The information processing apparatus causes, in the display control, the display to display, based on execution of setting processing of allocating one page data to the first page and the last page of the book, a preview image in which the one page data is laid out in a spread region generated by laying out an image of the last page adjacent to an image of the first page of the book in the preview screen.

An electronic picture frame and an image display method thereof are provided. In the electronic picture frame, a plurality of images are arranged and displayed on one side of a screen, and among the plurality of images, an image at a particular position is enlarged and displayed. Alternatively, a screen is divided into a plurality of sub-screens, so images stored in each of a plurality of storage areas can be displayed on a respective sub-screen. Accordingly, the images stored in the plurality of storage areas can be displayed on the electronic picture frame in diverse forms.

Systems and methods for locking and unlocking software applications are described. In some embodiments, a software application is placed in a locked mode. While the software application is in the locked mode, data to alter the application's state is received. In response to receiving the data, the mode of the software application is altered to an unlocked mode. The placement of a software application in a locked or unlocked mode does not affect the modes of other software applications on the user device.

The information processing system further includes circuitry configured to: receive a display request for the use screen from an electronic device; transmit, to the electronic device, the use screen information defining the use screen requested by the received display request and the setting information for the application corresponding to the use screen information; receive, from the electronic device, a first acquisition request that includes a first item detail that is input to a first input item among the input items on the use screen; acquire, from the external service, list information; and transmit the acquired list information to the electronic device.
