CALLER PREVIEW DATA AND CALL MESSAGES BASED ON CALLER PREVIEW DATA
Implementations of the present application relate to caller preview data and call messages based on caller preview data. In some implementations, a method includes sending, by a caller device, a call request to one or more callee devices, and establishing a connection to at least one callee device prior to receipt of an acceptance of the call request by the callee device. At least a portion of caller preview data is transmitted to the callee device over the connection prior to the receipt of the call acceptance. In response to determining that the at least a portion of the caller preview data has been transmitted for a particular time period without receipt of the acceptance of the call request, information is transmitted to instruct a call message to be stored on the callee device, where the call message includes at least a part of the caller preview data.
Management of communication notifications based upon geographic location
Embodiments of the present invention provide notification management across a plurality of electronic communication devices based on the present situational context of the intended communication recipient. Some types of relevant situational context information include the geographic location of the intended recipient, what electronic communication devices they may have in their possession, calendar or schedule information, the presence of other people, the identity of other people present in their vicinity, their relationship to the communication sender, and context information concerning the sender, such as how frequently the sender has attempted to communicate with the intended recipient and news information relevant to the known or assumed location of the sender. Notifications are managed by adjusting which electronic communication devices emit notifications and what type of notifications are emitted.
NETWORK SOURCE IDENTIFICATION VIA AUDIO SIGNALS
Network source identification via audio signals is provided. A system receives data packets with an input audio signal from a client device. The system identifies a request. The system selects a digital component provided by a digital component provider device. The system identifies audio chimes stored in memory of the client device. The system matches, based on a policy, an identifier of the digital component provider device to a first audio chime stored in the memory of the client device. The system determines, based on a characteristic of the first audio chime, a configuration to combine the digital component with the first audio chime. The system generates an action data structure with the digital component, an indication of the first audio chime, and the configuration. The system transmits the action data structure to the client device to cause the client device to generate an output audio signal.
Mobile terminal and ringtone playing method thereof
A mobile terminal and a ringtone playing method thereof are provided. The playing method includes: selecting a music file which to be set as a ringtone, and popping up a playing preview interface corresponding to the music film and, meanwhile, playing the music file; sliding a cursor of the playing preview interface to select a start position and a playing end position on a playing progress bar corresponding to the music file so as to acquire and save playing information of the ringtone, wherein the playing information comprises a playing start time point and a playing end time point of the ringtone; and in response to occurrence of a ringing event, reading the saved playing information of the ringtone and playing a music clip between the playing start time point and the playing end time point.
Communication device controlling method
A communication device controlling method, for controlling a communication device including a first subscriber identification and a second subscriber identification when a process of a data call established with the first subscriber identification is in a suspension, comprising: (a) receiving, by a processor of the communication device, a request to establish a mobile terminated (MT) call with the second subscriber identification; and (b) resuming, by the processor, the process of the data call from the suspension before an instruction of accepting or rejecting the request is received if the MT call is packet-switch based.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PLAYING MEDIA CONTENT IN TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK
A method of playing media content in a telecommunication network is disclosed. The method involves uploading media content on a server (100) by a caller device (400). The method further includes selecting at least one callee device (500) from a contact list of the device (400) via a predefined application (300). Further, the method includes forwarding the content from the server to a selected callee device (500). The method is followed by outputting the content by the application (300) on the selected device (500). The content is selected by the device (400), and the content is output at least one of when the selected device (500) is receiving a call from the device (400) or the selected device (500) is commencing the call to the device (400), the content being played on the selected device (500) by capturing ring signal via a ring signal capturing module (250).
Method and apparatus for content presentation in association with a telephone call
A method and apparatus are provided for presenting multimedia content to a caller and/or a called party in association with a telephone call. Content may be presented pre-ring (before the called party's telephone rings), in-call, and/or post-call. Content presented to a party may be related to another party participating in the call or may be related to a third party (e.g., an advertiser that paid for the ability to have its content presented). Presented content may be actuable, to allow a caller to change the destination of a call, take advantage of an offer presented to him or her, redeem a coupon, schedule or queue a subsequent call, etc. To find a desired destination party, a caller may initiate a manual or automatic search of his or her local contacts (on his telephone) and/or a central or global directory or contact list.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING RINGBACK TONE SERVICE AND RINGTONE SERVICE IN VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (VOIP) CALL SERVICE
Provided is a method, a system, an apparatus, and/or a non-transitory computer readable medium for providing a ringback tone and a ringtone using a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) call service. A call method may provide sound sources directly edited by users as a ringtone or a ringback tone in a VoIP call service.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method of controlling same, and has the objective of providing a mobile terminal and a method of controlling same which allow a caller to be identified when a call signal is received without having to look at a display. The gist of the present invention is that when a call signal is received through a wireless communication unit, the calling phone number of the received call signal is identified, a melody bell sound corresponding to the identified calling phone number is output, and the key of the melody corresponds to a first number included in the calling phone number.
AMBIENT SOUND ADJUSTMENTS DURING CALL HANDLING
Apparatuses, methods and computer programs are described comprising: providing an incoming call indication in response to an incoming call, the incoming call indication including an initial ambient audio signal comprising a combination of first ambient audio and second ambient audio; receiving an ambient audio control command; and adjusting the initial ambient audio signal to generate an adjusted ambient audio signal depending on the ambient audio control command.
