One variation of method includes, at a mobile radio: receiving an audio communication from an originating device over a wireless network at a first time; storing the audio communication in local memory; outputting the audio communication, at approximately the first time, at a first volume level set manually by a user associated with the mobile radio prior to the first time; calculating a confidence score that the audio communication was comprehended by the user based on the first volume setting; accessing a priority of the audio communication defined at the originating device; and, in response to a discrepancy between the confidence score and the priority of the audio communication, replaying the audio communication, from local memory, at a second volume setting greater than the first volume setting.

Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for handling audio messages received during audio conversations. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the first user; broadcasting on the mobile application, to the first user, an audio conversation involving a second user and a third user conducted via the mobile application; receiving a first audio message from the first user during the audio conversation involving the second user and the third user; initiating storage of the first audio message; and broadcasting the first audio message during the audio conversation, in response to receiving selection of an option to play the first audio message by the at least one of the second user or the third user.

Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving establishment and broadcasting of communication, including establishing rapid audio conversations. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the first user; determining a second user accesses the mobile application on a second mobile device of the second user; initiating an audio conversation, for a first period, between the first mobile device of the first user and the second mobile device of the second user; and upon termination of the first period, initiating a second audio conversation between the first mobile device of the first user and a third mobile device of the third user unless the first user extends the audio conversation with the second mobile device of the second user.

At least one computer-readable medium on which are stored instructions that, when executed by one or more processing devices, enable the one or more processing devices to perform a method. The method includes the steps of providing a first contact number accessible to an electronic device having an associated second contact number, receiving at the first contact number from a user via the electronic device an identifier of a request for a business transaction, based on the identifier and the second contact number, determining at least one criterion for fulfilling the business transaction, generating a response to the request, the response including a description of the at least one criterion, and transmitting the response to the electronic device.

At least one computer-readable medium on which are stored instructions that, when executed by one or more processing devices, enable the one or more processing devices to perform a method. The method includes the steps of providing a first contact number accessible to an electronic device having an associated second contact number, receiving at the first contact number from a user via the electronic device an identifier of a request for a business transaction, based on the identifier and the second contact number, determining at least one criterion for fulfilling the business transaction, generating a response to the request, the response including a description of the at least one criterion, and transmitting the response to the electronic device.

A computer-implemented information providing method includes: storing, at an information providing apparatus, a plurality of pieces of related information in association with a same identification information in a storage device, wherein each of the plurality of the pieces of the related information is representative of a content of a corresponding one of a series of a plurality of speech voices uttered to a first device; and in response to a request from a second device that receives the identification information, causing, at the information providing apparatus, a communication device to transmit to the second device one or more of the plurality of the pieces of the related information associated with the same identification information.

A computer-implemented information providing method includes: storing, at an information providing apparatus, a plurality of pieces of related information in association with a same identification information in a storage device, wherein each of the plurality of the pieces of the related information is representative of a content of a corresponding one of a series of a plurality of speech voices uttered to a first device; and in response to a request from a second device that receives the identification information, causing, at the information providing apparatus, a communication device to transmit to the second device one or more of the plurality of the pieces of the related information associated with the same identification information.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for providing a user interface for relative device positioning. The program and method provide for receiving a first location of a first device associated with a first user, and a second location of a second device associated with a second user, the first and second users corresponding to contacts in a messaging application; providing an indication of the second location to the first device, and an indication of the first location to the second device; determining that a direction in which the first device is pointing corresponds to the second location, and that a direction in which the second device is pointing corresponds to the first location; providing, in response to the determining, a notification to at least one of the first device or the second device.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for providing a user interface for relative device positioning. The program and method provide for receiving a first location of a first device associated with a first user, and a second location of a second device associated with a second user, the first and second users corresponding to contacts in a messaging application; providing an indication of the second location to the first device, and an indication of the first location to the second device; determining that a direction in which the first device is pointing corresponds to the second location, and that a direction in which the second device is pointing corresponds to the first location; providing, in response to the determining, a notification to at least one of the first device or the second device.

A method to transcribe communications includes obtaining an audio message from a first device during a voice communication session with a second device including a display screen, providing the message to a first speech recognition system to generate a first message transcript, providing the transcript to the second device for presentation on the screen, obtaining an indication that a transcript quality is below a threshold, providing, in response, the message to a second system to generate a second transcript while still providing it to the first system to generate the first transcript and providing the first transcript to the second device for presentation on the display screen, and in response to an event occurring that indicates the second transcript is to be provided to the second device instead of the first transcript, providing the second transcript to the second device for presentation on the screen instead of the first transcript.
