A portable electronic device with a touch screen display for photo management is disclosed. One aspect of the invention involves a computer-implemented method in which the portable electronic device displays an array of thumbnail images corresponding to a set of photographic images. The device replaces the displayed array of thumbnail images with a user-selected photographic image upon detecting a user contact with a corresponding thumbnail image in the array. The user-selected photographic image is displayed at a larger scale than the corresponding thumbnail image. The portable device displays a different photographic image in replacement of the user-selected photographic image in accordance with a scrolling gesture. The scrolling gesture comprises a substantially horizontal movement of user contact with the touch screen display.

A power storage device includes power storage cells that includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an accommodation chamber accommodating a liquid electrolyte in a liquid-tight manner. A display apparatus transmits a picture acquisition request for getting picture information to an external image apparatus connected through a predetermined interface to the display apparatus from the external image apparatus at predetermined intervals and gets a plurality of pieces of picture information from the external image apparatus to be displayed. The present subject matter describes processing of objects for imaging in an imaging system. In an example implementation, a visual image of a plurality of objects disposed on an imaging bed of the imaging system is generated. A visual image of the imaging bed divided into a plurality of imaging zones is generated. Each of the plurality of objects are identified within a respective imaging zone from the plurality of imaging zones. Each of the plurality of imaging zones are assigned a corresponding imaging operation, where the imaging operation is one of a scan&print operation and a scan-only operation.

A method for proactively creating an image product includes capturing an image of an object in a first environment by a device, storing a library of personalized products each characterized by a product type, automatically recognizing the object in the image as having a product type associated with the library of personalized products, automatically creating a design for the personalized product of the product type using personalized content, automatically displaying the design of the personalized product of the product type incorporating the selected photo in the first environment on the device, and manufacturing a physical product based on the design of the personalized product.
