GUARD TIMER TO OPTIMIZE E911 CALL HANDLING
Systems and methods for optimized call handling during e911 calls. Normally, when a user equipment (UE) is connected to a public safety answering point (PSAP)e.g., is on a 911 callall incoming calls are automatically routed to voicemail. In contrast, the systems and methods disclosed herein enable calls that were dialed within a predetermined time window of the 911 call to be sent through to call-waiting to enable the user to accept or reject the call. The system can use a guard timer to determine whether a call is within the predetermined time window. The system can include a single guard timer for all incoming callse.g., any call made from the UE within the previous X minutes prior to the 911 call. The system can also include individual guard timers for each call that expire separately relative to the call's proximity to the 911 call.

METHOD OF CONTROLLING COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN A DIGITAL INTERCOM SYSTEM
A method of managing communications between communication devices within a digital intercom system includes providing input and output tables for each communication device. The tables for each device are made up of cells formed from linear arrays corresponding to communication channels and the other devices. When two devices communicate on a given channel, a cell in the appropriate input and output table is identified based on the channel and the devices communicating. The cells provide volume control information which can be relied upon to determine if or to what degree audio signals should be transferred between the devices.
BROWSER BASED DIGITAL INTERCOM SYSTEM
A digital intercom system includes a master station having hardware and software configured to allow duplex communication between a plurality of communication devices. The software runs a plurality of settings for directing communication between the communication devices. The master station is configured to modify the settings based on input entered into a browser based program run on an input/output (I/O) device by a user.
INTERCOM-NETWORK STATION, INTERCOM NETWORK, AND METHOD
The invention concerns amongst other things a user (11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, 11e, 11f, 11g) to an intercom network (10) for carrying out real-time audio communication with other users of this intercom network, comprising an audio input, in particular a microphone (14, 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d, 14e, 14f) or a microphone port (28) and a connection port (29) or a communication module (30) for connecting with a switching center (19a, 19b) of the intercom network, comprising at least one functionality that can be set as a parameter, in particular manually set, such as key assignment, direct-dial key, brightness, volume or the like, characterized in that an NFC element (22, 22a, 22b, 22c, 22d, 22e, 22f) is provided on the user that can be used to carry out a communication with a counterpart NFC element (23) assigned to an operator (25).
Remotely configurable wireless intercom system for an establishment
Systems and methods associated with an intercom system for a drive-through, quick service restaurant facility is disclosed. Generally, a plurality of headsets is configured for communication with a base station. A speaker is associated with the drive-through facility is configured to be located near a menu board, and is configured for communication with the base station. A microphone is also configured to be located near the menu board and configured for communication with the base station. A plurality of parameters control the configuration of the intercom system, and the base station is connectable to a wide area communication network to enable remote adjustment of the plurality of parameters.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING FREQUENCIES OF INTERCOM APPARATUSES
A method and a device for adjusting frequencies of intercom apparatuses are provided. The method includes: detecting, at a current operating frequency of a first intercom apparatus, an unknown speech signal sent from an intercom apparatus other than the first intercom apparatus, the first intercom apparatus communicating with at least one second intercom apparatus associated with at least one second terminal; determining a target operating frequency; and sending a first adjusting instruction instructing the first intercom apparatus to adjust the current operating frequency to the target operating frequency; and sending a frequency changing message to the at least one second terminal for controlling the at least one second intercom apparatus to adjust the current operating frequency to the target operating frequency.
TECHNIQUES FOR TRANSFERRING A CALL REGARDLESS OF CALL STATE FOR USER EQUIPMENT SHARING A MOBILE DEVICE NUMBER
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. A first user equipment (UE) may determine that the first UE is to transfer a call from the first UE to a second UE, wherein the first UE and the second UE share a mobile device number (MDN). The first UE may initiate a call transfer procedure to transfer the call from the first UE to the second UE while the call is in an active state.
Headset System For Use In A Call Center Environment
A headset system for use with especially in a call center environment, in which method a wireless connection is established between headset and base unit, and the wireless connection is maintained while indicating from a headset user interface to the base unit that the headset is available for receiving an incoming call. The headset system is connected to a telephone system and has a processor configured to receive mode information and to operate according to the received mode information. The headset has a headset user interface and controls the headset signal processor to operate in accordance with user input. The headset is further configured to provide the end-of-call information to the base unit while maintaining the wireless connection.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING INCOMING CALLS
The present disclosure relates to a method, apparatus, and system for processing incoming calls. The method includes: determining whether a current state of a mobile terminal where a caller number is located meets an incoming call transfer condition in response to detecting that an incoming call is calling the caller number; and transferring the incoming call to a server in response to determining that the current state of the mobile terminal meets the incoming call transfer condition, for the server to send incoming call reminder information to a designated target application.
