SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MESSAGING-TRIGGERED SALES LEAD REDIRECTION
A system and method for messaging-triggered sales lead redirection which uses an interaction control server to facilitate initial communications between potential buyers and sales representatives of sellers. In an embodiment, the system comprises a triggering application installed on a mobile phone of a user (potential buyer), a media gateway server which provides context-aware advertising and through which potential buyers may be connected directly with sales representatives of a seller, and an interaction control server which controls the messaging between the mobile device and the media gateway server.
Method and system for automatically detecting and blocking robocalls
A method and system for automatically detecting and blocking robocalls. A robocall application on a server network device detects whether incoming calls from a first network device requesting a connection to a second network device are live voice calls are robocalls including natural synthesized voice data or artificial synthesized voice data. The robocall application on a server network device also detects whether incoming or outgoing calls from a third-party network device used to connect the first network device to the second network device are live voice calls or are robocalls including natural synthesized voice data or artificial synthesized voice data. Robocalls are automatically detected and blocked.
RINGLESS VOICEMAIL ATTEMPT DETECTION
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for ringless voicemail detection are provided. In an example, a first call attempt to a phone number may be detected. In response to detecting a second call attempt to the phone number occurring within a first threshold timespan of the first call attempt being detected, first processing of the second call attempt is withheld. In response to the first call attempt being cancelled within a second threshold timespan of the first call attempt being detected, second processing of the second call attempt is performed based upon a policy.
Handling incoming communication during communication set up
Methods, a system, and computer readable media are disclosed to provide an enhanced Communication Waiting applications service. Enhancements include a method for handling an incoming communication received before an outgoing communication is acknowledged and a method to handle a second incoming communications to a user device before the first incoming communication is acknowledged by the user. Such methods remove limitations on existing techniques by allowing users to select between pending and new incoming calls. In some embodiments, calls not selected by the users are placed on hold or routed to voicemail.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING CALLER IDENTIFICATION OVER A PUBLIC SWITCHED TELEPHONE NETWORK
A system and method of providing caller identification (ID) over a public switched telephone network (PSTN). For outbound calls, the system and method enable a caller to provide a caller ID that differs from the native caller ID of their mobile phone. The system and method enable multiple phones tied to a single account to display the same caller ID for outbound calls. For forwarded inbound calls, such as calls being forwarded from an office, the system and method inform the recipient of the identification of the call as well as that the call is being forwarded. The system and method enable the recipient to have calls forwarded from more than one number and identify the identity of the caller as well as the specific number the call is being forwarded from.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OMNICHANNEL TEXT - BASED INTERACTION TRANSFER
A system and method for omnichannel text-based routing, interaction transfer, and customer-to-enterprise communications. The system is a cloud-based network containing an interaction control server, a routing engine, a media translation server, a mobile application, a business entity portal, mobile and compute devices for business enterprise and customer, and an enterprise database. Taken together or in part, said system optimizes customer interactions by delivering context aware text message, chat or email to customers; and when requested by customer, optimally routes with context, based upon a multitude of variables, to best available resource to handle the customer interaction. The system may be accessed through web browsers or purpose-built computer and mobile phone applications.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OMNICHANNEL TEXT - BASED COMMUNICATION SYSTEM UTILIZING A SECURE SMART MOBILE USER DEVICE
A system and method for omnichannel voice and text-based routing, transfer, and customer-to-enterprise communications with a secure smart mobile user device. The system is a cloud-based network containing an interaction control server, a routing engine, an optimization engine, a media translation server, a mobile application, a business entity portal, mobile and compute devices for business enterprise and customer, and an enterprise database. Taken together or in part, said system optimizes customer interactions by delivering context aware text message, chat or email to customers; and when requested by customer, optimally routes with context, based upon a multitude of variables, to best available resource to handle the customer interaction. The system may be accessed through web browsers, purpose-built computer, mobile phone applications or a secure smart mobile user device.
System and method for omnichannel text-based communication system utilizing speech recognition
A system and method for omnichannel voice and text-based advertising using voice recognition. The system comprises an application that allows a user who has viewed an advertisement on a non-interactive medium to speak one or more words dictated by the advertisement into the application in order to receive business incentives. A speech recognition engine recognizes the words spoken into the application and matches the words to the relevant advertisement and delivers a text-based incentive to the user. Furthermore, with the potential customer's phone number now available, an omnichannel text-based communicator may now send other advertisements, reminders (such as to use the incentive), and communications to the user of the application.
Method for operating a device for handling a phone call
A method for operating a device for handling a phone call is disclosed. In one aspect the method comprises (a) receiving a phone call from a calling party, (b) determining an action to be performed by the device among a predetermined list of actions related to the handling of a phone call, as a function at least of identity information about the calling party, and (c) performing the determined action for handling the phone call. The device may be programmable and mobile, e.g., a smartphone.
