METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PROCESSING MOTION-BASED IMAGE
20180164586 · 2018-06-14 · ·

Disclosed are methods and devices for processing a motion-based image by determining a rendering time point that reflects a recent user motion. The methods include obtaining commands or data used in graphics rendering from a memory; determining a rendering time point of a first frame between continuous vertical synchronization signals based on an expected rendering time of the first frame; and rendering the motion-based image based on the commands or the data, and motion-related data corresponding to the rendering time point of the first frame.

A buffering method for video playing includes: playing a video according to an amount of video buffer data and a predefined playing threshold, and monitoring a network speed; determining whether the network speed meets a predefined condition; and updating a previously set video buffer depth and the playing threshold according to the network speed if the network speed meets the predefined condition. A storage medium and device are also provided.

System And Related Method For Synchronized Capture Of Data By Multiple Network-Connected Capture Devices

A system includes at least two capture devices, each switchable from a respective idle mode to a respective recording mode upon receipt of a trigger signal from a trigger via a network. A controller saves data packets generated by the capture devices during the respective idle modes to a short-term memory, and saves data packets generated during the respective recording modes to a long-term memory such that the data packets form respective saved data streams. The synchronizer sends a sync signal to the capture devices via the network. The compensator determines respective delay periods between sending of the sync signal by the synchronizer and receipt of the sync signal by each of the capture devices, and transfers from the short-term memory to the long-term memory any data packets generated during the respective delay period.

Reduction in reproduction quality is suppressed in an imaging device that images a sound and a moving image. A frame rate converter converts a frame rate of a frame captured outside a predetermined period among a plurality of frames captured at a predetermined frame rate to a low frame rate lower than the predetermined frame rate. A duplication unit duplicates an original sound signal recorded over the predetermined period to generate a plurality of duplicated sound signals each of which is identical to the original sound signal. The audio signal processing unit performs different signal processing on each of the plurality of duplicated sound signals.

AUTOMATICALLY SYNCHRONIZING MULTIPLE REAL-TIME VIDEO SOURCES

Systems, methods and computer program products to perform an operation comprising receiving a first video frame specifying a first timestamp from a first video source, receiving a second video frame specifying a second timestamp from a second video source, wherein the first and second timestamps are based on a remote time source, determining, based on a local time source, that the first timestamp is later in time than the second timestamp, and storing the first video frame in a buffer for alignment with a third video frame from the second video source.

CONTROL APPARATUS FOR IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS
20170034402 · 2017-02-02 ·

Provided is a control apparatus for an image pickup apparatus that can synchronize an image sensor with a frame period from an external device, such as a display apparatus, without use of any frame buffer, while optimizing the frequency of a clock signal used for the operation of the image sensor. An image sensor (11) receives a trigger signal from an external device (2), such as a display apparatus, and image data from an image sensor (11); calculates, for each frame, information of a time difference from the trigger signal to a time at which to start the output of the image data; and establishes, on the basis of the information of the time difference, a frame period of the image sensor (11) such that the time difference is accommodated within a given range, thereby allowing the image data to be supplied to the external device (2) within a given time difference relative to the trigger signal, though some degree of variation occurring in each frame.

Multiplexer according to the present invention includes: an input unit to which a plurality of image signals based on a first data communication standard are input, the image signals being acquired by respective imaging devices; an output unit that outputs an image signal based on a second data communication standard having a data transfer rate lower than that of the first data communication standard; and a storage unit that temporarily buffers the image signals input from the input unit. With such a multiplexer, it is possible to collectively convert the image data acquired by a plurality of imaging devices adopting a certain data communication standard into another data communication standard and suppress the data transfer delay caused by the conversion.
