INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM, IMAGING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING IMAGING APPARATUS, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
There are provided an information processing system, an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, an information processing program, an imaging apparatus, a method of controlling the imaging apparatus, and a control program capable of easily performing color matching in a plurality of imaging apparatuses. The information processing system includes: an imaging apparatus that operates in a master mode; at least one imaging apparatus that operates in a slave mode; and an information processing apparatus. Each of the imaging apparatus in the master mode and the imaging apparatus in the slave mode sends a chart image generated by capturing an image of a specific chart to the information processing apparatus, and the information processing apparatus calculates a color conversion coefficient in the imaging apparatus in the slave mode on the basis of the chart image generated by the imaging apparatus in the master mode, and sends the color conversion coefficient to the imaging apparatus corresponding to the color conversion coefficient.
Color calibration
Certain examples described herein relate to color calibration. In certain cases, a plurality of test patches are printed with a printing system, the test patches corresponding to a set of initial color sample points and a set of test colors. Color properties of the printed test patches are measured. In certain examples, a gamut descriptor is identified from a plurality of gamut descriptors using the color properties of the test colors. Each gamut descriptor defines a set of up-sampling parameters for a particular color gamut. Measured color properties for the initial color sample points are up-sampled using the set of up-sampling parameters for the identified gamut descriptor to generate up-sampled data. In certain cases, the up-sampled data is used to generate a color mapping to be applied to print job data received by the printing system.
Printing by printing fluid transfer
In an example of a printing system, the amount of a printing fluid that is transferred from a developer unit onto an imaging plate is varied in order to alter the optical density of an area covered by the printing fluid.
SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed is a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. The signal processing device includes: a linear tone mapper configured to perform linear tone mapping on a part of an input image; a non-linear tone mapper configured to perform non-linear tone mapping on another part of the input image; and a combiner configured to combine an output from the linear tone mapper and an output from the non-linear tone mapper. Accordingly, it is possible to map the dynamic range of an input image to a display.
Method and apparatus for encoding color mapping information and processing pictures based on color mapping information
Color mapping information can be used to transform one color to another color. The present embodiments provide a solution for representing the color mapping information using a successive application of multiple color mapping functions. Parameters for the multiple color mapping functions can be encoded into a bitstream. In one embodiment, color mapping functions are consecutively applied on their own domains of definition only. In another embodiment, the first color mapping (CRI1) is applied on its domain of definition only, but the second color mapping is applied only on samples that have been previously color mapped by CRI1 and which are also inside the domain of definition of the second color mapping function. At the decode side, the multiple color mapping functions can be reconstructed and successively applied to a decoded picture to generate another picture.

Multiple day mapping index aggregation and comparison
Index-based geospatial analysis may include applying a first and second index-based analysis for a set of imagery. The set of imagery may include a location-specific index values used to form a histogram for a single index image (e.g., for a single surveyed field). This first analysis may be referred to as an acre-to-acre mapping, which may be useful for identifying differences in indices (e.g., NDVI vegetative health) of different parts of the field from a single day. A second day-to-day index-based analysis may be performed by calculating a histogram for each set of imagery from multiple days, combining the histograms, and generating a single equal-area index map. The index map can be applied to redistribute the histogram values within multiple days of data, which may provide a more useful map of variation in each individual image and changes between images.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing is configured to convert a color of a first object into gray having first brightness and a color of a second object into gray having second brightness lower than the first brightness by a fixed value in response to receiving color data including the first object and the second object, and output gray data based on the first brightness of gray into which the color of the first object is converted and the second brightness of gray into which the color of the second object is converted.
IMAGE CATALOGER BASED ON GRIDDED COLOR HISTOGRAM ANALYSIS
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for cataloging images based on a gridded color histogram analysis. The computer accesses an image gallery specified by a user, wherein the image gallery is at least one of an image gallery stored on a user computing device, an image gallery stored on a user account at a third-party image storage, or an image gallery searched on the web. The computer receives a request to search the image gallery specified by the user. The computer performs a search of the image gallery, wherein the search is using a color based histogram algorithm based on a user input. The computer transmits a cataloged and sorted image gallery to the user computing device to be displayed.
