Retail photo kiosk access system
Disclosed herein are embodiments for operating a retail photo kiosk and establishing a dedicated access for a remote mobile device to the photo kiosk. Certain embodiments of the photo kiosk incorporate anchored connector cables to connect remote mobile devices to the photo kiosk. According to one embodiment, the photo kiosk detects when a remote mobile device is connected to the kiosk via an anchored connector cable. Upon receiving user information, the photo kiosk generates and sends an access message comprising to the connected mobile device. Following the access message, the user may establish dedicated access to the photo kiosk through the mobile device, which allows the user to utilize and leverage photo processing features of the kiosk.
Apparatus utilizing and method of partial lamination for a seamless interface with touchscreen functionality
A seamless interface with touchscreen functionality and the method of manufacture are disclosed. An apparatus utilizing the seamless interface with touchscreen functionality, and a method of manufacturing the apparatus are similarly disclosed. The seamless interface has a front member, adhesive means, and a support member with an opening. The apparatus includes a touchscreen device, a rear member, and the seamless interface. The rear member secures the touchscreen device in the opening of the support member, which thereby contacts the front member of the seamless interface. Partially laminating the front member with the support member having an opening utilizing an adhesive means creates the seamless interface. This design enables the touchscreen functionality of the touchscreen device placed behind the front member to transfer through the front member, thereby allowing a user to communicate with the touchscreen device through the seamless interface.
Sensor-actuated mask-enhanced digital video frame
A framed collectible for displaying a continuously-looping playback of a digital video file is provided, wherein a display panel is controlled by a display controller to play at least one video file in a continuous loop on the display panel only while an output signal from a magnet sensor indicates no proximity to a magnet proximal to the back side of the display panel. The display controller has a printed circuit board that incorporates at least one processor and at least one memory that contains at least one video file. The memory, which in an embodiment can be flash memory, is factory programmed and therefore the memory content cannot be changed by an end user. Packaging for storage and shipping of the framed collectible is also provided, which incorporates a magnet that is sensed by the magnet sensor to keep continuously-looping video playback switched off while the device is stored.
MOBILE PHOTOBOOTH
A system and method are provided for photographing vehicles in a deployable photobooth structure that avoids corner lighting issues common with angular shaped photobooths. The walls of the photobooth are made of an opaque fabric or panels. A frame supports photographic lighting, as well as rods from which the fabric that forms the walls is hung. The photobooth itself may be hung from a ceiling and deployed downward or retracted upward to a ceiling. The photobooth may also be mobile and used in outdoor settings. If not hung, vertical support legs may be used to support the frame above the floor or ground. Low volume car photos are obtained where a user walks about the inside perimeter of the photobooth and takes a series of photographs or video. The images or video may then be manipulated by computer to provide seamless reflection free 360 degree images.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EVALUATING ACTIONS OVER A COMPUTER NETWORK AND ESTABLISHING LIVE NETWORK CONNECTIONS
Various embodiments provide a method of connecting an employer with a candidate, comprising: receiving criteria data from the employer regarding a job opening; receiving background data from the candidate; recording data of the candidate in a video interview; analyzing the data of the candidate with speech-to-text analysis to identify candidate data, comparing real-time connection attributes to the candidate data; if a threshold amount of real-time connection attributes are satisfied by the candidate data, then sending, a first offer to the employer for a real-time connection with the candidate; receiving an employer acceptance of the first offer for a real-time connection with the candidate; sending a second offer to the candidate for a real-time connection with the employer; receiving a candidate acceptance; and connecting the candidate and the employer in real time by establishing a live audio connection or a live audio and video connection.

Retail photo order production and workflow management system and methods of use
Described herein is a multi-user retail photo kiosk system that includes multiple touch screen and Graphic User Interface (GUI) controlled consumer photo editing, photo print and product selection, and photo order placement terminals and multiple photo printers. The user photo kiosk terminals can receive images. Billing and payment is accomplished using barcoded receipts provided at the user terminal for payments for purchased photo products. A printer array incorporating various printers capable of producing prints or various sizes and formats can be configured as a horizontal counter or as a vertical tower and includes means to alert the user that their photo print order is complete. In addition, the system automatically notifies operators if equipment service, maintenance, media refilling, and/or post printing finishing procedures are required.
