Disclosed is a system and method for reducing the total latency for transferring a frame from the low latency camera system mounted on an aerial vehicle to the display of the remote controller. The method includes reducing the latency through each of the modules of the system, i.e. through a camera module, an encoder module, a wireless interface transmission, wireless interface receiver module, a decoder module and a display module. To reduce the latency across the modules, methods such as overclocking the image processor, pipelining the frame, squashing the processed frame, using a fast hardware encoder that can perform slice based encoding, tuning the wireless medium using queue sizing, queue flushing, bitrate feedback, physical medium rate feedback, dynamic encoder parameter tuning and wireless radio parameter adjustment, using a fast hardware decoder that can perform slice based decoding and overclocking the display module are used.

Methods, systems, computer readable media, and apparatuses for providing synchronous supplemental experiences are presented. According to one or more aspects, a video signal may be transmitted to a display device, and a sync signal may be transmitted to at least one other device. The sync signal may include an identifier of a program currently being displayed and a time value indicating a current point in time of the program. In at least one arrangement, the sync signal may cause the at least one other device to access content synchronization data; determine, based on the content synchronization data, that at least one supplemental experience corresponds to the identifier of the program and the time value; and present the at least one supplemental experience to a user.

A streaming media device includes a printed circuit board hosting components configured to access internet data. An audio/visual connector is linked to the printed circuit board, wherein the audio/visual connector is adapted for connection to an audio/visual device, wherein the audio/visual connector is adapted to operate with a first audio/visual interface having sufficient power to fully operate the printed circuit board and a second audio/visual interface having insufficient power to fully operate the printed circuit board. A proxy service is described for linking a device with a remote server via a mobile application. Accordingly, a portable computer such as a smart phone can execute a mobile application that creates a proxy service through which data can be wirelessly communicated from the device to the portable computer via a personal area network (PAN) and wirelessly communicated from the portable computer to the remote server via a wide area network (WAN). The remote server can also send data to the device via the proxy service in the reverse direction.

Disclosed are a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request transmission method and device. The HTTP request transmission method and device resolve a problem that data finally obtained through splicing is invalid because dividing an original HTTP request into a plurality of HTTP requests to pull data from different content distribution network (CDN) servers may cause inconsistency of the pulled data. When an electronic device needs to download data from a plurality of CDN servers, an overlapping range may be designed for byte ranges allocated to the different CDN servers. This means that the electronic device downloads data in the overlapping range from all the different CDN servers. Therefore, this part of data is used to check consistency of the data pulled from the different CDN servers. When determining that the data pulled from the different CDN servers is consistent, the electronic device may splice the data to obtain finally required data.

A content projection method and device related to the field of screen projection technologies are provided. The method includes: The third electronic device plays second content; an NFC chip of the third electronic device touches or approaches an NFC chip of the first electronic device; the third electronic device receives connection status information sent by the first electronic device; and the third electronic device projects the second content to the second electronic device based on the connection status information.

The method includes: receiving, by a first device, a first operation of enabling a first service by a user; in response to the first operation, separately obtaining, by the first device from N electronic devices, device parameters associated with the first service, where the N electronic devices and the first device are located in a same communication network; predicting, by the first device according to the device parameters, quality of service of executing the first service by each electronic device of the N electronic devices; and displaying, by the first device, a device list according to the quality of service of executing the first service by each electronic device in the N electronic devices, where the device list includes a device identifier of at least one electronic device in the N electronic devices.

Examples are disclosed and described to facilitate resolution of Internet Protocol address conflicts. An example method includes periodically broadcasting, by the playback device over the network, a probe message, detecting, by the playback device, a change in status associated with the connection, based on the detection, obtaining, by the playback device, a new Internet Protocol (IP) address; and based on the detection, including, by the playback device in at least one probe message broadcast subsequent to the detection, an indication for other playback devices on the network to obtain a new IP address.

Methods and systems provide synchronized sharing of multimedia between multiple devices. The multiple devices may form an ad-hoc network for sharing of multimedia. In an embodiment, group members may have playlist manipulation privileges such as pausing, rewinding, fast forwarding, or adding tracks to the playlist. A system may stream or distribute content according to the shared playlist. Playback may be synchronized for group members so that everyone is exposed to a same part of the content as the same time.
