The controller may be configured to establish respective paired wireless connections with the wireless headphones, and provide selectable access to a plurality of different audio/video (A/V) entertainment content streams. Each of the A/V entertainment content streams may include a respective video entertainment stream and an associated audio entertainment stream. The controller may be further configured to send selected video entertainment content streams for viewing at the video entertainment displays, and send selected audio entertainment content streams over the respective paired wireless connections for hearing at the wireless headphones.
Systems and methods for asynchronous group consumption of streaming media
Systems and methods for providing asynchronous consumption of streaming media are disclosed. One computer-implemented method may include: receiving, from a first user device associated with a first user, a request to share a multimedia content with a second user, the request identifying the multimedia content, a first user profile associated with the first user, and data associated with the second user; retrieving a second user profile associated with the second user based on the received request; causing to be displayed, on a second user device associated with the second user, a notification alerting the second user of the request; receiving, from the second user device, a response accepting the request; and linking the first user profile with the second user profile for the shared multimedia content to enable viewing activity of both the first user and the second user to be shared and synced with one another.
Methods, systems, and media for synchronizing audio and video content on multiple media devices
Methods, systems, and media for synchronizing audio and video content on multiple media devices are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving, at a media device, an indication of a media content item to be presented using the media device, wherein the media device includes an audio component for presenting audio content associated with the media content item and a video component for presenting video content associated with the media content item; determining that the media device is associated with a group of media devices for presenting the media content item, wherein the group of media devices includes the media device and at least one audio device that presents the audio content associated with the media content item; generating an audio timestamp that controls the presentation of the audio content on the group of media devices; generating a video timestamp that control the presentation of the video content on the group of media devices, wherein the video timestamp is based on the generated audio timestamp; and causing, at the media device, the video content associated with the media content item to be presented using the generated video timestamp and causing the audio content associated with the media content item to be simultaneously presented by the at least one audio device in the group of media devices by transmitting the audio timestamp to the at least one audio device in the group of media devices.
Multi-screen interaction method and apparatus, and storage medium
A multi-screen interaction method includes: a first interface of a second terminal is projected on a display screen of a first terminal; detection is performed on a first operation acting on the first interface; and when the first operation on a first object in the first interface is detected, the first operation on the first object is responded in the first terminal.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR INTERACTIVE QUEUING FOR SHARED LISTENING SESSIONS
An electronic device generates a respective user queue for each user of a plurality of users participating in a shared listening session. While providing a first media content item for playback, the device receives a second request, from a first user, to add a second media content item to the shared playback queue and updates the respective user queue for the first user. After receiving the second request, the electronic device receives a third request, from a second user, to add a third media content item to the shared playback queue and updates the respective user queue for the second user. The electronic device updates the shared playback queue using the respective user queues of the first user and the second user, including positioning the third media content item in an order of the shared playback queue to be played back before the second media content item.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SYNCHRONOUSLY PLAYING VIDEO AMONG MULTIPLE DEVICES
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for synchronously playing video among multiple devices and belongs to the field of video playback technology. The method is performed by a master device among multiple synchronous playback devices which further include at least one slave device that is used to play a same video file as the master device. The method includes: obtaining a first start playback time point of a to-be-played key frame of the video file, in the video file; and sending, at a first moment, a synchronization instruction to the at least one slave device. The synchronization instruction includes indicating that the first start playback time point is a target synchronization time point, the first moment corresponds to a first playback progress time point in the video file, and the first playback progress time point is located before the first start playback time point. The technical solution of the present disclosure can realize synchronous video playback among multiple devices, with low implementation cost and high synchronization accuracy.
SYNCHRONIZED PLAYBACK OF MEDIA CONTENT
The subject technology provides for synchronized playback of different media content streams. The disclosed techniques may include determining, while certain audio content is being outputted, whether a triggering event has occurred at a media device. Responsive to a determination that the triggering event has occurred, audio information including identification information and a current output status of the audio content may be obtained, and a visual content stream for visual content corresponding to the audio content may be obtained. At the media device, the visual content stream may be processed based on the audio information to determine a starting time point indicating a time point within the visual content from which to start outputting the visual content. The visual content may be outputted such that the output of the visual content begins at the starting time point and is synchronized in time with the audio content.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELECTION AND TRANSMISSION OF PERSONALIZED CONTENT TRACKS
Systems and methods for a computer-based process that determines content display preferences of nearby detected devices, and transmits content tracks to those devices according to their individual preferences. For example, language preferences are determined from nearby devices, and content is played with corresponding language tracks sent to each device. In this manner, different tracks of content may be sent to different devices according to each device's preferences, so that individualized or personalized versions of content may be played for each different device. Thus, for instance, content may be played with different language tracks, where each track is selected to conform to the preferences of each different device. Accordingly, content may be played with different users or viewers experiencing the content in their preferred language. Embodiments of the disclosure also contemplate any other settings and preferences besides language.
Display synchronization using colored anchors
A method for distributing information includes producing a symbol to be overlaid on at least one primary image presented on a first display screen, the symbol encoding a specified digital value in a set of color elements having different, respective colors. A message is received from a client device containing an indication of the specified digital value decoded by the client device upon capturing and analyzing a secondary image of the first display screen. In response to the message, an item of information relating to the primary image is transmitted to the client device, for presentation on a second display screen associated with the client device.
Electronic apparatus and control method thereof
An electronic apparatus includes: a display; a communication circuit configured to communicate with an external apparatus; and a processor. The processor is configured to: transmit, to the external apparatus, a request to receive information on a screen which is currently displayed on the external apparatus, receive, from the external apparatus, a response corresponding to the request, based on the response, identify a number of contents displayed in the screen, based on identifying that a plurality of contents is displayed in the screen, display a UI on the display for selecting one among the plurality of contents, in response to a content, among the plurality of contents, being selected by a user input through the UI, transmit a signal indicating the selected content to the external apparatus, and receive, from the external apparatus, data corresponding to the content to display an image on the display.
