Apparatuses and methods for transmitting or receiving a broadcast content via one or more networks
The present invention relates to an apparatus for supporting hybrid broadcasting in a digital broadcasting system. The present invention provides an apparatus for receiving a broadcast content via one or more networks. The apparatus comprises a broadcast network interface for receiving a broadcast stream including a first portion of the broadcast content via a broadcast network; a heterogeneous network interface for receiving a heterogeneous stream including a second portion of the broadcast content via a heterogeneous network; and wherein the broadcast stream further includes timeline reference signaling information containing metadata for synchronizing streams transmitted via the one or more networks, and wherein the timeline reference signaling information includes at least one timeline reference information reconstituting timeline of at least one of the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream, a processor for configuring the broadcast content using the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream based on the timeline reference signaling information. The present invention is effective in easily synchronizing transport streams transmitted through each of heterogeneous networks.
DYNAMIC DELAY EQUALIZATION FOR MEDIA TRANSPORT
Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide for dynamic delay equalization of related media signals in a media transport system. Methods include receiving a plurality of related media signals, transporting the related media signals along different media paths, calculating uncorrected propagation delays for the media paths, and delaying each of the related media signals by an amount related to the difference between the longest propagation delay (of the uncorrected propagation delays) and the uncorrected propagation delay of the related media signal/media path. Calculating the uncorrected propagation delays and delaying the related media signals may be performed in response to a change to the propagation delay of at least one of the related media signals/media paths. Additionally or alternatively, calculating the uncorrected propagation delays and delaying the related media signals may be performed while transporting the related media signals.
MICRO LED 8K VIDEO PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed are a Micro LED 8K video processing system and method therefor. The system comprises: a television signal source, used for outputting video sources having different resolutions; a video processing board, used for receiving the video sources output by the television signal source, identifying the resolutions of the video sources, stretching or compressing the video sources according to the resolution required to be output to obtain a video image, segmenting the video image into multiple video signals, synchronously sending the multiple video signals to 4K signal processing boards, and sending an audio decoding signal in the video sources to a loudspeaker; the 4K signal processing boards, used for decoding the received video signals into RGB pixel signals, and sending the RGB pixel signals to a Micro LED display screen; and the Micro LED display screen, used for lighting the entire screen according to the RGB pixel signals.
Synchronization and presentation of multiple 3D content streams
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for synchronization and presentation of multiple 3D content streams. Example methods may include determining a first content stream of 3D content to send to a user device, where movement of the user device causes presentation of different portions of the 3D content at the user device, and determining a first position of the user device. Some methods may include causing presentation of a first portion of the first content stream at the user device, where the first portion corresponds to the first position, determining a second content stream of 3D content, where movement of the user device causes presentation of different portions of the 3D content at the user device, and causing presentation of a second portion of the second content stream at the user device, where the second portion corresponds to the first position of the user device.
Method and system for automatically synchronizing audio-video inputs in a multi-camera environment
Systems and methods for synchronizing video generated by a camera with media content generated by a media source external to the camera. A calibration procedure is performed in which a time delay is determined that includes a camera delay associated with the camera. A display device displays a sequence of images comprising a first image displayed for a first time period and a second image displayed for a second time period. The camera captures a plurality of captured images capturing display of the sequence of images and a transmitter device coupled to the camera transmits the captured images to a hub. The hub determines a target image of the captured images corresponding to display of the second image. The time delay is determined based on a difference between a time associated with the target image and a time associated with the second image.
Providing audio data for a video frame
In some implementations, a device includes one or more processors and a non-transitory memory. In some implementations, a method includes determining that a video frame to be presented at a client device includes a portion that corresponds to a particular playback position within a video content item. In some implementations, the method includes obtaining audio data that corresponds to the particular playback position within the video content item. In some implementations, the method includes transmitting the audio data to the client device separate from the video frame.

The present disclosure relates to the field of multimedia technology, and more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for playing multimedia data, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method for playing multimedia data includes: acquiring, in response to a first trigger operation for first multimedia data currently being played as received via a first interface of a first platform, second multimedia data corresponding to the first multimedia data and playing the second multimedia data on the first platform. With the method for playing multimedia data according to the present disclosure, it is possible to shorten the length of the path from playing the first multimedia data to playing the second multimedia data, thereby improving the efficiency in playing the second multimedia data.

An electronic device includes a first interface configured to obtain a first media data of a first source device; a second interface configured to obtain a second media data of a second source device; a processing device configured to generate a third media data; and an output device configured to output media data. The media data may be the first media data, the second media data, or the third media data. The third media data affects the first media data or the second media data if the third media data and the first media data are simultaneously outputted, or the third media data and the second media data are simultaneously outputted. The processing device is configured to process the first media data and the second media data to obtain a processing result, the processing result being used to generate presentation data indicating correspondences between interfaces and the media data.
Timing synchronization between a content source and a display panel
Technology for a display device is described. The display device can include at least one display screen operable to show at least one display panel. The display device can include a controller. The controller can receive a content frame from a content source over a transport topology. The controller can receive a presentation timestamp (PTS) associated with the content frame, where the PTS indicates an earliest time at which the content frame is to be displayed at the display device. The controller can provide the content frame for display on the display panel at a subsequent panel refresh opportunity in accordance with the PTS.
System and method for management and presentation of alternate media
A system and method for the automatic management of the presentation of information from two or more media sources. This automatic management includes the selective viewing of video information on a prescribed screen, screen window or screen configuration, as well as the selective provision of audio information to a particular port or appliance. This management is performed in response to and a s a function of consumer preferences, as well as the source, type and content of the video and audio information. The management system may be entirely located within the consumer's residence, or reside in whole or in part in a connected network or cloud. The system can initiate video/audio management in an entirely autonomous manner, or initiate only in response to user input (keypad, graphical user interface, voice, etc.).
