In an embodiment of the invention, a method of facsimile requirements monitoring during facsimile transmission of a form is provided. The method includes loading a document directed for facsimile transmission by a facsimile data processing system, identifying within the document a facsimile requirement that a particular location within the document include end user supplied data, determining whether or not the particular location specified by the facsimile requirement includes end user supplied data, and generating an error message in the facsimile device responsive to a determination that the particular location lacks any end user supplied data.

An image forming apparatus includes a print engine, a first CPU that controls operation of the image forming apparatus except for the print engine, a second CPU that controls operation of the print engine, and a shared memory. On executing processing of a print job, the first CPU performs a job management including managing job management information and storing the job management information in a data area of the shared memory, and the first CPU outputs image data to be printed, stored in the data area, to the print engine. An image processing apparatus includes: a display; a memory that stores multiple key frames of a video guide on how to recover from an operating error; an error sensor that detects the operating error; and a display processor that allows the display to display at least one of the multiple key frames as a still frame for a digest along with an operation button for video playback, when the error sensor detects the operating error, the multiple key frames being stored on the memory, and that further allows the display to play back the video guide by serially displaying the multiple key frames, when the operation button is pressed.
