PULL PRINT SYSTEM
A pull print system includes a printing apparatus (MFP) that executes a print job, a pull print server that spools the print job to be executed as a pull print by the printing apparatus, and an electronic device that sends the print job to the pull print server. The pull print server sends to the electronic device setting information for a job setting being a setting of the print job, and when displaying a setting screen for the job setting, the electronic device displays the setting screen on which the setting information sent from the pull print server is reflected.
Image Processing Apparatus and Recording Medium
An image processing apparatus includes a display unit that displays a preview image of a document on a preview screen during login of a first user, a communication controller that receives a job from an external device, a determination unit that determines whether the job received from the external device is a specific type of job, and a display controller that controls display on the preview screen. When the specific type of job is received during display of the preview screen, the display controller assumes a predetermined degree or more of possibility that a second user different from the first user may approach the apparatus, and performs at least one of first display control where the preview image is automatically hidden on the preview screen and second display control where a non-display button for hiding the preview image according to a user operation is displayed on the preview screen.
System and method for printing during a pull printing system failure
A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and apparatus for printing in a pull printing system when a print server is unavailable are disclosed. For example, the method includes receiving a request to print a document, determining that the print server of the pull printing system is unavailable, providing one or more printers to print the document, receiving a selection of a printer from the one or more printers to print the document, transmitting the document to the printer that is selected for printing, determining that the print server is available, and transmitting an update message to the print server that includes the document that was printed, the printer that was selected and one or more print parameters associated with the document, wherein the print server synchronizes a print queue and a print history of the print server based on the update message.
DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PRINT SYSTEM
A data processing apparatus includes a processing unit configured to perform a process on print data or setting data of the print data by a processing method targeting print data of a specific description format; a receiving unit configured to receive print data and setting data of the print data of a description format selected by a user; a determination data obtaining unit configured to obtain determination data that indicates whether a printer driver used for inputting the received print data and the setting data is a target printer driver for the process performed by the processing unit; and a process control unit configured to determine whether to perform the process by the processing unit on the received print data or the setting data based on the obtained determination data, and control the processing by the processing unit.
Information processing system, mobile terminal, and method of controlling the same
In order to support a user operation in a system cooperation function using wireless communication, an information processing system includes an image processing apparatus with an image scanning unit and a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal performs wireless communication with the image processing apparatus; identifies a distance from the image processing apparatus based on the wireless communication; displays a screen used to accept a user operation; and controls an image scanning operation by the image scanning unit in cooperation with the image processing apparatus. If the distance is less than a predetermined distance, the mobile terminal displays a first screen that prompts a first scanning method, and if the distance is not less than the predetermined distance, the mobile terminal displays a second screen that prompts a second scanning method different from the first scanning method.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS THAT ENABLE PUSH SCAN, CONTROL METHODS THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIA STORING CONTROL PROGRAMS THEREFOR
An information processing apparatus that changes a state of a monitoring process that waits for image data from an image processing apparatus between a working state and a non-working state as necessary. The information processing apparatus includes a first transmission unit that transmits identification information about the information processing apparatus to the image processing apparatus, a reception unit that receives image data that is generated by scanning a document by the image processing apparatus and is transmitted from the image processing apparatus using the identification information, a second transmission unit that transmits the received image data to a predetermined application in the information processing apparatus, and a setting unit that sets as to whether the second transmission unit transmits the received image data to the predetermined application. The setting unit sets so as to transmit the received image data to the predetermined application based on transmission of the identification information.
Universal secure imaging workflow
Embodiments disclosed include systems and methods for computer automated print services control comprising authenticating a user credential input via a user device. The system and method includes generating, by a printer driver comprised in the user device, a user interface comprising features supported by a plurality of printing devices. Further, it includes receiving via the user device over the network, a print instruction comprising the features supported by the plurality of printing devices connected to the computer system over the network. And based on the print instruction, generating a print job in an embodiment. Further, based on the user authentication at one of the plurality of printing devices, converting via a gateway, the received print instruction into a format compatible with that printing device and releasing the generated print job for printing at that printing device, according to an embodiment.
LOT CODE INFORMATION FOR PRINTING DEVICE CALIBRATION
Examples of printing device calibration based on a lot code are described. In an example, a lot code of a print media is determined. Calibration parameters for a printing device are determined based on the lot code. The printing device is calibrated to print on the print media based on the calibration parameters.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM
An image forming apparatus includes a processor configured to transmit data obtained by optically scanning a target object to a service for executing a predetermined process on the data, encrypt processing information for acquiring a result of the predetermined process of the service and executing a process for the result of the predetermined process, and transmit the encrypted processing information to another image forming apparatus.
Information processing apparatus, information processing system, information processing method, and program
The information processing apparatus includes a space information acquisition unit that acquires space information based on the space sensing information, an object information acquisition unit that acquires object information, a user information acquisition unit that acquires user information based on the user sensing information, an attention level map creation unit that creates an attention level map showing an attention level of the user for each local area of the space, a goodness-of-fit map creation unit that creates a goodness-of-fit map showing a goodness-of-fit of the object for each local area, and a proposing unit that proposes a disposition of the object in the space on the basis of the attention level map and the goodness-of-fit map.
