Method and system for wireless video transmission via different interfaces
A method and system is provided for wireless transmission of audio/video information via different wired AV interface formats. A method and system for wireless communication of audio/video AV information between AV devices includes receiving audio/video (AV) information from a first AV module via a first wired AV interface in a first AV device, applying interface dependent processing to the AV information, and transmitting the processed AV information from a wireless transceiver over a wireless channel to a wireless receiver of a second AV device. The second AV device includes a second wired AV interface and the first AV interface is of a different type than the second interface device.
Transmission apparatus, display apparatus, and image display system
A transmission apparatus includes: a video-signal transmission section transmitting a video signal to an external apparatus by a differential signal through a plurality of channels through a transmission line; and an information transmission section transmitting image-quality adjustment information corresponding to the video signal transmitted by the video-signal transmission section to the external apparatus through a communication path formed by a pair of differential transmission lines included in the transmission line.
VOICE COMMAND INTEGRATION FOR LOCAL NETWORK CONNECTED DEVICES
Various arrangements for facilitating smart television content receivers in a local network are provided. In an example, a secondary television receiver receives audio data, converts the audio data into voice command data, and transmits the voice command data to a primary television receiver. In response, the primary television receiver transmits the voice command data to a voice processing server via the Internet, receives a command generated based on the voice command data, and transmits the command to the secondary television receiver. Based on the command, an operation of the secondary television receiver is controlled.
Packet-based digital display interface
A passive cable adaptor for connecting a data source device with a display device is described. The adaptor has a packet-based interface connector at one end, the connector having a positive main link pin, a negative main link pin, a positive auxiliary channel pin, and a negative auxiliary channel pin. At the other end is a micro serial interface connector, wherein multimedia content is transmitted over the cable adaptor and electrical power is supplied over the cable adaptor simultaneously. The cable adaptor has an auxiliary and hot plug detect (HPD) controller utilized to map the auxiliary channel and HPD signals of the packet-based digital display to the micro serial interface ID signal.
Method of controlling setting device, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing program, and image display system
The setting device includes a communication device and a processing device. The communication device communicates with the electronic apparatuses. The processing device transmits first configuration information representing a fixed first configuration used to connect one of the electronic apparatuses to a network to the electronic apparatus with the communication device taking detection of the electronic apparatus by the communication device as a trigger, and then makes the electronic apparatus store the first configuration information. Further, the processing device transmits second configuration information representing a fixed second configuration which is different from the first configuration and which is used to connect the other of the electronic apparatuses to the network to the electronic apparatus with the communication device taking detection of the electronic apparatus by the communication device as a trigger, and then makes the electronic apparatus store the second configuration information after transmitting the first configuration information.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus transmits a picture acquisition request for getting picture information to an external image apparatus connected through a predetermined interface to the display apparatus from the external image apparatus at predetermined intervals and gets a plurality of pieces of picture information from the external image apparatus to be displayed. The plurality of pictures may be switched at predetermined intervals, for example, to be displayed, so that the plurality of pictures may be displayed in a so-called slide show manner. A plurality of pictures for thumbnail may be produced from the plurality of pieces of picture information and be arranged together to be displayed in one picture screen of a display device.
CONTENT DISPLAY
According to an example, to output content to a display, content from a first source and a second source, via a radio, is received. The first content and the second content are combined on a processor into a single stream and output to a display. In an example, the second content is received from a server and combined with the first content in response to a user in proximity to the display. In an example, the received second content is modified in response to a change in the user proximity.
DISTRIBUTED DIGITAL PROJECTION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A distributed digital projection system is disclosed which includes a plurality of smart projectors coupled to a head end server computer via a network. Each smart projector has a first network interface coupled to the network. Each smart projector is configured to receive commands and digital content, to process the received commands, and to convert the received digital content into a projection light signal for output. Each smart projector may include a second network interface to allow a daisy-chain network configuration. The head end server computer is configured to issue commands and to forward digital content to each of the at least one smart projectors, the commands specifying at least a time for display of the digital content. The digital content is stored on either network attached storage device coupled to the network or on a storage device directly coupled to or integrated with the head end server computer.
Systems and methods for enabling communication between USB type-C connections and legacy connections over an extension medium
Techniques for supporting USB and video communication over an extension medium are provided. In some embodiments, an upstream facing port device (UFP device) is coupled to legacy connectors of a host device, and a downstream facing port device (DFP device) is coupled to a USB Type-C receptacle of the sink device that may provide both USB and DisplayPort information. The UFP device and DFP device communicate to properly configure the USB Type-C connection for use in the extension environment. In some embodiments, a source device is coupled to the UFP device via a USB Type-C connection, and legacy video and USB devices are coupled to the DFP device. The UFP device and DFP device again communicate to cause the source device to properly configure the USB Type-C connection for use in the extension environment.
System and method for reconfiguration of an entertainment system controlling device
An entertainment device initiates a configuration process of a controlling device in response to a change in an audio visual entertainment system configuration in which at least one of a plurality devices is connected to the entertainment device as an audio and/or visual source and at least one of the plurality of devices is connected to the entertainment device as an audio and/or visual output destination for the entertainment device.
