SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ESTABLISHING AND ENFORCING TRANSACTION-BASED RESTRICTIONS USING HYBRID PUBLIC-PRIVATE BLOCKCHAIN LEDGERS

The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods that generate secured blockchain-based ledger structures that facilitate event-based control of tracked assets. In one embodiment, an apparatus associated with a rules authority of the secured blockchain-based ledger may obtain data indicative of an initiated transfer of funds between parties, and may access and decrypt a set of restrictions imposed on the initiated transfer and a set of rules associated with the restrictions, which may hashed into the secured blockchain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may determine that the initiated transfer violates at least one of the restrictions, and may perform operations consistent with at least one of the rules associated with the at least one violated restriction.

PRODUCT TRACKING AND CONTROL SYSTEM

An apparatus for use in a product tracking system includes a storage device and a processor, the storage device storing software instructions that when executed by the processor configure the processor to: receive a signal representing data including event information detailing an event involving a manufactured product; load a portion of a block-chain ledger for tracking information associated with the product, the block-chain ledger including, within a block thereof and associated with the product, trigger-event data reflecting an event trigger and rules data reflecting a rule associated with the event trigger; and compare the event information with the trigger-event data, wherein the event trigger identifies a causal relationship between a possible event involving the product and an operation with respect to the product.

SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR TRACKING SUBDIVIDED OWNERSHIP OF CONNECTED DEVICES USING BLOCK-CHAIN LEDGERS

The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods for generating secured block-chain-based ledger data structures that track subdivide ownership and usage of one or more assets, such as Internet-connected devices. In one instance, an apparatus associated with a rules authority of the secured block-chain-based ledger may detect an occurrence of a triggering event related to at least one of partial ownership interests in the assets, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured block-chain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule, including a generation of additional data blocks reflecting a change in at least one of the partial ownership interests, and additionally or alternatively, processes that adaptively monitor a compliance of one or more partial owners with an Imposed usage restriction.

Systems and Methods for Monitoring Construction Projects

A system includes devices and sensors associated with a construction site for a project. A computing apparatus, communicates with the devices and the sensors, includes a storage device and a processor. The storage device stores software instructions for controlling the processor that when executed by the processor configures the processor to obtain a predetermined construction schedule with terms for the project. The processor obtains sets of data that each corresponds to a different term. The processor generates a distributed listing for the project, which includes a sequence of a plurality of units corresponding to different terms and sets of data. The processor receives a signal from one of the sensors, wherein the signal is representative of a progress event. The processor identifies whether the progress event at the site corresponds to one of the terms in the schedule and updates and saves the distributed listing when a correspondence is identified.

SECURE REAL-TIME PRODUCT OWNERSHIP TRACKING USING DISTRIBUTED ELECTRONIC LEDGERS

A processor receives a signal representing data including event information detailing an event involving an entity having a registered ownership interest in a product and loads a portion of a distributed electronic ledger for tracking ownership information associated with the product. The distributed electronic ledger includes, within a block thereof and associated with the product, an event trigger list including entity data associated with each entity having a registered ownership interest in the product and a rules engine including rules associated with event triggers in the event trigger list. The processor determines whether a triggering event corresponding to the event is stored in the event trigger list and, when the event has a corresponding triggering event, determines the associated rule within the rules engine. The processor updates and saves the distributed electronic ledger by performing an action specified by the determined associated rule.

DOCUMENT TRACKING ON A DISTRIBUTED LEDGER

An apparatus for use in electronic document control includes a storage device a processor coupled to the storage device. The storage device storing software instructions for controlling the processor that when executed by the processor configure the processor to: receive a signal representing data including an original document, append a unique identifier to the original document to generate a modified document, generate a hash value of the modified document, and transmit the hash value corresponding to the modified document to an electronic distributed ledger.

Systems and Methods for Monitoring Referrals

A system includes a first client device that is coupled to a second client device. An apparatus, coupled to the first and second devices, includes a storage device coupled to a processor. The storage device stores software instructions for controlling the processor that when executed configures the processor to generate a listing of expected values and referral events associated with a tracked matter. Each referral event corresponds to a different expected value and the distributed listing includes a sequence of units corresponding to different expected values and corresponding referral events. The processor receives a notification from one of the first or second device that is representative of a referral operation between the first and second location. The processor determines an outcome value for the referral operation and identifies whether the determined outcome value is accurate based on the distributed listing.

SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR TRACKING BEHAVIOR OF NETWORKED DEVICES USING HYBRID PUBLIC-PRIVATE BLOCKCHAIN LEDGERS

The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods for generating secured blockchain-based ledger data structures that track an ownership and usage of one or more assets, such as Internet-connected devices. In one instance, an apparatus associated with a rules authority of the secured blockchain-based ledger may detect an occurrence of a triggering event, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured blockchain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule, including a determination of metrics indicative of a care, risk, and/or valuation of one or more of the Internet-connected devices, and additionally or alternatively, a modification of an operational or communicative functionality of the Internet-connected devices.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRACKING AND TRANSFERRING OWNERSHIP OF CONNECTED DEVICES USING BLOCKCHAIN LEDGERS

The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods that generate secured blockchain-based ledger structures that facilitate event-based control of tracked assets. In one embodiment, an apparatus associated with a centralized authority of the secured blockchain-based ledger may detect an occurrence of an event, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured blockchain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule and involving at least one of assets tracked within the secured blockchain-based ledger or an owner of a portion of the tracked assets. By way of example, the detected event may triggering a sale, transfer, and/or re-allocation of an ownership interest in a tracked asset, and the identified rule may specify a distribution of proceeds derived from the sale, transfer, and/or re-allocation.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AND RESOLVING DATA INCONSISTENCIES AMONG NETWORKED DEVICES USING HYBRID PRIVATE-PUBLIC BLOCKCHAIN LEDGERS

The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods that generate secured blockchain-based ledger structures that facilitate event-based control of tracked assets. In one embodiment, an apparatus associated with a centralized authority of the secured blockchain-based ledger may detect an occurrence of a triggering event, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured blockchain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule. In some aspects, the detected event may correspond to a dispute involving one or more terms or conditions of a contractual agreement between a first party and one or more second parties, and the performed operations may resolve the dispute.
