Methods and Systems for Utilizing Live Embedded Tracking Data within a Live Sports Video Stream

A computing system receives a video stream of a game. The computing system generates tracking data corresponding to the video stream using one or more artificial intelligence models. The computing system generates interactive video data by combining the video stream of the game with the tracking data. The computing system causes a media player to render graphics corresponding to the tracking data over the video stream by sending the interactive video data to a client device executing the media player.

A logger or annotator views video in a window or user interface (UI) of a computing device and enters time-stamped metadata or commentary; that metadata or commentary is then automatically displayed on a timeline or other time-based index in a different window or user interface of a second computing device used by a viewer or editor of that video. The metadata or commentary is represented by a marker or icon appearing on a timeline displayed in the window or user interface of a second computing device, and the metadata or commentary is shown when the viewer or editor selects that marker or icon.

Accessibility Enhanced Content Rendering

A user system for rendering accessibility enhanced content includes processing hardware, a display, and a memory storing software code. The processing hardware executes the software code to receive primary content from a content distributor and determine whether the primary content is accessibility enhanced content including an accessibility track. When the primary content omits the accessibility track, the processing hardware executes the software code to perform a visual analysis, an audio analysis, or both, of the primary content, generate, based on the visual analysis and/or the audio analysis, the accessibility track to include at least one of a sign language performance or one or more video tokens configured to be played back during playback of the primary content, and synchronize the accessibility track to the primary content. The processing hardware also executes the software code to render, using the display, the primary content or the accessibility enhanced content.

A system for distributing sign language enhanced content includes a computing platform having processing hardware and a system memory storing a software code. The processing hardware is configured to execute the software code to receive content including at least one of a sequence of audio frames or a sequence of video frames, perform an analysis of the content, and identify, based on the analysis, a message conveyed by the content. The processing hardware is further configured to execute the software code to generate a sign language translation of the content, the sign language translation including one or more of a gesture, body language, or a facial expression communicating the message conveyed by the content.

SYSTEM FOR INGESTING ALTERNATIVE VIDEO AND/OR AUDIO MEDIA SYNCHRONIZED WITH THE DISPLAY OF VIDEO AND AUDIO CONTENT OF LINEAR ORIGIN, AND RELATED IMPLEMENTATION METHOD

The present invention relates to a system installed in the digital TV receiver that provides the broadcaster with a secure method for ingesting alternative video and/or audio media, in place of passages of main video and/or audio, with a view to customizing the experience of the consumer identified during the digital video and/or audio consumer experience. The system is intended to provide the consumer with the best possible experience without any interruptions, loss of fluidity or loss of consistency in the playback of the alternative video and/or audio. The system provides a method for continuously verifying suitable conditions for playing back alternative video and audio.

VIDEO STREAM INTERFACE BASED ON THIRD-PARTY WEBPAGE INFORMATION

Techniques for display using a video stream interface based on third-party webpage information are disclosed. Information on one or more products is obtained from a website by a third party. The one or more products comprise a product, a service, a coupon, or a membership. A video about the one or more products is rendered by a video user interface to a user. The video user interface comprises a video player in combination with a user interface. The video user interface and the third party are interfaced between each other based on a user interaction with the video user interface. Product information is fetched from a server based on the interfacing between the video user interface and the third party. Further product information comprises a reaction, a chat, a transaction, a promotion, and an interaction. The video is augmented with further information based on the fetching.

Generating verified content profiles for user generated content

Systems and methods for searching, identifying, scoring, and providing access to companion media assets for a primary media asset are disclosed. In response to a request for companion content, metadata within a predefined time period of a play position when the request was made, is downloaded. A dynamic search template that contains search parameters based on the downloaded metadata is generated. In response to the search conducted using the search template, a plurality of companion media assets are identified and then verified. A trust score for the companion media asset is accessed. The trust score may be analyzed and modified based on its contextual relationship to the play position of the primary media asset. If the trust score is within a rating range, then a link to access the companion media asset, or a specific segment or play position within the companion media asset, is provided.

An information processing apparatus is provided. The information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to receive a manifest file for a content stream. The processing circuitry is configured to notify an application, based on the received manifest file, of one or more event schemes in a timed metadata track of the content stream. The processing circuitry is configured to receive, from the application, a subscription request to an event scheme of the one or more event schemes. Further, the processing circuitry is configured to dispatch to the application, based on the received subscription request, event messages associated with the event scheme in the timed metadata track.

Content-modification system with jitter effect mitigation feature

One high-level aspect of a content-modification system and related methods may involve facilitating content modification by a content-presentation device of received broadcast content in a controlled manner, while under circumstances in which some events that can impact timing may be unpredictable. In particular, certain operations by a content-presentation device may involve matching received content with specific expected content as determined by one or another component of the content-modification system, in order to confirm proper conditions are met for the content-presentation device to proceed with, or continue, content-modification operations. It can happen the matching procedure becomes subject or susceptible to timing irregularities, or jitter. In some instances, jitter may impact the ability to derive the benefits of content modification. Accordingly, example embodiments herein are directed to systems and method for compensation and/or mitigating the effects of jitter.

Expiring synchronized supplemental content in time-shifted media

Systems and methods are described for providing interactive content contextually related to an occurrence. An illustrative method generates for display, at a media consumption device, a display of the live event, wherein the display of the live event comprises the occurrence, determines a beginning of the occurrence in the display of the live event, in response to determining the beginning of the occurrence in the display of the live event, generates for simultaneous display, with the display of the live event, interactive content related to the occurrence, determines whether the occurrence in the live event has ended in real time, and in response to determining that the occurrence in the live event has ended in real time, ceases the generating for display of the interactive content related to the occurrence.
