Systems and methods for navigating media assets
Systems and methods for presenting custom navigation options are described herein. In some embodiments, the media guidance application displays a first portion of a media asset, and receives a user selection of an entity depicted within the portion. The media guidance application identifies a playlist of media asset portions associated with the entity, and generates for display a transport bar associated with the entity comprising an indicator identifying the entity and only one or more regions associated with the playlist of media asset portions. The media guidance application then receives a second user selection, and generates for display a second portion of the media asset associated with the entity in response. In some embodiments, the media guidance application identifies the playlist by searching a custom presentation database for entries associated with the entity, and retrieves the playlist from the identified entry.
System and method for intelligently generating digital composites from user-provided graphics
A system and method for inserting a composited image or otherwise generated graphic into a selected video by way of a programmatic process. According to some embodiments, a system may comprise an Automated Placement Opportunity Identification (APOI) engine, a Placement Insertion Interface (PII) engine, a preview system, and an automated compositing service. The system finalizes a graphic composite into a video and provides a user with a preview for final export or further manipulation.
RANKING DATA OBJECTS USING MACHINE LEARNING AND SCORING TO CONFIGURE A GRAPHICAL INTERFACE
In general, embodiments of the present invention provide for ranking data objects using machine learning and scoring to configure a graphical interface. In this regard, a machine learning model is applied to data object attributes to generate data object relevance scores for the candidate data objects. Additionally, a respective personalization score for the candidate data objects is generated based at least in part on a compounded ratio and a geometric mean of the compounded ratio. The data object relevance scores for the candidate data objects are modified based at least in part on the respective personalization score for the candidate data objects to generate modified object relevance scores for the candidate data objects. The candidate data objects are then ranked based at least in part on the modified object relevance scores to generate a ranked data object set and to facilitate configuration of a graphical interface.

An electronic device includes a first interface configured to obtain a first media data of a first source device; a second interface configured to obtain a second media data of a second source device; a processing device configured to generate a third media data; and an output device configured to output media data. The media data may be the first media data, the second media data, or the third media data. The third media data affects the first media data or the second media data if the third media data and the first media data are simultaneously outputted, or the third media data and the second media data are simultaneously outputted. The processing device is configured to process the first media data and the second media data to obtain a processing result, the processing result being used to generate presentation data indicating correspondences between interfaces and the media data.

The method includes playing a target video in a first video play page; receiving a first slide operation on the first video play page, where the first slide operation is used for switching current display content of the first video play page; and in response to the first slide operation satisfying a trigger condition for displaying a hotspot list, playing a preset video of the hotspot list on the first video play page, displaying the hotspot list in a layer on the preset video, and displaying video items of multiple hotspot videos in the hotspot list.

Systems and methods for dynamically adjusting display content and parameters on a display region are provided. A display manager can control a display environment including a plurality of display regions and can display content items in the display regions. The display manager can identify an event record placed via a client device located in a display zone corresponding to a display region of the display environment. The event record can correspond to an event associated with at least one of the respective content items. The display manager can determine to change a first content item displayed within the display region or a value of a parameter of the display region. The display manager can modify the display region by replacing the first content item with a second content item corresponding to the event associated with the event record or by adjusting the parameter of the display region.
