INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to execute a process of detecting an object that includes readable information regarding spot color designation in document data, excluding the detected object from a drawing target at a time of outputting the document data, and reflecting spot color drawing designated by the readable information on the drawing target.
Detection of images in relation to targets based on colorspace transformation techniques and utilizing infrared light
Techniques to improve detection and security of images, including formation and detection of matrix-based images. Some techniques include logic to process image data, generate one or more colorspaces associated with that data, and perform colorspace conversions based on the generated colorspace. The logic may be further configured to generate an image based on the colorspace conversions, including but not limited to a matrix bar code. The logic may be further configured to apply one or both of an ultraviolet layer and an infrared layer to the image, e.g. matrix barcode, generated from the colorspace conversion(s). Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Image processing apparatus to extract luminance data from image data, method for controlling the same, and storage medium
There are provided an image processing apparatus and a control method for controlling the image processing apparatus. The control method includes extracting a high-luminance region including a high-luminance pixel having a higher luminance than a predetermined luminance included in received image data, expanding the high-luminance region by setting pixel values of pixels configuring a surrounding region of the high-luminance region determined based on an area of the high-luminance region to the same pixel value as the high-luminance pixel, and outputting image data having the expanded high-luminance region.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM SUITABLE FOR EXTRACTING AREAS IN IMAGES SPECIFIED BY HANDWRITTEN MARKER BY LINE MARKER SUCH AS HIGHLIGHTER PEN OR THE LIKE, AND ELECTRONIC MARKER BY DIGITAL PEN
Provided is an image forming apparatus that extracts an area indicated by a marker. A scanner unit reads a first document having an area indicated by a handwritten marker. A panel unit displays first image data of the first document read by the scanner unit or second image data of the second document stored in a storage device. An electronic marker input unit indicates an area by an electronic marker with respect to the second image data. An area extracting unit, based on a hue difference, which is a difference between a color of the first document read by the scanner unit and a color of the handwritten marker, corrects a hue difference, which is a difference between a color of the second document and a color of the electronic marker, and extracts an area indicated by the handwritten marker or an area by the electronic marker.
Image processing device and method for conducting image formation of a masked read image
According to an embodiment, an image processing device includes a document read unit, a display unit, input receiving unit, an image processing unit, and image forming unit. The document read unit reads a document. The display unit displays a read image that is read by the document read unit. The input receiving unit receives user's input of information at any position on the read image that is displayed on the display unit. The image processing unit masks at least part of the read image based on the information received by the input receiving unit. The image forming unit conducts image formation of the read image that is masked by the image processing unit.
Image processing apparatus, scanner, image forming apparatus, data management system, and image processing method
An image processing apparatus includes circuitry to receive visible image data obtained by reading of a subject with a sensor having sensitivity to visible light in a visible wavelength range and invisible image data obtained by reading of the subject with a sensor having sensitivity to invisible light in an invisible wavelength range. The circuitry generates image data for displaying, in a designated color, a portion of the visible image data corresponding to a designated region of the invisible image data. The designated region has an absorption rate equal to or higher than a predetermined absorption rate.
IMAGE READING DEVICE AND SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE
An image reading device that reads an image including a fluorescent color, including: a first light source having a maximum light emission intensity at a first wavelength; a second light source having a maximum light emission intensity at a second wavelength that is longer than the first wavelength; and an image reading chip configured to read the image. The image reading chip includes a pixel including a photodetector that performs photoelectric conversion on light received from the image, and the spectral sensitivity of the photodetector when photoelectric conversion is performed takes a maximum value at light having a wavelength in a region from 400 nm to 500 nm inclusive.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
According to an embodiment, an image processing device includes a document read unit, a display unit, input receiving unit, an image processing unit, and image forming unit. The document read unit reads a document. The display unit displays a read image that is read by the document read unit. The input receiving unit receives user's input of information at any position on the read image that is displayed on the display unit. The image processing unit masks at least part of the read image based on the information received by the input receiving unit. The image forming unit conducts image formation of the read image that is masked by the image processing unit.
CONVERSION OF MECHANICAL MARKINGS ON A HARDCOPY DOCUMENT INTO MACHINE-ENCODED ANNOTATIONS
Techniques for converting mechanical markings on hardcopy textual content into digital annotations in a digital document file. In accordance with some embodiments, the techniques include identifying at least one block of text in a digital (scanned) image of a hardcopy document, and identifying at least one mechanical marking in the digital image of the hardcopy document. The mechanical marking, such as an underline, strike-through, highlight or circle, covers or lies adjacent to the corresponding block of text. An annotated digital document file is generated from the digital image of the hardcopy document. The annotated digital document file includes computer-executable instructions representing the original text of the hardcopy document and at least one annotation corresponding to the mechanical marking in the hardcopy document.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a reading section and an image forming section. The reading section reads a plurality of images formed on a document. The image forming section forms the images on a plurality of sheets. The images include a first image having a first color, and one or more second images having a second color differing from the first color. The sheets include a first sheet and a second sheet differing from the first sheet. The image forming section forms the first image on the first sheet and the second images on the second sheet.
