Method and apparatus for transmission and reception of wireless data
Systems and processes are provided for receiving a request for an audio video program from a display device, transmitting the request for the audio video program via a bidirectional network, receiving the audio video program via the bidirectional network wherein the audio video program is received at a first data rate, transmitting an alternate request for the audio video program via the bidirectional network wherein the alternate request for the audio video program includes are request for the audio video program to be transmitted via a unidirectional wireless transmission, receiving the audio video program via the unidirectional wireless transmission, and transmitting the audio video program to the display device.
Set top box having downloaded extender service agent to provide enhanced Wi-Fi coverage
A set top box (STB) providing enhanced Wi-Fi coverage. The STB downloads and configures an extender service agent for implementing extender capability at the STB. pairing the extender service agent with a router, and providing extended wireless IP connectivity using a fronthaul connection via the antenna to clients in range of IP signals radiated by the antenna. When the STB uses a wired backhaul connection all of an available bandwidth is used for the fronthaul connection, and when a wireless backhaul connection is used, the available bandwidth is split between the backhaul connection and the fronthaul connection.
Projection Connection Control Method And Electronic Device
This application provides a projection connection control method and an electronic device. The method includes: A transmit end device obtains preemption capability information from a receive end device, where the preemption capability information indicates whether the receive end device supports projection connection preemption; and when the receive end device supports projection connection preemption, the transmit end device sends first configuration information to the receive end device in response to a user instruction, so as to configure the receive end device to not support projection connection preemption.
Display device and controlling method of display device
A display device and a method capable of rotating a display based on a type of a user command are provided. The display device according to the disclosure receives a user command while first content is displayed on the display, the display being configured to operate in a first orientation while displaying the first content, maintains the display to operate in the first orientation when the received user command is a command to control a feature corresponding to the first content, determines, based on a type of a second content, to control the display to operate in the first orientation or a second orientation different from the first orientation when the received user command is a command to display the second content on the display, and controls the motor to rotate the display based on the determined first orientation or the second orientation.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
Provided is an information processing device capable of operating in accessibility mode of guaranteeing browsing corresponding to disability or functional degeneration of a body of an operator. A source device checks whether each sink device is in accessibility mode at the time of connection, and determines whether or not metadata for supporting disability (for example, audios, videos, texts, vibration information, or the like) is added to the sink device in the accessibility mode at the time of transmission of original image/audio data. The source device changes a metadata transmission method in accordance with whether the accessibility mode of each sink device is turned on or off.
METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR RECORDING TELEVISION PROGRAM
The present disclosure relates to a method, device and system for recording a television program, pertained to field of intelligent device. The method is applied in a router and includes: receiving an instruction for recording the television program, in which the instruction at least includes an appointment period and an identifier of a television channel; and downloading video data of being played by the television channel within the appointment period. By recording the video data via the router, a user may watch the video data recorded by the router within any period.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR UBIQUITOUS APPLIANCE CONTROL
A slave relay station is adapted to serve and/or host pages comprising a simplified graphic user interface (GUI) encoded in a widely recognized format such as, for example, HTML or WML. The GUI embodies activatable links corresponding to control functions for configured appliances. A wireless phone or other device with network access and the capability to process and present such pages, for example via a Web browser, may then be utilized to effect control of such appliances by simply navigating to the network address of the slave relay station, obtaining an appropriate GUI page, and interacting with the links.
Method And System For A Mesh Network Of Satellite Reception Assemblies
A satellite reception assembly that provides satellite television and/or radio service to a customer premises may comprise a wireless interface via which it can communicate with other satellite reception assemblies. Wireless connections between satellite reception assemblies may be utilized for providing satellite content between different satellite customer premises. Wireless connections between satellite reception assemblies may be utilized for offloading traffic from other network connections.
Method and Apparatus for Accessing a Terminal Device Camera to a Target Device
The present disclosure discloses a method and apparatus for accessing a terminal device camera to a target device. The method includes: establishing a connection channel between the terminal device camera and the target device; starting the terminal device camera and obtaining image data captured by the terminal device camera; and transmitting the obtained image data to the target device through the connection channel established.
SYNCHRONIZATION IN AUDIO PLAYBACK NETWORK INDEPENDENT OF SYSTEM CLOCK
A method is provided for synchronizing playback of audio an/or video by a plurality of separate devices in a computer network. Each separate device generates a virtual clock in response to a timing of the audio codec of a received audio stream. Either the virtual clock is generated directly in response to the tick counter of the audio codec, or by a periodic measurement of the timing of the audio codec interpolated by a monotonic clock. A sample rate converter may be used to slightly adjust the frequency of the virtual clock.
