Messaging system for automatically generating semantic contextual messages

A method for automatically generating a semantic contextual message is provided. The method includes: prompting a user to grant access to a plurality of data sources of the user and to a plurality of contacts of the user; prompting the user to set a preference for each contact listing which of the data sources are shareable with the corresponding contact; monitoring a network for an incoming communication from a caller to the user, and determining whether the user is available to receive the incoming communication; identifying one of the contacts associated with the incoming communication, collecting data from the data sources listed by the preference of the identified one contact, and generating a semantic contextual message based on the collected data, when it is determined that the user is not available; and outputting the semantic contextual message across the network to the caller.

System and method for preventing robocall voicemail deposit
11172002 · 2021-11-09 · ·

Systems and methods for preventing a robocall from leaving a voicemail are described. When an incoming call without a history information header (HIH) destined for a subscriber is detected, the incoming call is prevented from leaving a voicemail if the subscriber does not answer the incoming call. If the incoming call has the HIH, additional determination process based on a visited network address of the subscriber is performed to determine whether the incoming call is to be prevented from leaving a voicemail.

Providing enhanced call content

One example may include receiving a message with call data for a future call between a calling party and a called party, identifying a profile identifier from the call data identifying an enhanced call information profile associated with the calling party, and creating a call message header with a code object having the enhanced call information to include with a call message when placing the future call.

Head mounted display for an electronic call

A head mounted display (HMD) worn on a head of a first person that provides an electronic call between the first person and a second person. The HMD includes or more sensors that determine a size of a physical environment where the first person is located and objects in the physical environment. A display displays a virtual image of the second person during the electronic call, and one or more processors adjust a voice of the second person played to the first person to compensation for sound reverberation. The HMD include speakers that play the voice of the second person in binaural sound compensated for the sound reverberation.

Video voicemail recording system

A video voicemail recording system enables a caller to leave a conventional audio voicemail message over the telephony connection used for routing a call or to leave a message of a different communication modality using a client application at the calling device. A call is routed to a client device from a calling device. In-call options for selection at the calling device are presented responsive to the call going unanswered, in which a first in-call option allows an operator of the calling device to record an audio-only voicemail message over the telephony service and a second in-call option allows the operator of the calling device to record or input a message of a second communication modality (e.g., a video message). A request to open the client application at the calling device is transmitted responsive to a selection of the second in-call option. The message is received in response thereto.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVISION OF AN ADVANCED NETWORK FUNCTION TO A DEVICE

Enhanced capabilities within a telephone network are made accessible to a telecommunications device. The telecommunications device is used to dial a sequence. A network server receives and identifies the sequence invokes an advanced network function. A advanced network function server in communication with the network server provides instructions as to how the network server is to provide the advanced network function. The network server processes the call in accordance with the received instructions to provide the particular advanced network function.

Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and computer program

Provided is an information processing apparatus capable of reliably delivering a message to a third party desired by a user. Provided is an information processing apparatus including an acquisition unit configured to acquire information including a sound message, and a recognition unit configured to recognize a sender of the sound message, a destination of a message included is the sound message, and content of the message from the information acquired by the acquisition unit, in which the recognition unit generates information for inputting the destination of the message is a case where the destination cannot be uniquely specified.

A message treatment process executed by a user's terminal when a message is being drafted is disclosed. The terminal has access to a corpus of messages containing at least one message sent by that user to at least one recipient user. In one aspect, at least one part of the message drafted by the user is retrieved. Concerning at least one message in the corpus, a semantic similarity score is calculated with a view to match at least part of the draft message with one message at least in the predetermined corpus of messages. At least one message is selected in the corpus of messages, based on the semantic similarity score calculated for a least one message in the corpus, then at least part of a previously received reply to at least one selected message is replicated.

Voicemail Spam Detection

Voicemail spam detection is performed based on content of voicemail messages. The content of an incoming voicemail message is compared to a spam template that includes a representation of a spam voicemail. Spam templates may be generated based on spam indications provided by users for voicemail messages they have received. User indications for sufficiently similar voicemail messages may be aggregated by maintaining a vote count for a spam template that reflects how many times a user has indicated a matching voicemail message is spam. A spam template may also include an occurrence count that reflects how many times voicemail messages matching a spam template have been detected in a telephony system. An incoming voicemail message may be compared to spam templates and, responsive to a match of content and/or a corresponding vote count or occurrence count meeting a condition, the voicemail message may be identified as spam.
