ACCESSORY DEVICES OF AN OSTOMY SYSTEM, AND RELATED METHODS FOR COMMUNICATING LEAKAGE STATE
The present disclosure provides a method, performed in an accessory device, for communicating a leakage state of an ostomy appliance, wherein the accessory device comprises an interface configured to communicate with one or more devices of an ostomy system, the one or more devices comprising a monitor device, and/or the ostomy appliance configured to be placed on a skin surface of a user. The method comprises obtaining monitor data from the one or more devices, the monitor data being indicative of presence of fluid at a proximal side of a first adhesive layer of the ostomy appliance towards the skin surface; determining a leakage state at the proximal side of the first adhesive layer of the ostomy appliance based on the monitor data, and communicating the leakage state of the ostomy appliance via the interface.
Controlling vibration output from a computing device
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for controlling vibrations output by one or more computing devices. A computing device may determine an event, and may also determine, using a noise sensor, an ambient noise level around the computing device. Based on the ambient noise level, the computing device may then select a tactile vibration or an audible sound associated with the event. Also, an intensity level of the vibration or sound may be based on the determined ambient noise level.
LASER PROJECTED WAYFINDING INTERFACE
Systems, methods, devices and non-transitory, computer-readable storage mediums are disclosed for a wearable multimedia device and cloud computing platform with an application ecosystem for processing multimedia data captured by the wearable multimedia device. In an embodiment, a wearable multimedia device determines a plurality of points of interest and, for each of the points of interest, a heading of that point of interest relative to the device, and a distance between that point of interest and the device. The device presents a user interface including a plurality of user interface elements arranged according to one or more curved layers. Each of the user interface elements corresponds to a different one of the points of interest. A position of each of the user interface elements relative to each of the other user interface elements in the user interface is determined based on the first data and the second data.
WIRELESS DATA COMMUNICATION AND POWER TRANSMISSION ATHLETIC APPAREL MODULE
The present disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods that can be used to collect sensor data from, for instance, a sensor device that has been embedded in an article of apparel. The sensor device can be used, for instance, to monitor the athletic activity of an individual wearing the apparel into which the electronic device has been embedded. Embodiments of the sensor device include a memory, a wireless interface, and one or more processor. With these elements, the sensor device may receive instructions indicating what sensor data to collect, collect the sensor data, store the sensor data, and transmit the stored sensor data to the remote device upon completion of the activity.
Controlling Vibration Output from a Computing Device
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for controlling vibrations output by one or more computing devices. A computing device may determine an event, and may also determine, using a camera, an image of the surroundings of the computing device. Based on an analysis of the image, the computing device may then output a tactile vibration, an audible sound, and/or a visual notification associated with the event.
USB-C INTERFACE FOR A SMART DEVICE
The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for connecting an external composite device to a smart device such as a smartphone using a USB connection. The apparatus allows for the creation of a communication interface between an external composite device such as a PTT device and a smart device with a single USB connector. The interface allows the external device to control transmission and reception of digital audio while simultaneously supporting serial data packets being transmitted to control PTT Press and Release (press and hold) from a USBC-Serial connection. The apparatus may be used with both Android and Iphone smart devices.
HEARING DEVICES USING PROXY DEVICES FOR EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION
Embodiments herein relate to hearing device systems that can utilize proxy devices to convey emergency communications. In an embodiment, the system operates in a first communication mode and a second communication mode. The first communication mode can include the hearing device being paired to a wireless communication enabled device for conveying data to a non-local network as initiated by the hearing device. The second communication mode can include the hearing device accessory being paired to the wireless communication enabled device for conveying data to the non-local network as initiated by the hearing device. The system can enter the second communication mode when the hearing device cannot communicate with the wireless communication enabled device. The hearing device accessory uses a hardware address of the hearing device to communicate with the wireless communication enabled device as if it was paired thereto. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Controlling vibration output from a computing device
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for controlling vibrations output by one or more computing devices. A plurality of computing devices may form an ad hoc group using vibration signals. A computing device may suspend generation of a tactile vibration and/or sound as a notification of a received communication or other event.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS MULTI-CALL SUPPORT CAPABILITY ON COMPATIBLE AUDIO DEVICES
A system and method are provided for multi-call communications for audio communication. The system includes one or more control devices (CDs) wherein a target CD is coupled to one HD and other CDs are coupled to a plurality of HDs. The method also includes connecting a first control device (CD) coupled with a first hearing device (HD) to a plurality of call groups, each call group comprising a second CD and a plurality of HDs. The method also includes directing a call channel stream to the first HD coupled to the first CD, the call channel stream selected from the plurality of call groups.
Facemask With Electronic Components
A facemask with electronic components includes a mask body with one or more straps configured to secure the mask body around to the head of a wearer, such that the mouth and nose of the wearer are covered. The electronic components include a power supply operably connected to a microphone, a speaker, a microprocessor, a plurality of LEDs connected to an LED controller, and a wireless transceiver. The wireless transceiver is configured to receive command instructions from a remote device's wireless transceiver. Upon receiving the corresponding command instructions, the microprocessor is configured to cause the plurality of LEDs to illuminate in a desired pattern. Further, the microprocessor is configured to transmit the audio recorded by the microphone either one of or both of the onboard speaker and a remote speaker via the wireless transceiver. The facemask provides protection from airborne contaminants as well as enhanced communication and entertainment features.
