Techniques for announcing a communications session after the communications session is established between multiple user devices are described. In an example, a computer system may instruct a first user device to establish a communications session with a second user device. The computer system may receive, from the second user device, data indicating a request of the first user device for the communications session. Based at least in part on the data, the computer system may generate content associated with the first user device. The computer system may also instruct the second user device to accept the request and present the content after the communications session is established between the first user device and the second user device.

The terminal device prevents, based on determination that the output mode is a second mode in which the voice is output from the earpiece, the advertisement from being displayed on the display within the invitation period.

A verification and authorization method, system, and computer program product include verifying, via a receiving device that receives a verification sound packet, an identity of a trusted caller via the verification sound packet, the verification sound packet including an asymmetrically encrypted payload sent by the trusted caller.

A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a computer-readable storage medium in a telephone having computer instructions to execute a web server application in the telephone. The web server application can be operable to detect an incoming plain old telephone service call, identify a calling party identifier from the incoming plain old telephone service call, and direct one of a plurality of devices detected by web server application to present the calling party identifier. Embodiments of the present disclosure include a media display control method and a related product. The method includes: after a call between a first terminal and a second terminal rings, obtaining candidate media information from a resource server, and displaying the candidate media information; determining first to-be-displayed media information after the call between the first terminal and the second terminal is connected, where the first to-be-displayed media information is media information selected from the candidate media information; and sending, by the first terminal, the first to-be-displayed media information to the second terminal. Media information displayed by the terminals may be controlled after the call between the terminals is connected, so that the displayed information is controlled during the call. In this way, valuable information is displayed to the user, and communication efficiency is improved.
