Disclosed is an event detecting method, which is applied to an electronic system with at least one event detecting module. The event detecting method comprises: (a) enabling at least one event detecting module; and (b) applying the event detecting module enabled in the step (a) to detect if any predetermined event occurs in a detecting range of the event detecting module.

A system for facilitating a response to an event notifying signal is disclosed herein. The system comprises: a network monitoring module configured for monitoring signals received over a data network for a presence of one or more event notifying signals indicative of a relevant incident within a geographic area; and an assessment module configured for determining if the relevant incident could impact any persons or property of an enterprise or organization within the geographic area and identifying a first group of people of the enterprise or organization who could be impacted by the relevant incident. The system further comprising the resource response module configured for communicating a response to a computing device associated with each person of the first group of people, where the response provides indication of the relevant incident.

A system for facilitating a response to an event notifying signal is disclosed herein. Systems, devices, and methods including: capturing, by a capture device, an audio and corresponding location metadata associated with an emergency call; refining the location metadata to provide a refined location metadata; correlating, by the capture device, the refined location metadata of the emergency call with a geofenced location of the computing devices of one or more first responders (FRs); screening, by the capture device or the computing device, the emergency call data; transmitting, by the capture device, a first signal to the one or more computing devices based on the correlation, the transmitted signal including a portion of the captured audio and corresponding location metadata; receiving, by the capture device, an accept signal from the one or more computing devices of one or more FRs; transmitting, by the capture device, a second signal to the one or more computing devices based on the received accept signal.

A method and system for detecting an accident of a vehicle, the method including: receiving a movement dataset collected at least at one of a location sensor and a motion sensor arranged within the vehicle, during a time period of movement of the vehicle, extracting a set of movement features associated with at least one of a position, a velocity, and an acceleration characterizing the movement of the vehicle during the time period, detecting a vehicular accident event from processing the set of movement features with an accident detection model, and in response to detecting the vehicular accident event, automatically initiating an accident response action.

A method and system for detecting an accident of a vehicle, the method including: receiving a movement dataset collected at least at one of a location sensor and a motion sensor arranged within the vehicle, during a time period of movement of the vehicle, extracting a set of movement features associated with at least one of a position, a velocity, and an acceleration characterizing the movement of the vehicle during the time period, detecting a vehicular accident event from processing the set of movement features with an accident detection model, and in response to detecting the vehicular accident event, automatically initiating an accident response action.

One or more presence sensors of a vehicle are used to detect the presence of one or more people outside the vehicle. When the presence of the one or more people outside the vehicle is detected, one or more external microphones of the vehicle are used to capture any speech by people. A speech recognizer of the vehicle is used to determine whether the captured speech includes a verbal request for emergency services. And, upon determining that the captured speech includes the verbal request for emergency services, a network access device of the vehicle is used to automatically request emergency services.

Disclosed are various aspects of computer-implemented systems and methods for enhancing safety in real estate transactions. In one aspect a user is provisioned with a real estate mobile application with a safety engine on a mobile computing device. Next, the user enters parameters or the application automatically populates parameters based off at least a safety timer limit, a time extension amount, an emergency contact, a timer authentication code, or an emergency code. Next, a user selects a property and visits, wherein the application initiates GPS tracking and checks the user in. The user's property visits, check in and check out are logged and streamed to a database for verification. If the user fails to check out or respond to the timer authentication code an emergency service is alerted and or the device emits an emergency audible sound.

A system for facilitating automated response to an event notifying signal, the system including a network monitoring module, an assessment module, a resource monitoring module, and a resource response module. The network monitoring module is configured for monitoring signals received over a data network for a presence of one or more event notifying signals indicative of a relevant incident. The assessment module is configured for assessing a response of the one or more event notifying signals and a resource tasked to the response. The resource monitoring module is configured for monitoring a status of a resource tasked to the response of the event notifying signal. The resource response module is configured for communicating the response to the resource tasked to the response.
