INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus is provided to facilitate a user's understanding of which area of an image has a higher degree of change when image processing is performed on the image. The information processing apparatus displays, on a display device, information indicating a relationship in magnitude between a first amount of change by the image processing in a first area included in a predetermined image and a second amount of change by the image processing in a second area included in the predetermined image.
Color gamut mapping method and color gamut mapping device
The present application provides a color gamut mapping method and a color gamut mapping device for use in a splicing display device. Display screens in the splicing display device have different color gamuts. By mapping the color gamuts of multiple display screens to the display screen which is the uniquely determined display screen in the splicing display device, the color gamuts of all the display screens in the splicing display device are the same, and colors displayed on different screens are also the same. Accordingly, the present application improves uneven images and the image quality.
COLOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR APPLICATION OF COLOR TO SUBSTRATES
Methods, systems and computer readable media for color management are described. In some implementations, the method can include accessing one or more buildup curves associated with a combination of a substrate, one or more colorants and a colorant dispenser. The method can also include accessing a design file specifying a design and including one or more layer files each specifying a layer color. The method can further include generating, for each layer color, a corresponding colorization recipe based on the one or more buildup curves. The method can also include creating a production job instruction/metadata file having a link to the design instruction/metadata file and including parameters associated with the colorant dispensing job to be carried out using the design instruction/metadata file.
Color table compression
In some examples, a print cartridge includes a memory device comprising quantized coefficients derived from a lossy compression, at a selected step size, of a difference color table including a plurality of difference nodes in which each difference node represents a difference value that is a difference of a value of a node of a color table and a value of a corresponding node of a reference table, the quantized coefficients useable to produce a reconstructed difference color table including a first set of difference nodes each representing a difference value that is within an error threshold at the selected step size, and a second set of difference nodes each representing a difference value that is outside an error threshold at the selected step size. The memory device further comprises corrective information to correct the second set of difference nodes of the reconstructed difference color table.
WEB SERVICE FOR PRINTER COLOUR MATCHING
Web server based color management hosted by a web server is provided enabling a production device to produce a print job with a similar color appearance as a reference device. The web server receives a production device color management profile and a reference device color management profile. The web server creates an output color management profile based on the color management profile of the production device and the color management profile of the reference device. The output color management profile maps device-independent color values associated in the color management profile of the reference device to device-specific color values for colors reproducible by the production device.
Grey level-based page turn adjustment
A content item to be displayed via a display of an electronic device may be associated with a first set of grey values or a set of color values. The electronic device may generate, maintain, or at least have access to one or more mappings that map the set of color values and/or the first set of grey values to a second set of grey values. Based on the one or more mappings, the electronic device may convert a color value of the set of color values or a first grey value of the first set of grey values to a second grey value of the second set of grey values. The content item may then be displayed utilizing the second grey value.
ENHANCING PIGMENTATION IN DERMOSCOPY IMAGES
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for modifying images of skin so as to reduce or enhance the appearance of component pigments, such as melanin and hemoglobin. A diffuse reflectance image of skin, such as a cross-polarized contact dermoscopy image, which conveys information regarding subsurface features of the skin, is processed so as to extract pigment distribution information, which is then used to correct the diffuse reflectance image, such as by reducing the appearance of melanin to allow better visualization of hemoglobin-related structures, such as vasculature. Alternatively, the diffuse reflectance image can be corrected so as to reduce the appearance of hemoglobin to allow better visualization of melanin-related structures.
Remote adjustment of print settings
Systems and methods for providing remote approval of an image for printing are provided. One system includes a processing circuit in communication with an image capturing device that is configured to capture an image of a printed product. The processing circuit is configured to process the captured image into a processed image accurate to within a tolerance in a color space to indicate the visual appearance of one or more colors. The color space is a standardized color space, such as sRGB or CIELAB. The processing circuit is further configured to transmit the processed image to a display located remote from the image capturing device and to receive an input signal from a remote input device to allow a user to approve or reject the displayed processed image for printing on a print device.
PROFILE ADJUSTMENT METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROFILE ADJUSTMENT PROGRAM, AND PROFILE ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS
In an output profile representing a correspondence relationship between device independent coordinate values and second coordinate values in a second device dependent color space, a color conversion table used to convert the device independent coordinate values into the second coordinate values is defined as a first conversion table, and the device independent coordinate values at the adjustment point are defined as to-be-adjusted PCS values. In optimization, an optimization process including an element making provisional color values closer to an adjustment target is executed, the provisional color value being acquired by a conversion, in accordance with the first conversion table, of provisional PCS values resulting from a change in the to-be-adjusted PCS values, thus acquiring an optimal solution for the device independent coordinate values corresponding to the adjustment target.
Method and device for image display based on metadata, and recording medium therefor
A method of generating metadata includes: obtaining a first image and a second image respectively having different color gamuts; obtaining at least one of information regarding a white point and information regarding the color gamut of the second image; correcting the first image based on the obtained information; and generating the metadata based on a correspondence relation between color information of the corrected first image and color information of the second image.
