Interactive video overlay with persistent cart

Systems and methods are provided for enabling in-video shopping functionality that includes a cross-video shopping cart. For example, a user may add items to an electronic shopping cart that is persistent across two different websites or pages, where items may be added to the shopping cart within overlays on two separate videos presented on the respective pages. The persistent shopping cart features may also enable a persistent shopping cart that enables joint checkout involving two or more different payment processors, two or more different third-party shopping systems, two or more different publisher systems, two or more different video hosting platforms, or two or more different client devices sharing a user account.

SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING CONTENT ITEM
20170311021 · 2017-10-26 · ·

The present disclosure provides a system, a method, and a device for displaying a content item. The system includes: a video playing terminal, configured to obtain a video and play the video; a content item displaying client, configured to send a content item obtaining request for requesting to obtain a content item related to the video being played by the video playing terminal; and a content item preparation platform, configured to determine a current playing moment of the video played by the video playing terminal, select, from one or more content items corresponding to the video, a content item with a marking moment nearest to the current playing moment, and push the selected content item to the content item displaying client, where the content item displaying client is further configured to display the received content item.

Karaoke Content Watch Parties
20230179822 · 2023-06-08 · ·

Systems, devices and processes for facilitating a Karaoke content watch party (KWP) may include a sync server and a Karaoke presenter user device (KPUD) communicatively coupled thereto. The KPUD executes computer instructions for operations that instruct a content capture device (CCD) to capture and receive a Karaoke Reaction (KR) by a KPUD user and communicate the KR to the sync server. A Karaoke user device (KUD) may be communicatively coupled to the sync server. A content provider provides Karaoke Content (KC) to the KPUD and the KUD. The KC includes a KC segment. The sync server receives the KR from the KPUD, generates Karaoke secondary content (KSC) which includes the KR, communicates the KSC to the KUD, and may also generate Karaoke synchronization information (KSI) and communicate the KSI to the KUD. The KSI facilitates synchronized presentation, by the KUD, of the KR with the KC segment.

Deepfake Content Watch Parties
20230179823 · 2023-06-08 · ·

Devices, systems and process for facilitating a Deepfake content watch party (DFWP) are disclosed. A system includes server, Deepfake presenter user device (DFPUD), Deepfake user device (DFUD), and content provider. The DFPUD instructs a content capture device (CCD) to capture a Deepfake Reaction (DFR) by a DFPUD user; receives the DFR from the CCD; and communicates the DFR to the server. The content provider provides Deepfake Content (DFC) segments, which include a Deepfake Target (DFT), and Deepfake Augmented Content (DFAC), which identifies a Deepfake model for the DFT. The server, based on the DFR, generates a Deepfake Subject (DFS), identifying a DFPUD user characteristic, generates Deepfake secondary content (DFSC), and communicates DFSC to the DFUD. The DFUD integrates the DFSC with the DFC to facilitate presentation of DFRs in a DFWP.

SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS OF VIDEO AFFILIATE CONTENT LINKING
20220060803 · 2022-02-24 ·

An affiliate linking system may create affiliate video data that causes a clickable graphical object to be rendered overlaid on video content. The clickable graphical object may include an affiliate link that when accessed, gains credit for a lead generated by the act of accessing the computing resource indicated by the link. The clickable graphical object may be synchronized to a timeframe within the video to coincide with actions or objects within the video. The affiliate video data that causes video content to be overlaid with an affiliate layer can be shared via social media, email, text, or other communication methods.

MONITORING AUDIO-VISUAL CONTENT WITH CAPTIONS
20170302989 · 2017-10-19 ·

To monitor audio-visual content which includes captions, caption fingerprints are derived from a length of each word in the caption, without regard to the identity of the character or characters forming the word. Audio-visual content is searched to identify a caption event having a matching fingerprint and missing captions; caption timing errors and caption discrepancies are measured.

SYNCHRONIZING ANCILLARY DATA TO CONTENT INCLUDING AUDIO

Synchronizing ancillary data to content including audio includes obtaining a representation of the content's audio and ancillary data pegged to instants in the representation of the content's audio, and aligning the representation of the content's audio to the content's audio to synchronize the ancillary data pegged to the instants in the representation of the content's audio to the content.

AUGMENTED REALITY FILTERS FOR CAPTURED AUDIOVISUAL PERFORMANCES

Visual effects, including augmented reality-type visual effects, are applied to audiovisual performances with differing visual effects and/or parameterizations thereof applied in correspondence with computationally determined audio features or elements of musical structure coded in temporally-synchronized tracks or computationally determined therefrom. Segmentation techniques applied to one or more audio tracks (e.g., vocal or backing tracks) are used to compute some of the components of the musical structure. In some cases, applied visual effects are based on an audio feature computationally extracted from a captured audiovisual performance or from an audio track temporally-synchronized therewith.

Recording and playback system based on multimedia content fingerprints
09781377 · 2017-10-03 · ·

A method for recording media content based on media content fingerprints is described. A media device records content received in a content stream from a scheduled start time of a media content to a scheduled end time of the media content to create a content recording. The media device derives one or more fingerprints from the content recording. A fingerprint database is queried with the one or more fingerprints to determine that a first portion of the content recording comprises an advertisement and a second portion of the content recording comprises the media content. In response to a request to play the content recording, starting playback of the content recording at the beginning of the second portion of the content recording.

INTERACTIVE VIDEO OVERLAY
20220053233 · 2022-02-17 ·

Systems and methods are provided for enabling in-video shopping functionality during presentation of live streaming video content. A system may initiate a video streaming support instance based on a request from a streamer device. The system may then send code to one or more client devices viewing a live video stream of the streamer device, where the code causes the client devices to present, in association with the live video stream, an interactive shopping overlay configured to listen for item information from the system. During the live video stream, in response to the system receiving an instruction from the streamer device to insert a product or other item into the interactive shopping overlay, the system may send information to the client devices that causes the interactive shopping overlay on each client device to present the specified item as a selectable item displayed over the live streaming video.
