first form using the at least one wireless communication circuit, and obtain that the electronic device changes from the first form to the second form using the at least one sensor, and in response to changing to the second form, establish a wireless communication connection with a second peripheral device mapped to the second form using the at least one wireless communication circuit. In addition to this, various embodiments understood through the specification are possible.
SPATIAL AUDIO MONAURALIZATION VIA DATA EXCHANGE
A device includes a memory configure to store instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to obtain spatial audio data at a first audio output device. The one or more processors are further configured to perform data exchange, between the first audio output device and a second audio output device, of exchange data based on the spatial audio data. The one or more processors are also configured to generate first monaural audio output at the first audio output device based on the spatial audio data.
SYSTEM OF PROCESSING DEVICES TO PERFORM AN ALGORITHM
A system comprising a plurality of processing devices is arranged for performing an algorithm having a plurality of computational tasks. The plurality of processing devices are interconnected with each other. A control logic module is adapted to select an implementation of the algorithm among a plurality of implementations. At least a part of the control logic module resides in one of the processing devices and the implementation is selected according to at least one criterion of (latency requirements, computational power, resource availability, data locality, privacy requirements, precision requirements, hardware capabilities, distance, location, acoustical performance requirements, energy efficiency, orientation) and in the selected implementation the plurality of computational tasks of the algorithm is distributed over at least two of the processing devices.
WIRELESS HEADSET
A wireless headset includes a first wireless transceiver module, an account processing module, a session control module, a headset module, and a network communication processing module. The first wireless transceiver module is configured to implement data transmission between the wireless headset and a wireless base station via a first wireless communication protocol. The network communication processing module is configured to process a registration instruction sent by the account processing module to obtain a registration request, and send the registration request to the first wireless transceiver module. The first wireless transceiver module sends the registration request to the wireless base station. The network communication processing module is further configured to forward session control data sent by the session control module and media data of the headset module to the first wireless transceiver module.
HEADSET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a headset communication system. The headset communication system comprises: a bone conduction headset, comprising a first Bluetooth module; an intercom device, comprising a first external interface; an external communication module, comprising a second external interface and a second Bluetooth module. The external communication module is detachably provided in the intercom device and being coupled to the intercom device by means of the first external interface and the second external interface, and the bone conduction headset and the intercom device perform Bluetooth pairing by means of the first Bluetooth module and the second Bluetooth module so as to establish a Bluetooth connection.
Bluetooth Communication Method and Apparatus
A BLUETOOTH communications system includes a true wireless stereo (TWS) BLUETOOTH headset and a terminal device, where the TWS Bluetooth headset includes a first earbud and a second earbud. The terminal device controls the first earbud to collect a sound signal and the second earbud to play a sound signal. When an audio application on the terminal device is started, the first earbud collects a first sound signal, performs sound effect processing on the first sound signal to obtain a second sound signal, and sends the second sound signal to the second earbud. The terminal device sends accompaniment audio to the second earbud, and the second earbud performs audio mixing processing on the accompaniment audio and the second sound signal for playing.
BLUETOOTH RECONNECTION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
This application discloses a Bluetooth reconnection method, and relates to the field of short-range wireless communications technologies. The method includes: When a charging case is closed, a first earbud breaks a Bluetooth connection, where the first earbud stores a Bluetooth address of a terminal and a Bluetooth address of a second earbud. When the charging case is opened, the charging case accommodates only the first earbud, and a first preset condition is met, the first earbud sends a first paging request to the second earbud based on the Bluetooth address of the second earbud. The first preset condition is that the Bluetooth connection includes a Bluetooth connection between the first earbud and the second earbud. In this way, reconnection duration of the first earbud when the charging case is opened can be reduced.
