The color patch image includes several different colors indexed by a color number value. A color patch number input screen is then displayed and includes a color to be adjusted input field and a target color input field. User inputs for a first color patch number and a second color patch number are received via the displayed screen. The processor then performs a color conversion such that the first color patch number corresponds to the second color patch number when the printer unit prints an image using the image data.

An image processing apparatus includes a processor. The processor is configured to execute a program to generate a post-color conversion image from a pre-color conversion image using a color conversion model, calculate a color conversion precision of the post-color conversion image using a precision of the color conversion model, specify a region, the color conversion precision of which is equal to or less than a threshold, and display, of the post-color conversion image, a post-color conversion image, the region of which with the color conversion precision being equal to or less than the threshold has a size that is larger than a criterion determined in advance.

An image processing apparatus includes a first setting unit configured to set a target range of a luminance level, and a generation unit configured to generate a processed image by performing image processing on a first region of an image in such a manner that the first region is distinguished from a second region and a third region, the first region having a luminance level included in the target range and having a color not included in a target color gamut, the second region having a luminance level not included in the target range and having a color not included in the target color gamut, and the third region having a luminance level not included in the target range and having a color included in the target color gamut.

The method includes receiving an input of selecting a first color from a first color image, scanning, a reference image including at least one reference color that is used to reproduce a color, receiving an input of selecting a second color from the at least one reference color, based on scan color data in which characteristics of the image forming apparatus obtained by scanning a color compensation chart representing a color space have been reflected, determining a second color scan value of the second color as a second color value of the second color from which the characteristics of the image forming apparatus have been removed, and converting a first color value of the first color into the second color value of the second color and outputting the first color image having the second color instead of the first color.

A non-transitory recording medium for an information processing apparatus having a computer program that, when executed by a hardware circuitry of the information processing apparatus, causes the information processing apparatus to request an image forming apparatus to print a document by executing steps of receiving a position of a specific color area which is printed with a specific color; and sending information of the specific color area including the received position of the specific color area and data of the document to the image forming apparatus.
