Image forming device
According to one embodiment, there is provided an image forming device that prevents write information from being incorrectly written to a non-target RFID tag. The image forming device according to the embodiment includes: a placement unit, a wireless tag communication unit, and a conductor. A sheet provided with a wireless tag can be placed in the placement unit. The wireless tag communication unit can write information to the wireless tag provided on the sheet. The conductor is provided in the placement unit and hinders communication between the wireless tag communication unit and the wireless tag.
SHEET CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WRITING TO A WIRELESS TAG
A sheet conveyance device has a sheet conveyance path with a first path and a second path. A wireless tag communication device can write information to a wireless tag on a sheet on the first and second paths and receive responses from the wireless tag. A controller controls the wireless tag communication device to attempt to write information to the wireless tag while on the first path, then determines whether information has been written to the wireless tag on the first path according to a response received from the wireless tag. The controller switches a conveyance destination for the sheet to the second path if the information has not been written or to a discharge location if the information has been written. The controller then controls the wireless tag communication device to attempt to write information to the wireless tag while the sheet is on the second path.
DATA PLAYBACK SYSTEM, DATA PLAYBACK METHOD, DATA PLAYBACK TERMINAL, PRINTER, AND SERVER
There are provided a data playback system, a data playback method, a data playback terminal, a printer, and a server which are capable of playing sound from a printout and viewing a favorable image.
Image data of an image printed on an instant film and sound data associated with the image data are stored in a data storage server. In a case where a two-dimensional code printed with the image on the instant film is read by a data playback terminal, access information to the image data of the printed image and the sound data associated with the image data is obtained. The data playback terminal accesses the data storage server based on the obtained access information, and downloads and plays the image data of the printed image and the sound data.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
An upper unit includes a feed tray configured to support a document to be fed such that the document is inclined, a transport path configured to reverse the document fed in a direction having a vertically downward component by a feed tray in a direction having a vertically upward component, a first reader disposed on the transport path, and a discharge tray configured to support the discharged document such that the document is inclined. A lower unit includes a document positioning plate on which a document is mounted, and includes a second reader disposed vertically below the document positioning plate and configured to read the document mounted on the document positioning plate. A portion of the first reader and a portion of the document positioning plate overlap when viewed from vertically above.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS USING RADIO SIGNALS RECEIVED FROM WIRELESS TAGS
A sheet processing apparatus for processing sheets each with a wireless tag, includes a roller, a wireless tag reader/writer, and a controller configured to control the roller to convey a first sheet with a first tag along a path, control the reader/writer to acquire first strengths of radio signals received from the first tag during the conveyance and second strengths of radio signals received from wireless tags of sheets not being conveyed, determine a threshold value of signal strength for distinguishing a wireless tag being conveyed from wireless tags not being conveyed based on the first and second strengths, and control the roller to convey a second sheet with a second tag and control the reader/writer to write to the second tag when a strength of a radio signal from the second tag is greater than or equal to the threshold value.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
According to an embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes a sheet conveyance unit that is configured to transport a print medium along a conveyance path. An antenna is configured to emit radio waves towards a predetermined portion of the conveyance path. A controller is configured to control the antenna to emit the radio waves towards the predetermined portion with a polarization direction set according to a type of the print medium being transported by the sheet conveyance unit. The print medium may have, for example, one or more wireless tags thereon or therein.
Conductive sheet and sheet bundle package
A conductive sheet capable of preventing erroneous reading and writing is provided. The conductive sheet according to one embodiment is configured to be positioned between a sheet tray of an image forming device and a sheet. The conductive sheet includes a base layer and a double conveyance prevention structure. The base layer comprises a conductive material positioned to overlap with a wireless tag of the sheet. The double conveyance prevention structure is coupled to or defined by the base layer. The double conveyance prevention structure is configured to prevent conveyance of the conductive sheet by the image forming apparatus when the conductive sheet overlaps the sheet in the sheet tray.
Image reading apparatus incliding an upper unit and a lower unit disposed vertically below the upper unit, the upper unit includes a feed tray configured to support a document fed at an incline of 45 degrees or more, a discharge tray supports a document discharged such that the document is inclined at an agle of 45 degrees or more, the lower unit includes a document positioning plate on which a document is mounted and a second reader
