System and method for digital rights management control using video analytics
09769542 · 2017-09-19 · ·

Digital rights management (DRM) of video data is selectively applied to video data by a video processing system that receives a video, comprising a number of frames, and processes at least one frame from the video to determine the contents of the video. The digital rights management for the video is then configured based on the contents of the video.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CREATING AND MANIPULATING SYNTHETIC ENVIRONMENTS

Disclosed herein are systems, computer-implemented methods, and tangible computer-readable media for synthesizing a virtual window. The method includes receiving an environment feed, selecting video elements of the environment feed, displaying the selected video elements on a virtual window in a window casing, selecting non-video elements of the environment feed, and outputting the selected non-video elements coordinated with the displayed video elements. Environment feeds can include synthetic and natural elements. The method can further toggle the virtual window between displaying the selected elements and being transparent. The method can track user motion and adapt the displayed selected elements on the virtual window based on the tracked user motion. The method can further detect a user in close proximity to the virtual window, receive an interaction from the detected user, and adapt the displayed selected elements on the virtual window based on the received interaction.

PARTIAL FRAME REPLACEMENT ENABLING MULTIPLE VERSIONS IN AN INTEGRATED VIDEO PACKAGE
20220021931 · 2022-01-20 ·

Multiple different versions of media content are contained in a single package of audio-video media content, using compression algorithms that reduce storage and bandwidth required for storing multiple full-resolution versions of the media. Portions of individual frames are replaced during playback so that only the pixels that differ between versions need to be stored.

SOLID-STATE IMAGING DEVICE, SOLID-STATE IMAGING METHOD, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
20220006952 · 2022-01-06 ·

There is provided a solid-state imaging device including an imaging unit (211) configured to capture a first captured image, a storage controlling unit (2332) configured to extract, on a basis of information relating to detection of a first behavior of an imaging target from the first captured image, a first feature amount of the imaging target from the first captured image to have the first feature amount stored into a storage unit, and a transmission controlling unit (2331) configured to control, when a second feature amount coincident with or similar to the first feature amount is extracted from a second captured image captured by the imaging unit, transmission of the second captured image or data based on the second captured image.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING WHETHER TO ADJUST VOLUMES OF INDIVIDUAL AUDIO COMPONENTS IN A MEDIA ASSET BASED ON A TYPE OF A SEGMENT OF THE MEDIA ASSET
20230156290 · 2023-05-18 ·

Systems and methods are provided herein for determining whether to adjust volumes of individual audio components in a media asset based on a type of segment of the media asset that is playing back. A media guidance application may determine that a user is playing back a segment of a media asset. The media guidance application may determine a type corresponding to the segment. The media guidance application may parse a plurality of audio components of the media asset that are playing back during the segment. The media guidance application may determine, for each audio component, whether to adjust the volume playing back during the segment based on the type. For each audio component of the plurality of audio components, in response to determining to adjust the volume, the media guidance application may adjust the volume of the audio component playing back during the segment.

SENSITIVITY ASSESSMENT FOR MEDIA PRODUCTION USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

An automatic flagging of sensitive portions of a digital dataset for media production includes receiving the digital dataset comprising at least one of audio data, video data, or audio-video data for producing at least one media program. A processor identifies sensitive portions of the digital dataset likely to be in one or more defined content classifications, based at least in part on comparing unclassified portions of the digital dataset with classified portions of the prior media production using an algorithm, and generates a plurality of sensitivity tags each signifying a sensitivity assessment for a corresponding one of the sensitive portions. The processor may save the plurality of sensitivity tags each correlated to its corresponding one of the sensitive portions in a computer memory for use by a media production or localization team.

TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A transmitter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a detection section, a generation section, and a transmission unit. The detection section detects ROI image data on a basis of ROI instruction information. The generation section generates ROI information from the ROI image data detected by the detection section. The transmission unit transmits the ROI image data and the ROI information to an external device. The detection section detects motion information on the detected ROI image data on a basis of one of a plurality of pieces of image data obtained at different imaging timings and a plurality of pieces of the ROI image data obtained at different imaging timings.
