Methods, systems and computer readable media for color management are described. In some implementations, the method can include accessing one or more buildup curves associated with a combination of a substrate, one or more colorants and a colorant dispenser. The method can also include accessing a design file specifying a design and including one or more layer files each specifying a layer color. The method can further include generating, for each layer color, a corresponding colorization recipe based on the one or more buildup curves. The method can also include creating a production job instruction/metadata file having a link to the design instruction/metadata file and including parameters associated with the colorant dispensing job to be carried out using the design instruction/metadata file.

An information processing apparatus includes circuitry and a memory, the circuitry performing perceptual image conversion of converting two image data generated from one color image data respectively into perceptual images based on human visual characteristics, collation of determining whether the two perceptual images converted by the perceptual image conversion are same, and comparison result outputting of outputting the comparison result by the collation.

An image processing device includes circuitry. The circuitry is configured to process a background image into which a latent image is embedded, to obtain an effect to conceal the latent image. The circuitry is configured to perform color conversion of the background image to obtain a color-matching masking effect to conceal the latent image. The circuitry is configured to embed the latent image in the background image processed and converted, to generate an image embedded with the latent image.

An image processing apparatus for displaying on a display device an image corresponding to a printed product observed in a predetermined observation environment. The apparatus includes one or more memories storing instructions, and one or more processors executing the instructions to obtain image data, to obtain a lighting luminance in the predetermined observation environment, to set a maximum luminance to be displayed in the display device according to the obtained lighting luminance, to convert the obtained image data according to the obtained lighting luminance, and to output the converted image data to the display device whose maximum luminance to be displayed has been set according to the obtained lighting luminance.

Methods, systems and computer readable media for color management are described. A method includes obtaining first color information for each of a plurality of first samples of a first target color with a color measurement device connected to a computing device including a display. A digital color image of at least one first target color is displayed on the display. An offset value for each first target color is determined such that the digital color image of each first target color matches the corresponding first target color on each of the first samples. A second sample including a second target color is scanned to obtain second color information. A processor of the computing device determines, using the offset values of the first target colors, an interpolated offset for the display such that the digital image of the second target color matches the second target color.

A method and device for adjusting white balance and non-transitory computer readable storage medium are provided. The method is applied to a terminal including at least two cameras of different types and the method includes that whether a present capturing environmental parameter satisfies a first predetermined condition is determined while a first camera of the at least two cameras is performing a capturing operation; responsive to a determination that the present capturing environmental parameter satisfies the first predetermined condition, a second camera of the at least two cameras is pre-started while an image captured by the first camera is being displayed on a display of the terminal; a target white balance gain value corresponding to the second camera is determined according to an image presently captured by the second camera; when the present capturing environmental parameter satisfies a second predetermined condition, starting the second camera, wherein the second predetermined condition is closer to a capturing environmental parameter of the second camera than the first predetermined condition; and after the second camera is started, the white balance is adjusted on the image captured by the second camera according to the target white balance gain value.

In a first aspect, the invention relates to a method for improving an image quality when printing an electronic image file by a user, the method comprising (a) receiving an original electronic image file from a user, (b) generating a modified electronic image file, and (c) providing the modified image file to the user. In particular, other printing data are also received from the user, which printing data comprise at least a printer model and optionally a firmware version according to a non-limiting embodiment, in which the modified image file is generated taking into account said printer data. A method for printing a document includes receiving the document, the document including at least one element to be printed using a combination of a spot color and a print effect; receiving a spot color emulation definition for the spot color and the print effect, the spot color emulation definition including a spot color name, an indication of a device-independent color space, values for the spot color in the device-independent color space, and an additional ink parameter indicating at least one additional ink to produce the print effect; and printing the document using the spot color emulation definition.
